Team Forest has been ahead every day, every event so far. It's kind of discouraging that the results don't seem to change each day (Note: I'm not taking the games that seriously, I just think it's lame that this is how things are going)

Well, you don't necessarily need to - you can get the resize potions from spirits too (I think it's seasonal spirits only, not sure).

Three uses of the Resize potion cost 10 . Depending on your strategy and skill, you can coax up to 15.75 out of Eden every week; in addition to Eden Shards, which can grant you an extra 2.5-3.5 each. If you perceive this as "grinding", I'd advise you to shift your priorities; Sky is not a game with immediate feedback and rapid stimulation. It's a slow-burn.

I've noticed two things at least: Maneuverability feels slightly different (Perhaps. Take with a grain of salt from me ) But I'm 100% sure it reduces your slowdown in flap mode when you fall for long distances after sliding off a ledge

Personally the way i see it is this
If a game feature breaks the game's balance, it's the game's fault
If a bug, hack or something similar breaks balance, then i blame the user
It's like if i play a pvp game and lose to someone just using the meta, i won't call them a cheater even if the meta is overwhelmingly advantageous

they need to find a way to have the fun without the competition somehow, or at least less so that less people are encouraged to be super competitive

I don't think there's harm in the games themselves, but the setup and the approach could be done a lot differently
like maybe, instead of in teams it's just competing for yourself, because in teams there's more pack mentality type stuff which is a really big contributor to the stress

the teams being themed off the realms with elder representatives was also a terrible idea because at least with say, just colors or general sky-themed symbols (team heart, team handhold, team candle, team WL....) you don't have a proper "favorite" you're skewed toward

Before i learned those glitches, I get sad too often in vault when people don't stop to help. I'm just a solo moff. But after learning this, i wait at the door, and if no one helps, then i glitch in. That way, i don't feel as sad anymore when people ignore my call for help

Red shard is still accessible for another two and a half hours if anyone needs it. I don't necessarily need it, but my alt does if it wants to be the tallest wingless you've ever seen
Plus I hypothesize that the saxophone, when it eventually comes back, will be worth AC. No evidence for this, just a gut feeling.

As a moth I lost WL the first time I sat at the treehouse map shrine because I didn't realize it wasn't sheltered from the rain

Treehouse goes easier if you arrive in advance. Consult the skyshards page, shownup 2 or 3 minutes before, and you should be treated to the sight of multiple other skykids settling in to wait with you. It's still a bit of work, but it's better with help

the crabs with red shards on them are unflippable. You deep call to attract their attention then just jump out of the way when they charge to get them to be far away from the phase 2 part

There's one time i was server merged with someone and both of us were sharing the same braincell. One would do the luring job and the other would burn. Very good teamwork I'd say, but the funny thing is both of us were doing the same thing at the same time. I act as bait and they were also doing it. Once i realized, i changed to burning and they coincidentally also thought I would keep up the baiting and they burn

im reminded of when me and another person were doing the bird nest red shard, and i swear the rocks had it out for me - they broke my shield, shaved off a surprising amount of WL, and i used to laugh emote to show the other person i was okay after i could actually get out of stunlock (and then they laughed too )

luckily i was already going to run forest that day, so i could get my shield fixed asap

BARELY....but it's always because im left without a choice because i just won't merge before or during it, only after. i end up relying on shared memories and spaces, light potions, my mask, and my light props, but i can do it.

it's to do with how close you are to the crabs also, they need to have line of sight and they don't notice as well if there's like, a slope situation they're on

The main issue with solo shard clearing is the light collection part. If you miss enough light, you get less AC. And that timer is painfully short when you're trying to dodge crystals and spinning back to collect light that spawned nearly across the map
It's why Treehouse is the worst, because you have to burn plants again and you're on a very short timer! And sometimes the game just doesn't let the plants burn!

the other thing I recommend is an elder mask, because those prevent crabs from knocking you over you can just keep walking
you still take the same amount of damage but the knockback resistance is handy

Krill dodging can be sone as simply as waiting for the blinking eye, then that momentary silence is when you flap to the side quickly enough. Krill will fly in a straight swooping path so they can miss.

gahhhh....some advice from a professional wasteland stuntskid though: if a krill locks on and charges while you're in the air, nosedive. while not a guarantee youll be safe, that's the most reliable way ive dodged them be it after aggroing them on purpose or accidentally.

and the first krill in wasteland you just need to beat past the gate to the four krill area, it'll sharply stop and path back to its patrol route without doing damage
