okay so i have some full on lore about this thing and i was still in primary school at the time
so the main ruling body were a group of five princesses, and they believed in peace. two of them were ponies (yes i had mlp toys, do not question), one of them was a happy meal princess peach, one of them was a kinder joy ariel and the last one was a small barbie doll. they hated war so they ruled with love and peace
but then a group of 7 kids, the Council, were trying to fight against them because they felt like the five leaders didn't believe in progress. their leader (a my melody figurine) wants to take over the whole kingdom so they can progress further, at the cost of their citizens. this involves a giant army and a desolate wasteland while the five rulers had happy people and stuff.
the two of them are fighting over a special gem called the Sunray Gemstone. it has the power to destroy worlds, and it currently acts as a protective barrier for the kingdom from the outside world (hence why my bedroom has walls lol). the Council wants to use said stone to destroy the barriers and rule the whole galaxy while the Rulers want to use it to keep the barriers and keep all the citizens happy.
and in all of this is a group of main characters that somehow got swept up in this. first is Everblaze (happy meal vulpix toy), an engineering prodigy and her robot partner, Balance (those discovery channel happy meal toys, i can dm photo if you want a visual), who are the Rulers' envoys. and there's another one that is a strawberry shortcake doll with a hedgehog sharpener i never used to sharpen pencils. but this is a tldr
there is more to it but i would need a full google doc for it lol

I feel like there’s almost a certain distance threshold with them. Yeti loves having the village nearby. But they hate having neighbours that are directly by them. They’re a hermit - they love their isolation, and while they also love the occasional bit of company, they like it being their choice. A direct neighbour would kind of spoil that.

So using Surf on it, for instance, would be more powerful than using Ice Beam despite both having a similar power level. However, Ice Beam would be there for extra type coverage.

Regarding location, makes sense! Though I do think it would be interesting to see capes with other typings there, too. For instance, I see Peeking Postman’s cape as a high-speed status-inflicting cape that mains Earth, seconds Fire.

Perhaps location could determine the common type?

Well, everyone is different on how they spend their candles. I usually like saving my candles for traveling spirits.

I do not advise saving up for an elder hair and a traveling spirit at the same time though.

luckily all i have left for forests constellation is just heart items, plus ive developed a good system to save hearts enough while also still progressing through it. i still spend some candles everyday, but i always gain more back anyway!

I like to set my priorities on what I should spend my candles on first, then if I have some left over, I'll buy something that looks interesting.

There are times where I'll ask myself, "Will this item have any use to me in the present and future?" This is mostly with capes though.

There isn't anything wrong on how you spend your candles, and you shouldn't feel ashamed about it either.

This week’s TS ||sleeps in a nightgown and a nightcap||: Cosy vibes, and they’re the soft, fuzzy TS. They literally are coziness.

This week’s TS ||is afraid of large fish||: Yeti lives on a mountain with no known bodies of water. I headcanon that they don’t know how to swim in the first place, and are afraid of water as a whole because all they can imagine is being eaten by a giant fish.

This week’s TS ||would fall for "is your refrigerator running?" joke||: They aren’t exactly social, so it’s possible they aren’t familiar with that joke. Maybe they don’t even know what a fridge is, considering they seem to live in nature.

This week’s TS ||would never think about taking a vacation from the job they love||: Said life in nature would probably mean that Yeti is dedicated to routine. Trying to get them to take a break from routine would likely stress them out.

This week’s TS ||hates having neighbors||: They might like people on their own terms, but it’s likely they’re a hermit for a reason. They’re probably the introvert to end all introverts. Forced regular interaction with another spirit would probably drive them up the wall.

This week’s TS ||likes to smell nice||: I have no other explanation for this besides, maybe they like self-care?

This week’s TS ||has never pondered their love life||: Yeti is naturally a solitary sort - why would they be concerned with sharing it with someone else? They’re perfectly content on their own.

I could very well be, and am most likely, wrong, but for the curious! I do actually have reasoning behind it.
