Teth AKA Forest Elder would take their big blacksmithing hammer and bonk Hikari over the head with it if they strolled up yammering about stealing all of the Light in the kingdom. They didn’t get caught in the explosion of the Eden diamond undergoing the Sky equivalent of a nuclear meltdown, and get trapped inside that void-space in their temple for an indeterminate amount of time, for some arrogant Sky Kid to just decide that they get to become a Light singularity and hoard all of it for themselves.

HSHS all of this is super funny for me, for further context, the Elder is containing their urge because the Elders are about to imprision Hikari which is why they just want to get to it and not waste any time by bonking them in the head or anything XD (Not to mention that this is right after Hikari was executed in Eden to make them lose all the light they stole)

Only their Temple cutscene. They’re much more calm and respectful when you summon them in Orbit. And it wasn’t done out of malice. Teth uses it to finally assemble the diamond that crumbles in their hand at the start of their cutscene. Then they use that diamond to power the big gold contraption in the Temple ceiling, which opens the gates the Mantas are behind, as well as the doors leading out of the temple towards that little clearing that leads to Valley.

They weren’t being a jerk on purpose, simply very overeager and grabby upon realizing you had what they needed in order to complete their project.

Honestly, if the tone was a little bit different, I could 100% see it on Vault Elder? I think something along the lines of:

“ ‘Your pursuit of extermination is completely unforgivable.’ Though the Elder of the Vault did not move, nor did they raise their voice beyond a steady tone, the cold venom in their voice was unmistakable.”

As it is, though, I could probably most likely see it on Forest Elder. They seem to be more of the brash, hot-tempered type. Wasteland could be a contender, but I also feel like they’re in-between - powerful, but fairly level-headed.

Yeah honestly, I only use the shovel to whack someone or bury them (for my undertaker skyoc). Otherwise the shovel isn't that interesting.

Maybe yeah they could link the shovel to digging up vines. May not even need to equip it, our skids will always have a shovel around hidden in our inventory.

tbh the more important thing is to make sure to have at least 2 AC spare for new TS you don't have the buff of yet

the early days of doing WLR after eden running is rough cuz you don't have a lot of built up perma buffs and gotta run longer to build back up, that contributes a fair bit to burnout

but yeah kephi I would just recommend only eden running if you feel motivated + have the time + maybe have a friend to go with

I solo eden run every week but I have like 127 buffs after being reborn so my WLR is really easy to get back up to 150 (since that's the minimum I need to get around the game) I just casually pick them up on the way of my normal CR afterward and it gets there without too much work

shards are also a great low effort AC collection method that's less repetitive than eden runs since they change location regularly

I've mentioned this before but the way I make sure I have all the statues in part 1 and 2 is I just do a lil math to what the last number in my WL count is when I enter PNR
it's always -3 and +2

e.g. I have 153 WL
first section: need a 0 (3-3=0)
end of second section before unsheltered endless rock rain: need a 5 (3+2=5)

and that's how I know I got every single statue in those parts then I just need to pay attention to what buttons I'm hitting
hence why part of it is get good because this method only works if you don't lose a single WL to the rocks during the run

also fun fact: with presumably Bereft Veteran - though any Remembrance spirit other than Pleading Child would hold this true - we just need two more wing buffs or winged light for 13th wedge to be possible

Granted even when we get that last wing buff, it’ll take ages for people to get there even if they go to Eden and claim it right on the day the last needed wing buff comes out, since shard memories are Sky’s second worst gamble
