Since the actual feature request form doesn't allow a Other option, I wish Elgato had a universal software that allowed you to download the individual software as modules so it'd be easier to update and maintain firmware and software updates instead of having to open each individual software, check the firmware version, check the software version, and then after doing so closing them out if you're not needing to use them at the time

Yeah, since in the current system it is difficult to see what’s updated and what isn’t and having to open multiple softwares gets tedious when it could be unified

And theoretically it shouldn’t be all that difficult to implement, since it’d still technically download all of the separate softwares, you’d just interact with them in a single software when it comes to managing and updating and for actual interaction you’d still be opened up to the software tab like Wave and Control Center, etc

There is a very good reason "all in one" software was abandoned 20 years ago. It is an incredibly bad idea for so many reasons.

One is the increased difficulty and complexity of adding functionality for one piece of the software.

Another is forcing users who only need one piece of the software to have an application running using more resources than necessary because the software includes all possible devices.

The increased complexity is more difficult to maintain, ensure stability, and prevent one bug from disabling the usage of all devices.

I can go on and on. But don't forget, many apps used to be only one app like MS Office for example.

What I was talking about is it still being separate software, but as modules in the main loader. So you can update all of the software in the loader, but it’s still only running one piece of software so Wave for instance, when it isn’t updating

Hello, new to channel. I am having issues and not sure if it's my camera ( elgato Facecam) or Streamlabs, no issues at all with Streamlabs but after getting Facecam, whenever I open Streamlabs and prepare stream after 5-15 min my screens with flicker and camera will freeze and Streamlabs will crash. I've reinstalled all software and reset up my camera and Streamlabs but still happens. All DRIVERS are updated and all hardware is up to date. Any help would be appreciated

Step I took already: STEP 1 - Installed streamdeckXL App, STEP 2 Plugged usb cable into a direct USB connection on back of PC. I'm ok with the blue, as it's their logo, and Blue is part of the branding. Now if you could RGB it, it would be awesome, but I don't forsee a neon light doing that yet.

now, the thing I was thinking the led strip light they sell, you could shape it into the logo, and maybe diffuse it, and mount it to an acrylic backplate, and get the effect desired.

I'll do ticket as well, but for now, here's the issue with HD60X

I updated it to the latest firmware btw

on PS5, whenever I have VRR enabled in 1440p 120Hz, the output from a VRR content in capture card recording is 30 FPS

I tested with OBS, tried every setting, and also Elgato 4K

as soon as I disable VRR, it can give me 60FPS

for recording in 1440p

Everything is set correctly

and when I'm in console menu (no VRR) the recording is 60FPS

but in the game, it's 30 double picture

when VRR is off, it's fine

Hi, new user here.

I know that my Stream Deck XL can interact with my Corsair keyboard but it doesn't seem to be able to control the Nexus Companion. That would be a nice feature.

But last, but not the least, it would be very useful being able to interact with the Stream Deck FROM the Nexus.

That way I can, for example, change Stream Deck profiles from the Nexus touch scrren. It cost less than buying a Stream Deck mini. 🙂

Hope Elgato could implement this in the near future.

Hello I got a new PC yesterday and I loaded the backup profiles from my old pc into my stream deck. All of the custom images are no longer there. They are just "?". Is there a way to get the images back on there without reinstalling each profile?

Hai! I've been using Stream Deck for years, and it's super great. One of the best products I've gotten for my streaming setup.

Anyway, I'm trying to get a sound effect out of the free library, but it just says "No Results Found" when I click on the Sound Effect tab in the Store window.

Can’t recommend them enough. They’re not the best for listening to music as they have a pretty flat sound profile but for creating content (like video editing or music creation) it’s perfect. You’re able to really dial in your sound due to the neutral profile. As a video editor primarily, sound mixing has always been one of the harder parts, but getting the clearest possible sound at a more budget price ($150) is great.

I recently got the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, which I sent back yesterday. must honestly say the sound with the sonar was overwhelming. but since I work a lot with Elgato things and therefore also Wave Link, it was more of a pain because I had to reset everything after every restart. Steelseries GG changed the sound setting every time and it was really annoying. I'll take a look at your headphones. let's see what they can do. I play a lot of different games and currently I have the Sensheiser HD 599 SE

The one I use the most with Dials is the official Wave Link plugin, has support for input, outputs, devices and effects like VST's

And I link the outputs specific to my headphones/speakers to one Dial using Multi Actions, and then another Dial for all my outputs for the Stream Mix 🙂

and click through the dialstack to the source I want to control, like Browser and lower it or mute, so great

I've been wanting to try V-Tubing, but 3D models with rigged tracking is $$$ so I'm planning on starting with PNG-Tubeing.

I would use the Streamdeck set up to the side to where I could hit the keys with my elbow to change the different PNG emotion displayed and possibly different sound cues without taking hands of the keyboard and mouse.

The XL is the one I've been dreaming of for the bigger buttons being more conducive to elbow taps.

Wave:3 and wave Link had been a godsend for me, that said I have my USB peripherals on a hub with physical disconnect switches and if I don't turn on the Wave's port before booting it will often cause any program that produces audio to crash.

Not a big issue but an odd bug I noticed.

I also had to go into discord and tell it to not auto adjust my levels, my room is treated and extremely quiet and I was accidentally blowing people's ears out on occasion because the gain would creep up to the noise floor which was like 18db.
