Now dad was a tolkien and beowulf scholar and he had all these fancy fonts thst could do old english characters and the like, which he didnt want to lose. so, bc getting and installing fonts was way harder back then he spent AGES restoring the compneather than replacing it

When the lightning struck I was waiting for my sister to finish getting changed so I was sitting outside and I literally fell over in shock- the bolt was so big, that a lot of people including myself thought it struck us but it struck that other house so I’m very lucky.

My own definition of ‘moth’ is kind of loose, I guess. To me, one graduates from mothhood once they’ve run Eden a couple of times. (Though it helps if they’ve acquired any other cape.)

But at the same time, one can decide if they feel moth or not. I’d still consider myself a buff moth because I haven’t completed a full season before, and I still have things to learn. Maybe not completely moth. But still kinda moth.

I found that now I could accept the light that others gave me, because one’s pure desire to learn made me so happy. And then they gave a different light.
A powerful light. One that reminded me of heroes forgotten and heartbreak eternal and hope undying. I felt… I felt whole, and I could recall even more than I could before. I didn’t understand it at the time, but what I felt and now always feel is the power of Eden, and the power of companionship.

And maybe that is why we shattered before.

That’s why I don’t see it as mandatory myself. It helps to shake that veneer of mothiness, and I personally didn’t feel like I graduated beyond pure moth until I got my teal cape, but it’s really not a must.

Your skid backstory can depend on what you've experienced. For me my skid was raised by a veteran that all of a sudden left them for a long time ( they did eventually come back but that's alot later ). They hoped their care taker would come back, so while waiting for them to come back they started to become independent and experience things, even to solo eden. Which then their hope slowly dimmed as every season past, no signs of their caretaker were present anywhere they go, it started to take a toll on them eventually to know not everything last forever

Like vasha said... Easiest way to make background for your kid is look at what you are doing in game... Outside cr and dailies.
I like flying around in wind path so i make my kid live there.
Then i get fireworks staff so my kid is a wizard/mage.
Then.. i remember that wind path have portals to other realm..

Put all that together i have backstory for my kid..
A junior guardian realm that live in hub between realms.. he patrol other realms to make sure everything alright.. but most of the time he spent his time flying around the hub.

she would finally know what had happened to them. to all of them. they were here. her friends were here. all of these statues, these children- they were here all along. and she would save them, once and for all.

My skid’s background is simple. Ever since she landed, she was too shy to to interact with others. As a result, she flies solo most of the time. The only exception is when she needs help with opening doors and such. She usually befriends people when they help her through trials. She’ll send them gifts (the candle thingy in the constellation) but won’t interact with them otherwise. It’s like wishing them well on their journeys while she continues hers mostly alone.

You either get 2.5 or 3.5 ac depending on how difficult its deemed, doesn't matter if you burn and gather all the memory shards or just sit around, as long as you pick up one memory piece, you get the same amount.

The starlight desert is an extension part of vault..... all red shards are found I the extension parts of their respective areas. I have no idea why you would ask for help then question the answer tbh

Yup, it's by the Star Collector's boat in Starlight Desert. It's considered a part of the Vault of Knowledge realm, which is why it says that the shards are there. It's all a part of one greater area.

it’s a wax event in the sunny forest, at 30 minutes past the hour starting at reset and occurring every other hour after that, the questgiver from season of belonging (grandma belonging) sits at the table in the sunny forest and spawns wax balls that u can burn starting at :35 and lasting till :45 depending on ur reset time is when it will happen, so for me since reset is at 3am the event will occur at every odd numbered hour, so at 3:30, 5:30, 7:30, etc—if reset occurs an an even numbered hour for u then it will be at every even numbered hour

I beat my record of getting 14 candles today :D I had to Shepherd 3 moffs as well so my hands were sweaty before I reached pnr! They helped each other and we managed, ||but the poor things missed a few statues. Then 2 of them got caught in the cycle of hiding in a poor place with the shrine and constantly get hit and trying to relight one another. :(||

It's also important to note that reset time is dependent on your time zone, it resets on midnight in some US time zone. But for example, I am in Europe, a nine hour time difference with the US time zone. Therefore, reset time isn't at midnight for me but at 9 AM. And geyser and grandma therefore happen at uneven hours for me (9 AM (reset), 11 AM, 1 PM and so on.

There's also YouTube videos with candle run routes. Good luck, I hope you're able to get more candles soon!

They are 2 events that happen at reset time.

Geyser is in sanctuary that happens at 5 mins past the hour and goes for 10 mins offering things to burn for wax.

Grandma is another event that happens in the forest (area where you get the underground cavern entrance. It's the tree with the table in it. This happens at 30mins past the hour but doesn't start til 35mins past the hour.
