Pretty sure the idea with the season, especially with the cosmetics and quest format, is that it’s Skykids reading the story of Moomin and getting super invested in it, imagining themselves as a “fly on the wall” (the butterfly) in the story. So having cosmetics not necessarily be in line with lore, but more inspired by aspects of the tale makes a lot of sense Also invisibility is pretty cool

I had a spare gift pass since early Duet. I barely managed to get a friend to accept my offer for Moomin and it made me wonder if it's the norm to agree between each other who to gift who.

Context on my main skykid in my sky au
Their name is Astreos and due to the odd circumstances of their birth, they are born with two halves of a soul with other half not even being theirs. That half of their soul belongs to a certain fallen ruler and yeahhhh it's had some effects on them.
Most important effect is that that they got a body roommate that calls themselves Asteris who's basically a mostly amnesiac version of that fallen ruler with a lingering sense of trauma and guilt but aren't sure from where exactly.

Also they have a 50/50 of having a nightmare every time they sleep, it's like resize potion gambling except WORSE
