This is not for help. But I thought some of you might like this. Instead of an overhead cam I attached my facecam to the low profile mic mount to give me a flexible over the shoulder camera that I can move around. It turned out better than I hoped. For anyone looking for an alternative to an overhead this might work. * I use my keylight air to shine directly at the streamdeck

I don't post here very often but I found a possible fix to an old problem. my apologies if this is already known.
I recently got a new computer, and I put in my capture card and found that whenever my computer hibernates, it disconnects my capture card.
While I still need to test this in long periods of time, which will be done tomorrow, previously I had to physically remove the PCIE card and then reconnect it in its PCIE slot for my computer to recognize it, and a reboot would not help, causing me to have to physically remove/reconnect it(queue KH joke here?)
so I googled the error and nobody seemed to have a fix barring changing the IRQ ID codes, but I think I've got one.
it seems that windows fast boot conflicts with the registration of the capture card when turning the computer back on from hibernation.
Turn off fastboot and it SEEMS like it'll work fine since I turned off fastboot and the capture card came back on after a restart, which it did not do before.
But naturally I can't offer any promises.

This means absolutely nothing. You dont need to "see a download" to get infected with something.

If this is all you did just disable chrome notifications/popups again.
Settings > Privacy and security > Pop-ups and redirects > Don't allow site to send pop-ups or use redirects

If you are not savvy enough to run a proper malware/virus check I would backup your data with an external device(which you should do anyways as its good data security) and then take the device to a professional.

You can bind the 3 buttons to anything you can with Streamdecks, and have different profiles for different apps like discord, browser, ingame, recordingsoftware etc

I'd use it mostly for discord, push-to-talk and such, but switching between amps and effects when I'm playing guitar etc also and many other functions 😄 so handy

You won't, only remove the program from windows uninstaller. Don't use something like Revo where it searches your entire computer for files left behind. I literally just removed the program and reinstalled for the exact same thing you have and all my profiles are still there.

I will give that a shot. I am getting slightly tired of twitch muting things sometimes, so I figured, try to record the game audio, discord audio and microphone seperately. I tried to do local recording of the stream at the same time but it affected things pretty bad, what was green all the time on the bottom right of obs would go to red when doing both. Figured audio only seperate recording will be easier.

@cosmic prawn I can also recommend splitting your audio in OBS for recording, streaming and the VOD where it doesn't save the Music track so it won't get muted unless you play a game with copyrighted music, there's tons of guides on youtube on how to do it 🙂

@cursive snow I've tried to answer your private message you sent me a while ago but it couldn't be delivered for some reasons. Anyway, I was following up with:

Hey @cursive snow , sorry for the delay, I was traveling abroad for a while. I'm back now, and clicking on the link shows a pop up screen saying "The invite link is invalid or has expired."

On a side note, starting up the computer (after all this time being out), I had plenty of software update to do obviously, and among them, Stream Deck wasn't opening anymore, saying that this version was expired. So I downloaded the latest available from Stream Deck's website. And actually, I was kinda happy to find the old version of the store, within the app. I mean, having a webpage opening to get access to the store is not really something that I dig, really. I mean, our web browsers are super loaded of tabs nowadays (at least for most people), and it can be a mess pretty quickly, right? So having an extra one that is related to an opened software, doesn't really makes sense to me. Don't get me wrong, I liked trying it out and give you guys feedback, but at the end of the day, I feel that having everyting Elgato releated within the app is more intuitive than an additional tab in my browser. Also because the app remembers my settings (I have to log in again to my account if I didn't visit the store through the web browser after a while), and the webpage won't remember my view settings (like sorted by "recently added" for the plugins, for instance), I constantly have to specify the way I want to sort the plugins. I guess it could be fix with a cookie, but that's the thing... If I clean my web browser's data (cookies, history, etc...) I'll lose the settings for the Stream Deck's store, as if staying in the app, it's probably within a .plist or a .json file, right? Anyway, I hope you see what I mean and that it makes sense. 🙂
