Prompter software request - Please add more margin control. Right now when I do 100% margin so that all of the text is closer to the center of the screen, the indent for the text is too far to the left, which makes the "eye contact" feel off.

Headsets do NOT cause dents in your skull. It can very temporarily leave an indentation in your skin similar to marks on your skin that you see around your waist when changing. It is temporary and goes away very quickly. It takes ~135kg of force (298 lbs) to fracture a skull. Headsets do not have the weight or force to accomplish that.

I made a python utility that patches audio from the wave link output to an ASIO device, resulting in a LOT lower latency. i’m experiencing close to 20ms of added latency using the software compared to 80ms when using it straight

using wavelink was close to unusable with my setup (only streamdeck +) so this worked REALLY well for me so i’m hoping it works well for others, still just a basic resource so the user would need to install python & its dependence’s but i wanted to share the resource in case anyone has any ideas

Hey there, if anyone has experience with getting the Stream Deck XL to integrate properly with OBS Studio, and doesn't mind assisting, I would appreciate it. I have deleted and reinstalled Stream Deck a few times in home the plugin would latch as it is supposed to.

I am on an i9 13500, 4090 with 128GB RAM and 64bit so I don't think that could be the problem

Guys I have few queries can we use a USB hub to connect Elgato products basically I connect my Elgato products with my Laptop it has 2 USB A 3.0 and 1 HDMI and 1 USB Type c port now the problem here is that I have a Webcam which uses type A Elgato Wave 3 mic, Elgato Stream Deck XL and Elgato HD 60X capture Card which is connected with a Type C to Type C cable

Not sure if it's the same for Windows users, but here is something for mac users who have a Prompter:
you can turn the Prompter on and off by using a "Multi Action Switch" on your Stream Deck. Just add "Open" the DisplayLink Manager app as one action and "Close" as the second action. Just in case someone is looking for a solution

I normally dont drop my phone either. I keep a screen protector on it just to avoid any potential scratches from my pocket or where ever I may place it down.
Last phone I broke was the LG G6. I was looking at it while heading to my car and slipped. Threw the thing damn near 10 feet in the air. It seemed alright so I went home. Got home and took it out of the case to check on it. No damage. Go to put it back in the case and it slipped and fell on the kitchen floor and cracked.

Before the facecame pro that I got I also used the mount to use my phone as a camera. I "lost" my phone every single time I used it.

Half the reason I got the Facecam Pro was just so I would stop losing my phone on the mount.

The way I do it is using Wave Link that’s included with Streamdeck+ and run all my audio to the stream through that besides Music, and I do a separate Application Audio Capture for Spotify and have the music excluded on a Twitch VOD track

You have a MicrophoneFX output and the Stream Mix through Wave Link, and add your VST’s to your microphone in Wave Link and then use that as a microphone instead of using filters in OBS for your mic

GoXLR software is dated, built in EQ is limited to its hardware and doesn't include the ability to use submixes or fader paging.

The only thing it has going for it is the built in voice changer which while fun is a gimmick imo that I hardly used and could be replaced with Voicemod if the fancy takes me.

Just because it works now doesn't mean it's good. It needed updating prior to the devs dismissal. It never got fader paging or submixes which is absolutely massive.

Like I said before my personal setup right now is the Wave XLR and stream deck plus which I currently recommend if you want to stick with an XLR mic.

There are a bunch of people that also swear by the BEACN stuff which is made by the original GoXLR team.

Depending on what you are looking for a Rodecaster 2 might be something to look at if you have the budget too.

By all means if you want the GoXLR go for it as well. Just don't get it under the illusion it's in a safe place. It's a risky bet at this point and considering its price is still way up there it's simply not competitive in the market now with it's lacking features.
