Before release, they didn't have Winged Lights. Only emotes. Getting damaged/krilled/crabbed would disable your emotes.
Winning Eden meant you got to lock in emotes that survived the trip and then you could upgrade the locked emotes to tier 2.

Hi! Sorry if this isn't "cozy" but gen is too chaotic for me i had an idea for sky that I posted in wishlist, and I wanted to know if people have ideas for it
So here it is:
Give players who have completed an entire season a light pendant for that season. Here's how it would work:
The player who has the pendant can give it to anyone (Or just a friend) and it will maybe show a cutscene and give the player who now has the following prompt: You have been entrusted with a great responsibility. Visit the light to be reborn in a new time, and fill this pendant with light. Then when the player is reborn with that pendant on, that season will be going on, with non-seasonal prices. Once they get everything, they have to be reborn again and could give it to someone else. You could even keep the IAPs in their menu after they're done so they don't have to get them to pass it on. It would fit in the spirit of Sky, too!

And then they had to go and warm my heart even more by playing the theme for Season of the Little Prince, my moff season I love this game so much

Anywhere, honestly. You can make hiding spots out of anything if you know how to use expressions to your advantage, and remember how your light is dimmed when you are a hider.

For instance, I like to use that one despondent TLP spirit's expression to fall forward into walls so only my feet stick out. Using the Tumbling Troublemaker's rolling expression lets me crouch behind short walls, or slowly roll out of the seeker's line of sight. One time I stayed hidden standing inside the Season Guide at the Village of Dreams; my friend never found me!

Your light being dimmed lets you blend in great to dark areas, especially when playing with players you haven't lit. The bright colors of your outfit are invisible until you light each other, after all.

I started playing in April last year, and that's right before Season of Shattering made it even easier to get ascended candles. You can get wing buffs from the main constellation spirits, too; some even offer more than one! And if TGC intends to continue the group visits of past Seasonal Spirits (squints vaguely at whatever the last date was months ago), you can build up your wing buffs even more.

I know! I've completed the isle constellation (I even have the Elder's beard), and I participate in red shard events whenever I can. The problem is timing... I can play very little and rarely do a weekly eden run. I am nearly at 8 wedges, and then I might consider buying more wing buffs/eden running

I completely understand the sentiment of the second half of the season quests - it's certainly not much for older players compared to newer players, but a new generation of moths will now call Aviary home, and I think that's pretty neat I also believe Aviary will be getting many more updates and additions as time goes on, as TGC has mentioned some plans for big expansions in the future that aren't part of a season

I did really enjoy the Fireworks Festival though - I love how the music, fireworks, and even the Guides paid homage to a lot of past Sky seasons. It's no Aurora concert, of course, but for a celebration of a revival and all we've accomplished on our journey so far, I think it was a pretty solid finale! That's just me though and my opinion

I do leave ping on for replies to questions, because it's easy for one to forget they asked or not realise they got an answer

My own personal rule with it is: if I think it’s something that calls for an urgent answer or if there’s a lot of activity, I leave ping on. Otherwise, ping off. Though this also depends on folks’ personal ping preference, too.
