alrighty, so if you use satellite view and historical imagery (iirc specifically 2005, range is between 2009 iirc and 1999) and go to the beach north of the opening to get into the harbor for Coos Bay Oregon, you can see the stern of the New Carissa in the surf

theres an article on wikipedia about it not surprisingly

the stern remained on the shore till they FINALLY got it sorted as to who was to take care of it in 2009 (10 years after she ran aground)

i may or may not have done a lot of shipwreck finding via satellite instead of doing school work last year

but a couple years ago i found the boiler of the J Marhoffer using satellite view , but they updated the imagery the next year and its much harder to find now

i think historical imagery from 2022? is where the good view is, northern side of Boiler Bay (yes it is in fact, named for that boiler)

i just did 2 krill dodges in wasteland very nonchalantly, first in graveyard, then helped a moth in crab fields, and then performed the second dodge in battlefield and almost got ko’d by a third krill but broke lock using the spear next to the door

first dodge was definitely the most nonchalant, i finished burning the plant i was burning and collected the dye, then took off and went “see ya loser” and dodged the krill with no problem

If you're willing to take some liberties with Sky's typical naming for creatures, you can also use English terms that refer to combinations/balances of light and dark/shadow or also purity and corruption, or even terms from other languages.
If you're thinking of leaning closer towards skid qualities and "Child of __", you can use the above

alr i did half, i melted 10 darkness and relived a spirits memory in wasteland, also i feel bad, there was a person with a spirit guide request who walked up to me and tried to light me after i landed near them and i closed the game after looking at them for about 5-10 seconds

Idk, but I just want to write this here
I was rewatching Enhypen UNTOLD cinema, and in a credit scene, there's a piano melody that eventually becomes a part of the intro of XO (Only If You Say Yes), the title track song that was released around a year ago.
Idk why, but my mind is projecting this in Sky.
Like, I imagine back when Season of Duets, where that Concert hall was still nothing but emptiness and messed up with darkness, someone who's a guitarist just came in.
Then they saw a piece of shared memory in the middle of the stage. They play it, revealing a memory of a pianist playing that piano melody. It makes this person like they missed the moment when they play with their musical partner, along with another who's a violinist (I try to figure out which instrument comes at this credit scene song).
A musical trio, in the Concert Hall, back in the day, that's filled with people, and even Duets couple, mesmerize at their performance.
They come near the projected memory, sit beside the pianist like they used to, harmonizing and remembering the past.
At the end of the song... It all disappeared after the guitarist picked the last string, back to the reality of loneliness after it was gone.
It's all just a memory.

Back in the day, when the daily quest animation still there before it got removed, there is an animation where the elder eye in the realm shine, indictes the quest was in that realm after we press the " ! " from the shrine in old home

it did at the time, i havent seen them in years, also i just remembered something, i friended someone after dueling for a while with them on hostile skies. like not even joking this was the freakin Ace Combat Zero Pixy boss fight at the end of the game, pretty much if not absolutely perfectly matched, and the only factor deciding who won or lost on that spawn in was who got accurate rounds off first, got the drop on the other, turned/evaded better or well enough, and most importantly: the plane they were in. we were fighting each other in the literal best planes the game had to offer for each team: the P-36 vs the HE-112, with the 112 having a slightly worse turn rate. i dont remember who really won, i think they did. who won honestly doesnt matter because i friended them for that honorable and legendary battle

pretty sure that was the only time i ever met my match on the game, or at least this was the longest and most memorable battle with someone at a similar skill level

you're not wrong at all to want to help. In fact, it's awesome that you're trying to help however much you can!

the advice from your friend is only correct in certain situations where helping without having the ability to help will be directly harmful for the other person — like if someone's doing mathematical integration and you tell them an answer while having no clue how integration works, or if you see a firefighter trying to put out a fire and jump in to do their job when you have no clue about what to do. And it's easy to see when it's a situation like that.

But when you have the ability to help to any extent and you make good use of that and try to help, then you're an awesome person even if you fail. A firefighter that dies trying to save people is a hero, a doctor that risks their own reputation to try and save a patient even when the chances of success are low is an amazing person even if the operation isn't a success, and even an ordinary person or a videogame player that's trying to help others to the best of their abilities — even if they end up being unsuccessful — is a true gem!
