Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't have any easy way to let you control Alexa devices from other places, which you'd need to be able to make that sort of Stream Deck plugin. You might be able to do it with HomeBridge and Home Assistant working together, but that's a deep rabbit hole that you might not want to get into.

Can you elaborate on "nothing shows up"? is the plugin just loading an empty window?
Keep in mind Marketplace only works with scene packs, not all the assets as well.

It's somewhat common for folks to expect to to have other assets in it as well, but those still require manual use

Overlays aren't Scene Collections. You need to add in the Overlay as you would any other overlay from the downloads.

Marketplace connect is generally used for importing (or exporting) an entire scene collection to do a complete setup, not individual components

Hi Alva-

I assume you mean the marketplace connect for OBS plugin? If so, unfortunately, it only has the ability to export an entire scene collection (not just a single scene). The ability to export just specific parts of a scene collection is a feature we are looking at.

That said, you should be seeing a file larger than 0 bytes exported. Can you please try exporting again, and when the export is complete, go to Help -> Logs -> Upload Current Log File, then either post the link it gives you here, or DM it to me? That way I can see if there is any logged error going on.

For the native elgato twitch app, the "send message" includes channels you mod for, this is great, however the list of channels available seems to be capped at 20, leaving some names off the list.

I use another plugin to solve this when I'm at my PC, but it's not compatible with my primary use mac device.

I know it's a small thing, just curious if the channel limited could be increased, or maybe have the option to "ignore" a channel to free up space for it to cycle in new options.

Hello and Happy Holidays everyone! This seems like an utterly basic issue:
From the Windows 11 app (on a Stream Deck+), any plugin I try to install fails. Anything. With this message. I was able to install one plugin ("Windows Display Settings") by downloading and double-clicking it, but have not been able to repeat that workflow. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure your Stream Deck app is actually signed into Marketplace, and that you're using the same account that you used to sign into the Website (I've seen it throw this error if someone signed into the app with an Elgato account, but the Website with a Google account, for example).

If it's signed in correctly in both locations I'd suggest signing the app out and in to be safe. If that doesn't do anything, check in %appdata%\Elgato\StreamDeck and see if you have a cache.db file (seeing this requires you have the option to show hidden files enabled). If you do, you can try exiting the app (don't forget to close it form the system tray down by the clock too), then rename the cahce file to something else (don't delete it in case you need to put it back). Then restart the app and try installing plugins again

Thank you - it was signed into different accounts as you suspected. This happened because signing into the top-level elgato.com web site doesn't offer google login, so I set up a new account for that at some point. Anyway, even after sync'ing the logins, I had to quit the app and restart it but now seems like it's all good. Thanks so much!

Hello, Team! I still have this issue even on a freshly-installed copy of Windows 11. Tried checking stuff by pressing F12 and going to Sources to see where the problem might be lying, et voila.

This has also been happening even to the other two computers I have tried downloading SD plugins off of, as early as last month, even after the BarRaider issue, and even with a new copy of Win11 on this third PC, I'm still not getting a good experience with the site.

Anything with payment has to go through customer support - you can go through the link in#official-tech-support to get the email form or phone numbers. This is community support, we don't have access to see why your order isn't processing.
Only other thing we could suggest is trying a different payment method if you have one available, or otherwise following up with your financial institution to see if they can see if the charge is failing (or if they're blocking it for some reason)

I downloaded and installed discord plugin on my new Stream deck + but the plugin doesn't seem to work. I've already deleted the plugin and reinstalled it or even deleted streamdeck and reinstalled streamdeck on my pc again but then adding back the discord plugin it's still not working. I don't get a msg on discord saying that I need to authorize streamdeck or something so I also can't deauthorize it on discord (which is what someone recommended me on reddit).

I have the plugin in the streamdeck app and when I drag a discord function like "go to text channel" to a button then I'd guess that I'd have to select a server and channel but it says "No Server" and "No Channel" and that's it.

Not for direct control. You cna use the Windows media controls, but they switch to the last used app, so if you wind up opening say Youtube after loading Spotify you have to tell windows to swtich back what you want to control

Hi from a perspective of a maker, I would like to know if there's a way for the importer's side to import the scenes in the exported scene collection to their current scene collection instead of creating a new scene collection when merging with the current. Because makers like me are just making scenes for the users instead of a whole scene collection. And it looks like some crashes sometimes happen when merging scene collections, which I think would decrease the confidence of a user about their stuff being intact after creating a new scene collection.

If on Windows, you could utilize the built-in clock or even if you have a stream deck create a flow that opens the clock app....that way when you press the button it will open all of your programs for streaming plus the clock app and start the timer [manually] when you're ready.

I found a bug with a Market Place Plugin with the "Discord by Elgato" using a Stream Deck+. Not sure where to file this bug report. I chatted with the AI bot on the Elgato website but I want to ensure this bug report goes to the right person. I'm going to dump my findings here. Hopefully it goes to the right person.

Steam Deck version: 7.3.1 (22604)
Discord Plugin version (2.2.0.98)

When using the Discord Plugin version (2.2.0.98) the "User Volume Control for Dials" has a bug where when you "press" in on the { Dial } it should be going to the "Next User" if you have the setting set to "Any User".

Currently when you press in on the Dial its "muting" the user instead of moving to the next user. I can also mutes the user by pressing on the touch screen showing that user which is what it should do.

Should be fine yes - though that's a better question for #capture-cards . Only thing I would generally note is macOS can't capture HDR live from the card as it doesn't support P010 in the macOS UVC driver (though you can still game in HDR and the card will tone map to SDR there might be colour shifts).

Hmmm I think the sync from stream deck is also broken for me.
Clicking on view account via Stream Deck goes to a 404 page.

None of the things I "Get" from marketplace shows up on my stream deck. Tried uninstalling / reinstall / rebooting computer. Log in and out. Nothing helps.

Yes, it was doing it on a different browser on a different computer too. By the next day I was able to access it again without issue though.

Feature requests go to #feature-request - there's a link there to sumbit them. This is a community help channel which is usually users so you want to make sure that those requests go to the right place.
Keep in mind as well that the Discord plugin is limited by actions allowed by the Discord API. As Discord doesn't do clips without Nitro this might not be part of their API.

There is a clipping keyboard shortcut though (that's customizable), so you could just set that up and bind it to a hotkey action on your deck.

That's a question for #stream-deck , but the usual troubleshooting for that is:

First check that Stream Deck itself is up to date, and that the plugin in the settings is also up to date (Stream Deck is currently 7.4.2, and the plugin is 2.2.0.98). Also Discord itself should be updated. If you have more than one Discord account setup on the same PC check if you previously authorized it on a different account as well.

After that, the usual fixes for Discord auth issues, are first to remove it from the Discord authorization settings in that app, and add/test it again by re-adding the action to you Stream Deck to see if it at least pops up.

If that fails:

Uninstall Discord, rename the %appdata%\Discord folder to something different, and reinstall it. This usually fixes a repeating authorization issue. Don't actually delete the old folder in case you need to put it back, or have to get support involved as it contains useful logs. This should prevent Discord from getting tripped up in leftover data from previous authorizations can can cause it to retrigger. Rebooting between the uninstall and reinstall is also required to make sure none of the old files or settings are locked open or still resident in memory.

Failing that if it still keeps resetting the authorization or failing to authorize, back up your Stream Deck profiles, and note installed plugins, uninstall the app, then rename the %appdata%\Elgato\StreamDeck to something else before reinstalling so you keep the logs in there, but the app doesn't find any old settings. (This is assuming for PC. MacOS it's probably in the application support library for the same files.)

You probably shouldn't make it to the end of that list and still have issues but if it doesn't work past that, reach out to #official-tech-support and file a ticket through the chat system on the website or call in the number on the link in that channel.

That's a question for #capture-cards - but Studio should not get getting desync. Passthorugh to the HDMI OUT definitely should not as that signal is supposed to pass through the card unmodified - getting delay on the passthrough implies an issue with your source (Make sure you're not confusing passsthrough to the HDMI out port, with preview which is what you view in the app, as these are different things). Check that whatever you're recording from is set to Stereo or Linear PCM, and if it has a sample rate setting 48,000 Hz.
