Stream Deck will only let you have one version installed at a time. If this issue is the same one that others have been having though, reverting versions won't fix it, you need to manually reinstall the plugins

hey all, new here, but hoping can find some help. Im new to streaming set ups, i am trying to get my PS5 to work with the hd60x capture card. Im connected to a Dell 24in 165hz monitor, when i hook the System straight to the monitor it works perfectly fine. However when i connect it through the capture card the monitor goes black and tells me to set the device up to run 1920x1080 165hz. I cant seem to find a solution for this, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Does anyone have experience with the Elgato Green Screen? I saw it is height adjustable and you don't have to use it fully drawn out to its max height, in my case I would only be able to extend it to roughly 75% of its max since there is a sloped roof above me. Does it hold well and is it sturdy when not drawn out to its max also after using it for months/years? Maybe someone who has owned one for quite some time can chip in?

The regular one, not the XL version

Since that one is 148 cm x 180 cm and I have seen in videos that the mechanism of it will just stay even if you don't extend it all the way up to the 180 cm max. For me it would roughly be 150 cm height... all I am afraid of is that it might not be as stable or that the mechanism over time wears down. I don't want to end up having the green screen collapse behind me or retract into its case with full force 😂 so I figured I would ask here if people have some experience with it

Yeah will do some more digging. Most videos don't even show it properly, like everyone just seems to expect that you will always fully extend it to the max height. I wish I could but the sloped roof in my man cave makes this impossible 😂 thank you anyway! 🙂

yeah, I can totally understand. I've got my 1st gen, and it's still lasting. I like the wideness of the new one though, and I'm the type that will put it away after use.

It looks a lot more "secure" when its fully extended but maybe it just seems that way in the videos I watched and in reality no matter where you have it, it will be super stable and secure. no, because razer doesn't have a plugin for the streamdeck. also keep in mind razer and corsair/elgato aren't partners. now if an enthusiast were to make a plugin cool, but Razer is partnered with Loupedeck. My guess is that's the reason.

You can estimate the bandwidth needs for video devices like this pretty easily. If you're recording 1080p60 10 bit, which looks like it might be the highest option for the card, that's 1,920×1,080×60×10×3 bits per second, or 3.74Gbps. A basic USB 3.0 cable should get you about 4.8Gbps which should be plenty. Just make sure it's not USB 2 which is only 0.48Gbps

4k60 10 bit would be 14.93Gbps though so if you want to future-proof for that you'll need to be more careful and get a 20Gbps or 40Gbps capable cable

But if your target is 1080p60, then any cable labeled USB 3 should be acceptable

Open one of the profile you want to edit on the streamdeck and set a switch to profile button on the deck. then in the other profile in the same place as the other switch profile action put another that goes back. This is the fastest way to edit in between profiles i've found

hi has anybody used a new stream deck to replace goxlr?

i would like to downsize but i use all the physical inputs on the goxlr, including line in and optical

so i am not sure what combination of hardware/SW i need to replace

Steam deck works best with either wave mic or the xlr. My original pairing was with HyperX quadcast, but noticed a slight latency issue when recording/streaming with obs.
But recently I got rid of the goxlr for the wave link and it works even better.

thx. problem i have is i use all the inputs in the goxlr, i have a mac that inputs audio on line in, an apple tv going into the optical in port, and then i use the two outputs on the goxlr for speakers and headphones. so if theres a way to get those inputs to my PC and just use the software plus a streamdeck+ to control everything that would be better than having the goxlr but i just dont know how to do it. motherboard doesnt have all those inputs and the wavexlr doesnt either

no. and you won't be able to pre-load it with anything either.
you will still have your plugins and icon packs etc. on the stream deck software,
but that aside you will have to just visualize a 4x8 grid and start over.

I cancelled my order for a stream deck and replaced it with an order for an XL

Hello all. I have an issue with my Elgato hd60x. I have tried is on 2 laptops and my desktop.

I am getting display and audio output but the OBS and Elgato 4K Utility stays black.

I have now tried several hdmi cables, usb A to usb C and usb C to C cables.

Guys I did something crazy today - I have the HD60 S+ which does not support 1440p120 in either passthrough or recording. Well, in MW2 on PS5 I have it set to 120hz in game and my gamecapture is not only passing the 120hz but is recording.... yet when i record PC gameplay the same doesn't happen

Hi, I'm facing 2 issues.

1. Every time I restart my pc (90% of the time) I find that the filters I put on my Mics (Input) in Wave Link are muted and not toggled on. I will need to manually unmute/toggle them to enable them again. This occurs almost every time I restart my PC and/or the application. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, performed updates to latest versions as they are released and they the problem continues regardless.

2. With regards to one the newer feature on the Wavelink, the "Route to MicrophoneFX" option in the SFX channel I have it selected. But for some reason I can't seem to add the audio output for this option in a Soundboard - play audio on my Stream Deck Mk.2. I saw the video you had on your Elgato twitter page showing how to do it; yet I am missing the audio option to select. There is no output option available for Wave Link MicrophoneFX to choose from on my stream deck. My audio options in Windows are set up correctly, I have my default communication devices set correctly in both playback and recording yet I am not sure why I can't see the option which was displayed on the video shared on your official Elgato twitter page.

Let me know if I'm going crazy or not and if I've done something wrong, or right or if i'm just blind and what I'm looking for is in the "open your eyes section".

Hello everyone, I still have a new Elgato HD 60S, which I have only used briefly 5 times and then put back in the box, now I don't know what to do with it and thought I'd ask the admins here if there was one Possibility exists to send the device back and get some money back or possibly exchange it for something else.
