Maybe I consider a veteran someone who can do the Trials without too much difficulty, who knows lots of OOBs and chibi falls, and who knows the maps inside out. I know the maps well but can't do trials and only a few oobs.

I just wish the Sky community had a good name for the "upper intermediate" category. Too bad Japan already uses sparrow for beginners, bc we could have 1. moth (newbie) 2. butterfly (advanced newbie or intermediate -- like knows stuff but still flies into walls lol), 3. sparrow (advaced intermediate, 4. veteran. But whatever.

Cozy, I survive being pulled apart by moths in bloom area

They were like, friending me and using up every bloom spell. And then every moth I friended kept grabbing my hand or pulling me here and there.

In the end they just sat down and poofed.

I usually run away from moths (my friends list is so full and idk what to do) but I let myself get friended this time x-x
I really don't know why tgc can't allow anymore friends per skid. May be something to do with servers handling all that data and, idk

So a couple weeks ago I got this plant growing kit... meant for children. Just a little plastic container with some dirt and chia seeds. And the dirt.... for some reason... has some gold colored stuff in it. And if you rub some of it between your fingers it leaves this metallic gold stuff on your fingers. Very fascinating. Anyways this is what I imagine the dirt in Sky looks like. Especially in daylight prairie.

For shards today here is a tip:
For those that like shepherding crabs, the key is that crabs only hang around in the area they were originally at (small radius) and then when you lure them out, you can by getting in front of them and then that area as a terrain where while the crab is charging, it will glide with you, and you can pull them out of their usual radius like the screenshot shows. Timing is everything but jumping helps if you are low on wings and need a quick recharge via the clouds and/or your prop!

I didn't have a prop, so I used clouds To recharge my wings. As for the crabs, this is closer to the side of the ship in Jellycove, but other places won't have clouds. This is one method, but it requires working together. 🙂

Bloom returns every year, so there's no stress in buying both at once i suggest whichever cape you have more outfits for so it's more versatile! If you have a more red wardrobe or no red capes, tulip is better. If you have a more elegant wardrobe like green or white cosmetics or don't have a green cape, arum is better!

It's called "Warframe"! There was an update of a new warframe and a game node.

The new warframe is ink/art-themed. she seems to have some cool abilities and I spent the whole night trying to get her components.
The new game node to get her components from was... Scary. Like I was put in a horror game. I keep screaming "Bendy and the ink machine's my therapist and they want me dead! I'm running! Running like heck!!! 😭" (Game mode is essentially you trying to find paint in an abandoned area and this unkillable game boss comes after you)

Depends on player, some ppl dislike the map because the layout is confusing, so they avoid the area.
(which is understandable because the map suppose to look broken, tho it could annoy some player.)

There so much wax you can get, from the scattering shard and candles. The broken shard location is randomise everyday (which is where the fun is imo, hunting shard) but dw, there are multiple equipment u can use to make it easier, like Light Finder.

For me, I just didn't enjoy the challenge of the actual objective of Lightmending, which is basically a big game of hide-and-seek. Honestly if I wanted wax in the area, I'd just go in to get the wax and then leave without finishing. 😅

Honestly I still haven't unlocked all the quests, and my vibe towards that right now is "uugghhhh". But I'm gonna do it before season ends. At least the quests aren't actually quests; they're just progressive unlocking of new tools

Also speaking of lightmending.. yeah I’m not a big fan of it either I think the concept is nice for a new routine instead of just candle running but the seasonal quests felt kind of.. very fast and the lack of explaining made me very confused. And I wish there were more features to help with looking for shards I don’t really like going around the whole map after the quest is over for the found shard bits

I say Remembrance did that balance really well. Introducing shared spaces while incorporating that in the quests where we decorate the spirits’ personal nooks. It just tied in rlly well for me

also I'm not sure if events would suffice enough for us to learn and get used to the new mechanics, since 2 week window isn't a lot for such massive new mechanics such as dyes etc. Most of time events offer simpler mechanics or limited time activities and that's it

If nesting had been an event, players would miss any opportunities to learn and build their nest entirely as well

Seasons are built in a way where new players can slowly learn and build up their knowledge on the mechanics via the quests. A 2 week event would make players "rush" to learn which isn't great

Sometimes seasons don't offer stories and that's OK. Crafting stories to tie into mechanics or seasonal content require a lot of collaboration, so it's normal for certain departments to focus on some seasons, and others build new mechanics and challenges

Also I hate the idea of calling newer seasons "Dead" simply bc they don't offer any stories ^^

Also gotta say, I love how in two embers the Last City was made to be permanently accessible with plenty of activities and wax sources to revisit, this pretty much solves the "story seasons being pretty much over after completing quests without any relevant activities" issue

Blue Bird was cool and all, but there isn't as much incentive to revisit the quests or areas themselves aside from pretty picture opportunity

At the same time I do find it nice for a quiet seasonal area for me to relax in, like 9CD

I guess I understand why migration and lightmending had a pretty much toned down quests (I must say, props to tgc for efforts of coding the procedural generated maps for LM), they've done a lot lot of work for Two Embers P1, down to the cinema and the details in the Last City

it'd be really cool if tgc made it a practice to fix the bugs that decreased QOL before fixing the bugs that players could exploit for advantages

cause at the very least it'd force them to fix bugs faster and allow players to enjoy a buff for a moment, while also giving a firm deadline for the end of the bug so players aren't too bummed out when it's patched

Wait wait i dont understand the logic? I remember when there was a bug that is Very exploitable, where you could get more seasonal candles than you should etc, and that pretty much an emergency bug because it offered an unfair advantage and tos violating. So it makes sense for tgc to quickly fix these bugs to maintain a fair gameplay. I personally disagree with that notion that you mentioned

My friends and community I'm in are very much against cheating so that's where I'm from

They've fixed emergency QoL decreasing bugs as well, remember the Aviary reset bug xD

And I do see tgc prioritising bugs based on how it affects gameplay. Like they fixed the lightmending cutscene freeze bug within just one patch between 32.5 and 32.7

So I'm assured that tgc would fix the random freezing bug within the next update or so. They've been very on hands for bug fixes lately
