I should mention that the lore of this game is very open ended
Which means, we have many questions without a definitive answer, but about which we can theorize and come up with different ideas
For example there exist multiple theories about what in the peck are krill (personally i like to believe they're corrupted skeletons)

The murals throughout the game seem to imply that the eden elder (often called the king) is partly responsible for the darkness destroying the realms

So basically across some murals in the game, we are shown a figure that we often call the king
We never meet him, and have no idea what happened to him when the shattering happened
Who appears to be responsible for the creation of the giant murdercrystal in eden, which was originally meant to be a good thing but shattered and became what we see in eden

However, it shattered and got corrupted
As we can see from the season of shattering

There is spirits on wasteland looking like they are going through war

Some of them wanted to use artificial light (diamonds) which were mass produced in factories, which I believe is what Wasteland and Eden were used for, with the huge diamond in PNR being the largest factory. While some of them preferred to use natural light, so there was war amongst them all, including the elders.

Personally I don't think light was getting scarce
There's not much evidence of it slowly depleting over time
I Personally believe the reason for the war was more about how light should be used, and respected

I still have a crippling fear of them (but I’m actually getting better!!) because as a moth I met another moth in my first run of wasteland… and we were stuck in a cave and I did the step of bravery, exiting the cave.. and I got krilled. Into another dimension.

PNR stands for point of no return, it's the final area of eden with all the statues
As the name implies, once you're there you can't go back : if you go to home you'll be in a "stormlocked" home, meaning there'll be a stormy weather and you can go nowhere but to eden
Inside PNR, there's a lot of statues all over that you can help: you can only save a given statue once a week (if you comr back twice in a week the statues you previously helped will already be done), the statue reset happens on Sunday
If you help every single statue in PNR you get around 15.75 candles
There's also 3 different rock rain styles in PNR: they get more intense and dangerous as your progress

As the final few statues are in a section with 0 cover and permanent heavy rock rain, meaning past that point you have no choice but to slowly crawl towards them while losing massive amounts of WL
This means that to get 15.75, you need to enter eden with a massive amount of winged light : this requires a lot of wing buffs and thus many previous eden runs
Without many wing buffs, the reasonable limit hovers closer to between 14 and 15

I wanted to mention something about krill
The spotlight is not perfectly accurate to their line of sight
When you get spotted by a krill, they lock on to you and you hide, right?
When you hide, you cut their line of sight with you
they cannot lock back on if they don't have line of sight, no matter if the spotlight looks to be over you
This means that after hiding from a krill, you should stand still until it goes away, even if the spotlight looks scary
Because as long as the krill is just moving its head and not actually moving, it cannot create the line of sight back
So when a krill spots you
Hide, and stay put, and you will be okay as long as you don't panick

I'd say running diagonally in the direction of the storm helps a lot. That's how I run eden atleast.

Go past pnr, find a moff, place down your tea set and chat with them, and act totally calm.

It does get easier to do Eden runs if you keep doing Eden runs. It is meant to be a challenge, but as time passes and you gain more experience, Eden runs are kind of like a task that can be described as little bit difficult

Take your time with them! Some of the revival quests require others to be done, and some have neat rewards and unlocks, but other than that take your time, the game is always there and the guides aren't going anywhere
If you need help with a quest, we'll be here to help

Limited time things are the yearly events : those don't work through guides and quests but rather by collecting tickets in the world to buy stuff, and some spirits sell past years things for candles or hearts
And the current season cosmetics, but you'll know which season is the current one
Once a season ends, its quests remain available thanks to the guide staying
The cosmetics usually end up in the travelling spirit pool

I recommend just starting with your name and learning a few things about the other person, a good ice breaker is asking about what they are doing in the location you are meeting them if it isn't already overly obvious (like a bar or party is rather obvious, a place like a park or a youth targeted social area is also a good place to ask this ice breaker)

For places to meet social and nice people I recommend finding a local area for like community! Especially for youth to meet people in a similar age range. You can draw similarities to sky in the sense that that's where social people gather to make friends, making friends is a rather positive quality in people
