Been playing for a little less than 3 months now, totally get ya there. Of course there are still some cosmetics or items I'm bummed about (seemingly at least) not being able to own myself, but most of the time i like to look at those cosmetics as a way to mark time. Seeing currently available cosmetics as options for me while looking at other older cosmetics as almost a time capsule to get a glimpse at other players' history in Sky.

Doesn't always help, but makes those things I can't get more of a fascinating thing to see rather than a missed opportunity for myself if that makes any sense. It's 4am so words aren't wording too well

Sky is pretty generous in regards to allowing for catch up on past stuff- only ults and IP cosmetics are really time-gated, as well as anniversary year specific items. The TS system (despite its flaws) allows you to obtain past seasonal cosmetics eventually. Ults also were stated long ago to be allowed to return, just they haven’t done so yet.

Only big glaring problem about the travelling spirit system to me is that they keep adding spirits, How many years and years would one have to wait for their favorite spirit or a specific cosmetic.

Basically I thought that the candle costs increased indefinitely not a per day thing, So if you wanted to get any candles above 200 or so on you'd have to grab all the wax from a daily candle run to make it.

I had a super friendly interaction with randos in the graveyard who I was about to befriend after they did the Pleaful Parent while I guided them to the meditation spot.

My Steam Deck's sound slowly started making harsh noises that gradually got worse until it officially froze, made a mid-pitch glitch sound, and vertical rectangles appeared on it. And that happened the exact moment I was getting my friend code to add my (would be) new friends. I also heard what seemed to be the fan turning loudly.

Unplugged it. Let it sit for a few minutes, then it turned on again just fine.

Still... I hope the players I interacted with who we mutually helped each other out still know I didn't mean to disappear at such a timing. They won't know what happened... sigh

Imagine every time you do eden, the clothes and cosmetics you wore going there is locked. The only way to wear them again is to pay the same amount of currency you paid them with.

Also no the candle prices are set. They don't increase. But each day, you can realistically collect 20. Easiest way is through the big 3 (Geyser-Grandma-Turtle).

Then other alternative options is by picking up your daily bun at the cafe, playing the music sheet challenge, or the Passage assignments.

Most of the rest are picked up naturally as you race about the realms. Preferably go the realm that is boosted (meaning extra candles on that day, indicated by two red ones at the sides of the portal).

Can confirm, after having just done it solo (since the game didn't server-merge) today; patience and a lookout for hiding spots are both very important.
The chibi mask might actually help too, since you're smaller so can more easily hide from the krills.

Good way to gain speed flying is using clouds that you can get near as jump pads, Dive into them in a way and flap just as you're coming out of the cloud mist and keep the wing power while going 2 times as fast.

The one and only time I ran Pleaful successfully, my friend just parked me at the "complete" area and took on the Krill/spirit by herself. Somehow she didn't get bonked once and I have no idea how she did it (I do, she regularly practices Krill Dodge but I find them next to impossible to do on Switch).

Loaf : this refers to the position cats sometimes make when they hide their legs while sitting, we call that a loaf (the word originally refers to round chunks of bread, so because the shape is similar it got used for cats)
Bouncing around : just means bouncing aimlessly, jumping and jumping and jumping

I usually find it easier to just go through Prairie and collect some wax along the way, especially if it's a cake day in Prairie. But if it's not the first stop of the day and your home is set in Aviary, I could see Wind Paths maybe being a tiny bit faster. Not sure, though.

Some wax sources are inconsistent or not always available
The max in theory is 22 (without dailies at least), but that's like the entire game's worth of wax
Someone did it during days of fortune (because the fortune dragon helped), took them more than 10h
So the reasonable max without dailies is somewhere between 21 and 22

Don't forget, though, there's an entrance to the Wind Paths over in the Aviary, so as long as your home is there, it's actually quite accessible. More so than going through Forest.

The Paths are easier to learn than you might think! Left to right, they lead to: Forest's underground Caverns, Hermit Valley, Forgotten Ark, Starlight Desert, Sanctuary Islands, and Cave of Prophecies. Each entrance has an outside that evokes the aesthetic of their particular area. Sanc is the entrance with the floating islands with the pools of water on them.

Once you unlock the slipstream, it goes from right to left, so just reverse the order I listed.

Going from right to left: Cave of Prophecy's entrance is the one with the light beige and cavernous-looking entrance. Skipping Sanc, Starlight Desert is the most plain-looking, but as soon as you get close to it, it takes on a purple hue. (There's also a candle cake nearby if you leave the slipstream near there to the left.) Forgotten Ark takes on a green hue, and has dead vegetation in front of it. Hermit Valley has some snowy islets by it. I don't remember what the underground cavern entrance looks like, but so long as you remember that's the last stop in the slipstream, you should be good.

To get full access to the Wind Paths, you need to complete at least three quests in Flight Guide's spirit tree. Completing the questline gives you access to the slipstream for faster (and easier) travel through the paths, as well as opening an entrance up in the Aviary.

If it's any reassurance to you, Forgotten Ark is probably the safest place in Wasteland you can land in. There's no crabs nearby, and the only krill in the map you actively have to go out of your way to encounter even if you're walking through from the boat. Plus it's not easy to drift into Ark, I've noticed. Sometimes I have to struggle a bit to actually get into that particular exit.
