so I somehow gained two friends that day???

at least back in 2022, there used to be a glitch where you could select the pencil icon that appeared when someone added another player as a friend...

and by selecting that pencil icon, you could set the nickname for your usurped new friend

but for this time around, it was the typical button that prompts you to add a nickname to a player after you complete a friend request

so, it's still on the fence if it was a glitch or a hack (initiated by another player, that is)

I think I got my switch 2019 but i hated using it- and then it broke and wouldn't charge at all

For that one specifically all you'd need to do is <t:TIMESTAMP> which sets it to showcase it in [R]elative <t:TIMESTAMP:R>, and you'd just replace the R with whatever showcase you want, e.g. Long Date + Time / Short Date + Time = F/f, Long Date / Long Time = D/d ect, there's a bunch of documentation online but that's the basics, and you can find an epoch time converter to grab your timestamp online as well

Vault only has two areas for it’s shards, red are always in Jellyfish Cove, and black are always in the main Starlight Desert Unless TGC ever decides to rework the shard system and add in new locations, it’ll stay that way. I highly recommend it if you like flying in Sky. The flying is very fluid, and it's made by Snowman who worked on Alto's Odyssey.

Laya's Horizon puts all the emphasis on the flight, whereas in Sky, your flying is constantly interrupted by stopping to light candles. In Laya's Horizon, you only hit the ground when you finish a flight run. You can do super fast races, as well as play tag with birds.

People earlier around this server (who haven't played the game) for some reason claimed that Netflix (the publisher) "copied" Sky, but this game was in development before Sky came out, and had different inspiration (they wanted to capture the experience of flying in wingsuit). It was developed from 2018-2023. Netflix has also published other games from other mobile indie studios like Desta from ustwogames (which made Monument Valley)

Also in that game, the capes are not just cosmetic but change your flying abilities – like super fast boost and more

I found a moth in the forest, stumbling in the rain and losing wing light. I flew down and lit them, and guided them to shelter. Then I carried on with my run. As I'm running off, I see that Friend icon pop up.
This may sound a little mean, but I don't friend every moth I come across when they offer. The majority of my block list is moths that stopped playing after a week.
This little forest moth didn't take no for an answer. When they realized I was ignoring them, the little fiend stepped back out into the rain and let themself go out. I had to run back to help them, and they refused to leave the rain until I accepted the candle.
It reminded me of those videos of people standing in front of vehicles trying to get hit for insurance, so I called them Forest Fraud
And I haven't seen them online in over a month, so I was right

The Prairie Peaks ones are kinda fun once you get a good path figured out. (and you have enough wing buffs to start with more than 5 wedges)
Get the one on the pillar, then get into the clouds to go to the peak itself, then dive at heartstopping speeds to go get the one down in the crystal caverns.
The dive is the best part skykid go fast

My route for Prairie Peaks is the closest one, then the mountain, then the one in the cave. There's am underwater entrance to the left that gets you straight to the WL
It's still quite time consuming for me though, so I've been avoiding it for the time being

Yeah i really like the locations in prarie peaks! Especially the wl wayyyyy up high lol. The layout of the entire map in general is very good too

I always do Peaks in the order of pillar - cave - peak! So it ends with the dive.

I'd also say the wls in forest is pretty nice, save for a few stragglers (wl in treehouse im looking at you)

The wls in wasteland are the worst because they always require you to set yourself up in a certain place and you have to keep stopping

Prairie peaks is a BEAUTY of scenery ngl. A bit on the brighter side, as usual, but I think it's the prettiest Prairie Realm place

I kind of wish flying across was slightly more interesting, but it's prettier than Starlight Desert, and I love how challenging the WLs are to get! The peak WL really tests your cloud-riding skills.

Taking a group running for wing light in wasteland is Stressful. You have to sit and wait to make sure your buddies grabbed the light too, and the krill is circling closer and closer
Going alone is kinda fun for me. A little speed challenge.

WLs are kind of really easy to me, to be honest. Graveyard especially, I have a set pattern for that makes it surprisingly clean to get through.

Still, though, both my nemeses exist there...

I'd say if you have a route in pnr it's doable in 90-100. But you'd have to go slow. And maybe take the shortcut

There's no minimum for me. I get every wing light possible, because I have a habit of misjudging the rock falls and whoops, there goes 4 light! Can't get up fast enough? Whoops , there's 4 more!
Eden is unforgiving, I go in when I have every last one on the map

Once you get enough wing buffs it'll get to a point where those mistakes don't matter anymore because you'll always make it to the endless rock fall, at which point you'll lose it all anyways

This... this looks impossible nowadays. Unless you have one of those lucky runs where, not only you didn't get hit at all in the beginning, but also somehow skipped all of the rocks perfectly up to the last three statues. Literal miracle
