I'm still relatively new to the game. I've done the eye of Eden twice and I'm going around doing as many spirit things as I can. It's so fun ;u;

I did Eden today for the first time since aviary release, prior to spawn location changing. And I’ve already had my issues and displeasures of the situation with Homespace, but rebirthing in Aviary was really the cherry on top for me. It really sent me over the edge and I’m very upset over it, I couldn’t even hold back crying a bit over it.
Homespace has been my home for four years now. Thats my home. I made so many memories and done so much there.
Aviary is a great place, it’s pretty and a great idea, but it’s not my home. I have no problems with others thinking otherwise, but for me, Homespace will always be the place I belong.
But ever since the spawn location change, homespace space has felt less and less like home. It’s empty, it’s quiet, you couldn’t get dailies there anymore, you cant collect the season candle there anymore, traveling spirits don’t show up anymore, you don’t even rebirth there after Eden anymore, the game introduction is in aviary now. TGC is abandoning Homespace and it’s breaking my heart, because I cant create the home connection with aviary that they want me to.

secondly, let me clarify a couple things since I know too much from beta and random bits n bobs:

• they fixed dailies to appear in homespace once more
• I agree that daily SC move is dumb
• TS not appearing in home is a thing that occurs for a portion of longtime players. My alt can see it in both home and aviary still, but main does not see it in home at all.
• I agree the aviary landing is weird

I do recommend you copy paste your whole thing into #live-feedback, that would be really beneficial for the devs to see

That was where I first started the game. The update in December is what changed it to allow you to swap between the original and the aviary.

that's the most effective way for devs to see and hear the playerbase's frustrations

because lord knows I have also complained in #beta-feedback when dailies were forced into aviary only and like
straight up it never changed until live launch and then it got half reverted, which is a pain but that's how it is

I agree exactly, it’s a great place, but not for me. I love being in Homespace, if it’s to hang out with people, chat with friends, change outfits, play instruments, sit back and relax. It’s my favorite place in the whole game. They spent so long building it and creating special event locations in it, that it’s so devastating it suddenly became bottom priority for TGC the second aviary came out

I look at aviary as like, an expansion of homespace to better fit community desires and needs
because homespace is too small for events tbh, but the problem is that like
players still have a strong attachment to home so having both homespace and aviary be developed for that would be a good breakeven

The lore of Sky is entirely a mess, not even the game delivers it properly and leaves almost everything vague and up to the player to interpret

Making it bad in lore-wise terms because the story can be made by anyone and relies on fanon a lot to just make sense on the majority of what Sky failed to explain. If your own story hasn't been established effectively and ppl just get to call whatever they prefer to think what happened, makes it bad as a story but good as a template for players

Basically you invested so much time/money/interest or any combination of them on one thing, that giving it up at any point onwards is very hard or even mortifying to do for some
