They are both good Mics.. MY personal preference is to dynamic mics because I am too lazy to adjust the settings for a condensor... or to unplug my setup 😂 . Just know the DX will need a xlr device so the Wave XLR or something. The wave 3 uses USB C and plugs right in to a USB port.

If you were to take it to a proper paint supplier there is like a 90% chance they can just color match it for you.

Hello, I am a user of the "EpocCam" app for live streaming now I notice that when I use the app in Twitch studio it just films 16:9 but when I use the app with OBS it streams in aspect ratio 1:1 and I don't see the possibility to adjust the aspect ratio anywhere (I use the free version I don't know if that also plays a role) can someone help me how to solve this so that I can still stream 16:9 in OBS

I have been tasked with setting up a digital conference room at work, a room where a single person will attend Teams/Zoom meetings with good video quality and lighting.
I am considering requesting my eployer buy Elgato equipment (facecam pro, 2 key lights and maybe an elgato wave). BUT - this depends on whether this can be controlled without issue from multiple peoples' laptops. Not everyone is tech savvy. This gives me pause, I need plug-and-play hardware here.

I use my Stream Deck for work (nothing strange here) and i use my Stream Deck Pedal for the ATC simulator (actually this idea came from a stream of @opaque torrent and that's the only reason that i have the SD Pedal apart of use it as a Push to talk button for discord too)

Well.... you see. I don't use spotify. But even without the API, I bet I could find a way to make it work. I know for sure streamdeck's built in media controls will pause, play and go to next, and you can link your playlists which if you have an app you can set the link up to automatically open in the app.
It's a five minute job if you have the links at hand.

I have a capture card myself but not an Elgato one it's an Avermedia Live Gamer 2 Xtreme. But the main reason I use it is so that I do not have to add game sources from within OBS. I have over a thousand games so that is very time consuming adding all those. But with my capture card I just have the one scene added so it doesn't matter what game I play.
Now as to your problem are you using streaming with OBS / (StreamElements) or Streamlabs or something else?

There is a couple of things you can try. First of all:
Are you running any animated scenes? If so turn them off or use static ones.
Are you using any browser sources? If so disable them for the moment to see if that improves performance.
You could use a program call Game Fire. I have used it for years now. It disables all un-needed resources and speeds up my computer and increases frame rates. I have an i5 9600K that I have overclocked to 4.4Ghz, 32GB of 3600Mhz RAM and a GALAX OC 3060Ti and still I run this program as it saves me using resources I don't need and increases my FPS and general game play.

First off, congrats on getting a stream deck! its an a mazing piece of hardware. Once you learn how to use it, you can do almost anything with the macros. open files, games, you can set buttons to use items in games or select things. there is a ton. Thats just scratching the surface

You can also connect it to smart things in your house. So if you have a smarts you can use it as a home automation hub, or press it to brew your coffee and open your apps, check your email, ect.

(gonna assume you have a streamdeck of some form and have the OBS plugin installed)
- Install the Plugin on the Elgato Plugin Store for "SoundDeck" (or something like that, I'm at work and don't have access to my personal set up)
- create an Auto Action
- First action: Switch OBS scene
- Second action: Play (random?) macro
This is just theoretical, but it sounds like what you want to do is plausible through a combo of auto actions/random actions. Wish I could test it myself to explain it more in detail, but I hope this helps o7

I have a question about Order Status, since i cant find something on the website and the "whats the status"-website just shows "You're not authorized":
So on the german version of the elgato website it says "Geliefert" which is german for delivered. if i switch to the english version it says "SHIPPED" which i guess means on the way, or? My order did not arrive til now, so the german website version makes me nervous about the package got lost, but the english version let me the hope, that it's just wrong translated. Also.. I have a question and I don’t know if it’s related to a Streamdeck or not. I’ve been asking around about coding or how to make a command that counts upwards.. For example:
!boop and it would shoot off the command that the streamer has been booped so many times and display an image. This counter would go up as the stream goes on and reset when a new stream is started.
Someone told me that I would need a streamdeck for this to work. I was just wondering if someone would happen to know if this is true and if so, how do I go about making the command for OBS in Streamlabs or StreamElements..
