Honestly my main gripe with air trial is that getting to the platform with the meditation shrine is absolutely dumb
There's a wind wall right in the way and you have to essentially guess where it is
Much better and easier to outright skip that part and throw yourself towards the end

It’s seems flying back and forth would be faster to fly out of trial, but more difficult and angles matter more or you’ll hit the wall

And faster, so much faster but you cant aim too far on the last platform either! You'll hit that exact same windwall

a friend of mine actually recently showed me some earlier solo skips for air trial that each skipped 15-20% of the trial, so you can skip a good 60% of it if you can master all three of them :0

When i say last platform i mean the one with the light child and candles on it
You can't really overshoot that one because you gotta angle yourself so much differently and so far up to even make it there honestly
Closet i got to overshooting it was losing control of myself after landing and sliding off

Personally how i do it is i angle the camera up and to the right using the last wind "cannon" that's intended to shoot me to the meditation shrine
So my trajectory is like
Almost as far up as i can make it, and angled way off from the shrine

I use the last "jump pad" and right before i hit the peak of the boost i switch to glide mode and just aim for the ledge. Its worked every consistently for me

Well, here's the thing. I actually have a theory that the Flight picture is a trick. Because it would be weird for two pictures to work under the same mechanics (looking at a spirit's start point), but one to work under a different one entirely (in this case, looking from a spirit's start point), right? So my theory is, it's not actually focusing on Chimesmith's start point, but the end point of another spirit entirely. And Light Whisperer's route takes you to the island that's in the background.

I'll copy-paste my current hypothesis here so you all can see my thoughts.

-Each photo will work different mechanically.
-One will look towards the spirit's start point.
-One will be from the perspective of the spirit's start point.
-One will involve the end of the spirit memory. Either it will look towards it, or be from the perspective of the end point. (In this case, it may be looking towards.)
-There may be one or more trick photo to catch out someone who's not fully thinking things through.
