I honestly liked the Avian Village, it's cute to see the spirits interacting with each other, and it gives Sky a more alive look, since before you never saw the spirits after you saved them, except in Orbit.

I have my spawn point at my nest whenever I log into the game, but before it was in the village itself, and I always spawned at the altar when I started, as far as I remember.

I honestly think the Aviary is superior to the old home because I can see the spirits interacting with each other, and things are much more comfortable there, like the clothing store, which allows you to put together outfits and walk around the store with them, something the old Home doesn't have.

I once helped a moth get the spirit it needed on the Prairie, and it wanted to be my friend, which I accepted. I was doing Candle Run, so I decided to take him along too (he had male hair, so I'll use male pronouns), to help him advance in the game.I took him to the cave in the Prairie, but he started honking, so I thought he wanted the Guru emote, but he kept honking. I thought about taking him to the fire to tell me what he wanted, but he let me go and offered me his hand, I took it, and he made me walk all the way back to the Prairie social area. I thought he was going to talk to me on the bench, so I lit the candle and sat down, but he left the game right away without saying anything to me. That was mine Strange Experience With A Moth

if they add potions that would permanently grow u or shrink u then id bother with heights but due to me making skykid ocs i just dont use resizes

like at most ive used resizes few times and just stuck with the height im at and not use any resizes i get

Is for the best, since those are truly wild cards. I just used a bunch of them because I had them rot in my inventory since Shattering Visit and during this, my Skykid went into both sizes 0 and 13.

if ur curious about the whole system pretty much the moths in our au aka me and my best friends sky au they will always be chibi and after some years they would grow to get their colored cape but theres also a small tiny chance where their mask will be stuck to their faces completely and they will be stuck as a chibi instead of growing in sizes

thats how i kinda negate things with short skykid ocs and tall skykid ocs

all my chibis will well have chibi masks and all my tall skykid ocs will have whatever mask more often than not tho can perhaps have maskless if they feel like not having a mask on

i think they'll be expanding the dye functionality in future updates
maybe for now they're still thinking of the limitations to how much you can dye the basegame outfits without deviating too far from sky's core aesthetic

Yeah in beta a dev said they're still committing to the core sky aesthetic bc those are what makes up sky The Sky. Same reason why they clarified that the DoC hair tints were just for fun

And i'd rather not see yet another reason for new moths to feel like the game doesn't welcome them

i'd assume the most you can dye for the basegame capes is the interior since the exterior is already a solid color
and i doubt you can change the whole color of the basegame cape since like
you already have so many recolors of the same cape

I figured from the Keynote that during furniture would be first. I’m probably not going to commit to dye plants the way I do for shards. Just hard to schedule for me with grad school between dailies, treasure candles, shards & events already.
