I’ve trial run my route now despite some mistakes on my part and taking notes and unkind dailies adding up to 11 wasted minutes, I got to grey candle in 2 hours and 32 minutes This was after second Geyser and I hadn’t done second grandma. Making me think that 21 candles might not be that hard if you plan ahead.

So now I am considering redoing the route and removing a geyser visit and have it start with going to granny instead

It will! It just means you've kind of hit the soft cap for the day. You can technically maybe get another candle, but it's exceedingly difficult and not worth the while unless you're a fraction off. It'll be back to normal at reset.

So i talked about this like a month ago but I had an idea for a season, though of it forever ago. I’d call it Season of the Catalog, Season of Biology, or Season of Discovery. Idk. It would take place in Wasteland, no particular reason, and its a sort of empty Museum that you would help develop and fill out. Using the camera (Moments had not yet been revealed), you would go through all the realms and catalog the many different existing - and newly added to season - creatures of Sky, making exhibits for them in the Museum, and overall just discovering more about the ecosystem of the realms. It’d be very fun.

Just a little lore drop about Daímonas.

If Serena Woodsworth had decided to make Destiny if Light more dark, grim, adult, etc; Daímonas would have canonically attempted to kill Serena, they would have never gotten together after their battle, it would be a much more uneasy, maybe more uncomfortable book series if she had never decided to make it more for kids, less of a fairy tale for bedtime and more of a horror story to tell at the fireplace.

In canon, Daímonas really just leaves Serena alone, he doesn't really fully intend to hurt people unless they're in his way, try to stop him, or he sees they're insignificant. And even then, he more of pushes them away to intimidate rather than harm. He never hurts Serena on Purpose, he doesn't want to hurt her, nor anyone who is on her side. He still loves her, he just wants her to move.
Catbird being one acception since Catbird escaped from him and Daímonas really hates Catbird for a while

Yeah I could very well write this as an alternate universe as well, one that's less fun and entertaining, one that's more scary and deep.
The "Good Ending" au is in a way canon, just sort of a different timeline of events, since Prophecy is born much sooner and Daímonas changes his ways almost entirely from the start.

In the "Grim" au, he doesn't change, in fact he gets worse. At first he was just trying to nudge Serena aside. Now he's pushing, shoving, punching. He doesn't just want her to move, she needs to move, and she will move from in front of him no matter what happens now.

In this au, Daímonas is more aggressive than before, much more aggressive. Once he sees Catbird with Serena, his whole demeanor changes. He went from just seeking to rule the realms to actively making it happen. He isn't merciful to Moths like before, where he would scare and intimidate, but ultimately leave them alone. He now threatens and occasional promises to "Feed your light one by one to the krill.", to "Throw you into The Eye.", "Make you fear all beyond Daylight Prarie."

The Switch is just really old, outdated hardware at this point, not to mention being a low-powered portable console in the first place. The chipset it runs is nearly a decade old! It's why everyone speculates that Nintendo is making a new one this year, because games are really starting to struggle with technical limitations

how well switch ports run depends on a ton of factors, not the least of which are the original game's scope and the quality of the port itself. Sky does seem like a decent port overall but tbh the performance issues are a bit baffling to me, I'd be curious how Sky runs on 2015-era Android phones (since that would be the closest comparison)

I think for what it is it's a good handheld console, but it could definitely do with an upgrade, I really hope version 2 deals with a lot of the issues

I love mine too, I've had it since launch in 2017 - I remember camping out in front of a store for several hours to get it, since there were severe stock issues and it was nearly impossible to pre-order one (sounds kinda familiar...)

It's still going strong, surprisingly. But then I do like to tinker with my electronics, so I've opened it up and replaced the cooling system which has definitely helped it run cooler and more consistently

Isn't Shattering basically a "you legit had to be here" kind of season? You have no promise to relive the memories you want to relive, you physically cannot go back to the original social area, you can't see the season 'spirits', etc.

Honestly I feel blessed to have not only played through Shattering, but also finished Shattering entirely, I have all the ults

We love everything about it... the game style, the atmosphere, etc. Now we are trying to find more inspiration that we can use in our project. Speaking of Praying Acolyte- I wonder why they barricade the door to the grave- and I think I know why (just a theory btw)

I noticed Vault of Knowledge isn't contaminated with dark plants, maybe that grave area is a place to properly bury dead spirits, so dark plants won't be spreading and affect the vault- and the reason why it's locked, just in case dark plants is appearing, they can just seal the door and Praying Acolyte job is to pray for their fallen comrade and make sure that the spirits have a proper rest while keeping a lookout

I agree! Well, one point about it is that the Praying Acolyte also has their own grave in that cave. In the spirit's memory, they pray at all graves & the last grave that we see on the top of the cliff-like place is their grave because they are seen as a spark of light in the end. i have a friend i met a year ago as a moth, hes from japan, im from england, he played music for me in praire lobby for hours without chat unlocked, and bc of playing spirited away i named him haku, which he now goes by instead of the name he introduced himself to me as, i learned spirited away on my harp and played it on piano for a whole year till i knew it from memory, its now his favourite song, i was so happy the day we met i fully took the day off to just feel happy, he played my song for me in his irl piano, im learning japanese to speak better with him and another friend from sky too, shes teaching me hehe, we have watched ghibli together even, we dont meet in sky often but when we do its always such a treasured time, we are now in praire lobby w him asleep bc he is working from home and didnt want to leave me

Oh what I tend to do is cover my whole body except my hands and face with a blanket.

Because the mosquito is looking for a place to bite, they'll go to your face and you go WHAM. Or spray it when they're in-range.
In the morning check nooks and crannies or the walls. The mosquitoes may be sleeping there. Or spray the whole room including those hidden spots and don't go in your room for a while.
