My headcanon: The Valley of Triumph used to be a poor fishing village. Slums basically, if it weren't for the Valley elder twins.

The twins themselves used to be just ferrymen carrying cargo front and back, which connected Forest (a realm heavy with resource) and GW (a realm known for marketplaces and most of any business-related matters)

Then the twins started to make little games between themselves like racing. Some people started to place bets, and nothing like placing bets to see who's the best racers gets some money flowing in :3

Admittedly, even if I do kind of understand (I know my mom can’t physically look at snakes because she has a phobia of them), I also don’t entirely understand because my own phobias don’t seem to work that way for me, personally speaking.

Like for example, mice are something I’m admittedly afraid of. Show me a picture of a mouse, and I’ll think it’s cute! Plant a mouse on the floor in front of me, and I’ll be climbing the nearest chair to get away.
(Though I guess context matters in that situation, because it only seems to be wild mice I’m afraid of… hmm. Maybe not the best example.)

Oh I see. I have the layout set with it split in half, with one series of notes stacked on the left, and the other series of notes stacked on the right. I like it because it splits it into two octaves, one that needs the left hand buttons, and the second octave needing the right hand buttons lol

Do note that getting 20 each day is a lot of work for not that much reward compared to like 18
20 is 50% more wax than 18 because of how scaling goes
Only do 20 if you geniunely enjoy the grind, otherwise you're likely to just burn yourself out

guys i may be cooked... i currently have 377 candles and i plan to spend around 380 (from predicted trees) on shattering spirits, as well as having at least 200 backup for the forgetful storyteller as theyre in the ts pool now, and i only collect 10-15 candles per day now im back at school... why couldnt the season end before shattering event so i can have my seasonals converted as backup

Best bet u could do is play max of 1 hour or 30 minutes on the game and focus on geyser or grandma so you would have at least 15 candles

Guys u should learn skips for trials. Trust me it would save ur life. U could get 15 candles from all of them (if u exclude water trial) u would still get a good amount

had to look up how much wax you need per candle and how much is in trials, but prophecy cave wax + the wax from trials = 679 pieces of light. still a good chunk of wax, but that's only 6 candles, if you do it very first thing before gathering any other wax at all

You can use it anywhere! It’s just that putting it in a shared space saves it for as long as that lasts, whereas the course outside of a shared space only lasts as long as you’re there, I think.

It’s considered a classic! It’s not really got an overarching plot, it’s more so just a series of little stories. But from what I understand, it has a reputation for getting quite dark and melancholy by the end of it.

And not all of them are! The Moomins themselves look like hippos, you have Sniff, who’s kind of like a kangaroo, and some animal-like characters around like the Muskrat, but there are also more humanoid characters around like Snufkin. And I think even straight-up humans, which really threw me for a loop when I read Comet. As well as some who I wouldn’t really fit into either, like the Hemulens (not human, but not really animal-like) or the Hattifatteners (little ghosty things with permanent jazz hands).
