Happened to me last year I got a bad math teacher hated him so much I couldn't get any good grades we even hired a tutor for me alone I would ace every single practice test he gave me but the actual test I always failed it because the bad teacher would watch over us

I would have loved to have the courage to do that in that one horrible creative writing class I took one time. I loathed the teacher. But unfortunately, I'm a bit of a relentless people-pleaser and had high stakes on the line (as in I wanted to get into university).

Wish I had the guts to stand up to her. She made writing infinitely harder for me nowadays because she was so dang pedantic and not even kind about it.

Exempted both 101 and 102 finals, knew automatically I passed 103 when I turned my finals sheet and they used one of those automatic-scorers.

I was surprised because I hadn't met anyone else who played Sky, and I hadn't gotten any other capes either. And then they showed me a cute Sky pin, and now I realize that it was a STAR pin and I didn't know what it was because I was a moth.
I'm looking up the price cause I remember what it looked like

assuming you're talking about skips, the setups are indeed much stricter now, but also try being regular size (not chibi) if you aren't already - I'm no longer able to do the Earth skips with chibi, but i can still do them with regular size because of the bigger hitbox

There's a much easier cheese method where if you have a friend close to you with a white candle out, you'll both end up being safe from the darkness
Not as efficient as a full skip but still so much easier and faster than normal

okay so thank GOD i take so many screenshots! joined sky on 4/23/2022 and a very nice person i found on tumblr brought me through wasteland -> vault -> eden on 5/4/2022. aaaand then i didn't do eden again until... 3/26/2023 lmao. so. only one week actually the first time i went through eden, and then after that i did not even LOOK at it again until almost another year

There's been times where I go back to give someone light but I get hit or sent flying and we both end up needing help lol

Fire is fun to skip because it feels good to just go on top of the entire level, but doing it normally is very tedious

it's air I can't stand, I really hate wind mechanics in games and sky's platforming just ain't good enough for me to enjoy the level at all (though learning piggyback rocket has made it much more tolerable as of late)

And the same situation as this one too and most moths think their first Eden is the end game- I end up with moths that haven't been online for days

I've only completed the trials once but it has a special place in my heart because it was the first season pass I ever did (I did not come close to completing it)

Like geniunely after a couple seconds you can skip the credits and the game tells you it's not done

that's true, another part of it I think is that even if they do know, the whole "you have to re-collect all your WL's and wings" can be a pretty big turnoff even for more experienced players

that's not really a game issue, more just a subjective thing. I had a few friends who were annoyed enough that they just stopped playing even though they knew they could (and were supposed to) continue, they didn't want to deal with the tedium of collecting WL's again

I think this is an important point to make but I think, even to find this server, you have already gotten past quite a bit in Sky, and have probably done so by yourself. Or, if you're the type that reads the wiki or watched YouTube videos, you are already conditioned to grinding for these events and have played a big deal by yourself already to understand. I think most of the ppl who still play for the social aspect only do so for fun, probably do not have as much time invested, or have a decent group of ppl they play with regularly

But also, at least 90% of my sessions I can go into Prairie or Forest or even at Home on any given day and chill with randoms for at least half an hour. I don't think that aspect has subsided, at least since I've been playing (I started in 2020)

but anyways me and the fam are going on a trip and staying in a villa til the 28th! vacation w/ my grandpa is hard cuz he can't really get up stairs too much so we have to be extra strategic when chosing vacay destinations but this seems okay! and hopefully we'll stop by a local arcade and see if there's a maimai machine there! :D

i managed to clear a hard level on Arcaea for some reason but still struggle with D4 despite being less complex than the former, but maybe because i'm not used to it. it's a very cool experience anyway, i bet the results would be the same if i do it on like Sky or Genshin
