It has a button on its flipper that when you squeeze it, it squeaks or chirps

aster, im pretty sure there are games with a single boss that is so awful to fight it deserves the bad review so others know about it, theres also bosses or missions or what have you that have extremely jank mechanics, in fact i can name one right now! the final boss of Legend Of Zelda Phantom Hourglass. you have to draw on the screen to even get anywhere in the fight, and also you use the touch screen to move… which leads to you moving a little whilst drawing

There's a big difference between complaining about one mechanic that is relevant throughout the whole game, and One Boss that is only a tiny portion of its game
Or is the drawing not at all a thing outside its boss?

It's fair to warn other players "this boss sucks and i don't think it's fun"
Saying the whole game isn't worth it as a result though ? That is the part that feels extreme to me

I mean hell, i can say for hollow knight that Pantheon 5 is in my opinion utterly miserable to play through, it has an ending behind it and is one of the things i hate the most across all the games i played

Honestly a giant difficulty spike ruining a first playthrough is valid and i can see leaving a bad review as a result
Either because it walled you, or just stunted your enjoyement too hard to appreciate what came after
If you're still willing to go for however many more playthroughs after though, feels weird to leave a negative review over it

in this game i did every mission for, Air Combat Pilot WW2 Pacific (yes thats actually the name, its surprisingly good), theres 2 missions that if i am remembering my experience right, are the hardest in the game. first one was you had to destroy iirc at least 200 structures and are locked to only using the P-47 Thunderbolt. ||[side note: i have made some IAPs, one of which being the Corsair you get with gold, and i fully upgraded that and demolished the majority of the game with it due to its absurd speed and bomb count, like it was stronger than the P-47 which makes no hecking sense]|| i died i think at least 10 times? and was stuck on it for just a few days before i finally punched through and completed it iirc. the OTHER hard mission is legitimately iirc the actual hardest in the entire game, so much so that other people were saying in reviews they got stuck on it. its an escort mission where you support 3 B-25 Mitchells and youre locked to using the P-38 Lightning, which irl was a really good plane, but in this however, it SUCKS. i was stuck on that mission for not even joking at least a MONTH. but in the end i was able to persevere and barely break through the mission, and went on to complete the game

also i just remembered a sorta hard mission where you had to escort some B-29s and were locked to the P-51. it was kinda hard, but legitimately 4 notches easier than the other 2 missions

i specifically replied to that message because this game is literally what i was referring to with the message

oh hey i just remembered another hard mission that was in between the B-29 escort mission and the P-47 vs 200 structures mission in terms of difficulty. it was a mission where you werent locked to any planes iirc, so i went with my fully upgraded corsair. the mission is destroying an enemy base, and oh dear god theres so much AA in that small ish area i died quite a few times before getting it done

(while listening to “From the Ashes” by Gamma Ray might i add)
