I'd tell you if I knew what it was called! All I know is it's somewhere past the Treehouse and beneath one of the trees in the Forest. It's pitch black in there and you can just hear the rain there... I love it

The spot I took him to was near the wl surrounded by four "help a spirit" walls way up in the room in which you turn off the rain o/

It's not hard but the crab is annoying cuz the crab can knock you off the circle-- but it can be fixed when you just spam honks, luckily Krill can't hear stuff

Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask - when a player requests a Spirit Guide, can I see only Spirits that I've collected or will I be able to see all spirits in the area, even ones I don't have?

The main blue spirit would appear on the map, it doesn't tell you where it is tho

While for purple/orange spirit are like hidden and you can always ask a guide for it or look online on where to find em

The game will point you towards spirits that the requesting player doesn't have yet
You should see them unless you literally just collected the spirit (happened to me once in prairie peaks)

Because otherwise you wouldn't know which spirits they have or not

The crab call spirit gave me a lot of trouble, in part because of the awkward path and in part because there was another moth there that refused to unhand the spirit so I could guide it down the shipwreck

Oh Pleaful Parent easy. I also struggled with Dismiss quite a bit when they first made all the old spirits relivable, but now I can do it with my eyes closed

Your skin tone varies slightly when you wear certain pants. Fire Prophet pants turns you a cool dark gray, for example, that may be the blue folks are drawing

I remember when my posse and I all worked together to relive all those pesky Wasteland carry spirits, and I had the second hardest time with Dismiss. I lost 15 winged light to that spirit alone that day

I had a vet friend help me with reliving Dismiss, Respect, and Pleaful all in one day when I was a moth, they distracted the krills and were good at dodging, I even got a little brave myself and distracted a Krill too. I was, and still am, eternally grateful to them for helping me

It's probably no coincidence that the trinity of awful are all carry spirits for me.

Another system that's really mean to new players specifically is TS
There's so many in the pool of options by now that the odds of getting a single specific cosmetic you like are abysmal
I've heard people complain about a given TS taking 2+ years to show up sometimes

Yeah. We're a ton of seasons behind, too. We've still yet to see Abyss outside of the one group visit. Still plenty of cool spirits, but... that's Performance through to Revival missing. My entire Sky tenure.

Rally is difficult for a moth with low wings but if you still have your friend they should be able to help and you can just go along for the ride assuming you aren't disconnecting much

I was lucky enough to not get too many glitches along the way like you did
The game doesn't ever really force you to do things together in my experience except assembly

You summon the white gift candle by cancelling the gifting of a heart, and now you're just holding out a candle

For krill the most important tips i can give are
Looking at their flight path and where you could hide if it goes sour, before rushing in
And when you do hide, do not leave your hiding spot even if the spotlight looks scary : after you cut sight with the krill it'll stand still and search for you a little while
During that time, it cannot create line of sight again with you because it isn't moving
Regardless of how much the spotlight seems to say otherwise
So do not panic, take your time and the krill will go alright

Also in general a common trap is to go in while the krill is nearby because the spotlight looks far enough away from you
This tends to go sour because it moves deceptively fast and often has more range than you'd expect, which leads to getting spotted by surprise, it's usually better to wait until the spotlight is just gone from your path

Keyboard is by far where i do the most misinputs (thanks dyspraxia), and i absolutely cannot do complex inputs chains on keyboard because replacing the joystick with 4 entire different inputs makes it a nightmare
Like i did rain world on controller and keyboard for example
On controller i can do downspears (the name for a move you can do) under 5 attempts
On keyboard i can spend minutes on end trying it and misinputting

actually on that, mobile and console are basically the same, console just gives your body posture a perfect angle with the eye-hand coordination and having to look to a big screen. playing on mobile turns you into shrimp. ungodly body posture very much bad for your health.

advantage:

• you can play on mobile while in the toilet
• if you have enough mobile data or your friend is mobile hotspotting you can play in a moving vehicle

My moth names are situational like where I adopted them or how they acted like recently I hunted spirits in Wasteland with a moth including Pleading Parent so I called them Brave Moth because they didn't quit even though they got krilled a couple times (I picked up light and relit them)

I feel this- as a semi moth I try to help newbies and I also get help from vets. I have people named “treehouse friend” and treehouse Kate” back from when they helped me finish the treehouse.

Occasionally I name moths after what they wear or like anybody I find after what they're wearing or where they are, I had someone named big raccoon once cause they were tall and wore raccoon tail, a few people named vault doors because I helped them inside the multi doors, I think there was one called adorable sanctuary because they were just being really sweet and we took it in turns to light candles and burn darkness in the area and we we finished they blew lots of kisses
