Maybe there are some very CPU/GPU intensive elements, which cannot be handled by weak processors? For example the developer accidentally turned on some high graphic elements, which are definitely NOT meant for low spec phones like ours.

Given that they introduced some various GUI improvements like tunable sound configuration for example.

My Pixel 3a isn't a high end device and it had no ill effects with this recent update. It isn't really hardware thing, more of a software thing which is why it only affects certain devices but other devices with the same hardware (CPU/GPU) don't have the issue.

You might be right, Android 11 might have introduced regressions, or in general, Mali/Adreno GPU might have some quirky commands or even bugs, which Qualcomms for example doesn't have.. Then the developer just wanted to make use of exactly those commands for nicer graphics or similar and.. yeah..

For those who are worried about the daily quest u can do them at home (not the last one tho lol) and for the light try getting into prairie real quick and get the candle cake, that's what I did and I have 3/4 daily done!!

Read #known-issues thoroughly, report as a bug

Try unlocking developer options and change minimum width or smallest width value to 320 (don't go lower and do note the original value so you can undo your change). Doing so will decrease your screen resolution from 1080p to 720p.

Also if you are using a Samsung, check the Samsung galaxy store if you have Game Launcher available. It's feature: Game Booster Plus can further optimize your game's graphics options

Also try changing background process limit to no background process or at most one

Try to close running apps before running the game.

Finally, in-game, decrease the graphics options to low power.

Do you crash at the start of your Gameplay or when you've been playing a while (like 5-20min)

Some issues crop up the longer you play as the device tries to prevent permanent damage and decreases performance when it gets too hot.

Your devices is a galaxy note 10. I checked the specs. it's more productivity focused. The GPU, Mali-G76 isn't powerful enough for a very smooth experience. Keep in mind that the Sky is a graphics intensive game.
