As for Homestuck, I would say its best parts is early on with Acts 1-4 when it felt like a CYOA adventure and Act 5-2. I managed to finish it purely because I remember it out of the blue and I just go "I wonder if that guy finally updated it"

||The four spirits are the Prophets' best students, and they ended up creating their own mini-prophecy predicting the existence of a musical deity known as the AURORA. This prophecy became popular among musicians and performers, and some even claimed to have visions of the AURORA, but they were subconscious and couldn't be proven.

One day, the four student prophets decided to go on a pilgrimage to find a way to prove the AURORA's existence, AKA finding a way to show her in the conscious plane. They succeeded in that department, but the Eden apocalypse struck, killing them all on their way back. Hey Cozy…I broke my computer this morning. I was getting out of bed and didn’t realize where my computer was and stepped on it. Now there’s a crack in the screen and the trackpad is completely glitched out. It’ll keep opening and closing things, moving around, and just generally not working. Oh yeah I saw my classmates get bit by dragonflies once but it was the bug's self defense. I love dragonflies in the school grounds during september though, they kind of hover around as you walk by and it's so relaxing to look at them.

Oh I live in the rice fields. Well... Used to. New houses and buildings were springing up and the rice fields got less and less...
I used to hear water buffaloes mooing back then when I was a child, they were used to plow the fields. Now I hear nothing but ear-shattering kareokes and loud motorcycles.

The school I used to study in though was in a forest-protected area, so there's lots of wildlife.

2 years ago I had a cicada fly at me during summer camp (this was the year all the cicadas pushed their way out of the ground and started getting everywhere and killing tree branches and breeding and stuff) :D It was scary.

I think for me, it’s something about the fact that they make noise that freaks me out. Huge bugs that’ll scream at you if you look at them funny. No thank you.

We have lightning bugs here and they are really pretty from a distance, especially when you can see a whole bunch of them in the forest at night. Up close they're still bugs tho lol

We get tons of fireflies where I live in the summer. It’s a treat to hike up to a hill at dusk and see all these tiny lights glowing and flashing to each other saying ‘I’m here! I’m here!’ and showing the world they exist.

Maybe? There used to be an open canal nearby that led to an open field but houses started popping up and said canal that people cross was covered and a proper bridge was made above it.

Come to think of it Ive never even set foot in that part of town. All I know from Google maps is that it is one giant empty field with maybe a few buildings built by the nearby university
