The A01 is a pretty low end phone. It has a Snapdragon 439 processor (Adreno 505 GPU). For example, my Snapdragon 670 (Adreno 615 GPU) barely gives me 30 FPS in heavy areas. Per the attached screenshot, it wouldn't even hit 10 fps comparatively.

Actually it will be natively running Android applications within windows. It's going to be using a Windows features known as WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) and it will have a compatibility bridge that will convert Arm API calls to x86. However the pair for Android is only between Amazon and Microsoft. So applications that rely on Google Play Services won't be able to function. Anything you can find on the Amazon app store though will be able to be installed and run. So sky would be a no-go as it is not available in the Amazon app store. So far I've yet to hear of any kind of side-loading, but as far as I can tell that's not something that's going to be natively supported.

They also don't have any plans of removing TMP 2.0 or DirectX 12 from the requirements as a lot of the UI built-in requires it.

Hey guys, I have some controllers here - twin controllers, and some other single ones- but the game doesn't recognise them at all.

Is there any kind of 3rd party app that would act like a controller recogniser? Like a gamepad or something that would run over Sky and let me play with controllers?

There may be two things at play here.

1. Your phone does not have OTG support (unlikely if it can run sky)
2. Your controllers are using direct input instead of x input.

As far as I know there is no controller recognizing app as this is controlled directly by the operating system.

(Android apps can't run natively on Linux, either due to API differences). It's the same reason Android can't run Linux apps. Yeah, my off brand 360 controller doesn't work with Sky, but my Microsoft branded one works fine. Any Xbox One controller, off brand or Microsoft branded would work with Sky since the One series consoles exclusively uses X-input. If you have a used game store near you, you can get an OG One controller for pretty cheap. Got mine replaced for 10 USD... Used from a local used game store. (Not a national chain, so keeping the company anon for privacy)

Most likely the database Sky references might not have the G77 MC9, yet. It was the same for the Adreno 650 and 660 for awhile. 60 FPS being locked away due to no "GPU score" for them in the database.

I use the game turbo widget to have quick toggle to start screen recorder. It mutes game audio as soon as it starts recording.

The same with Google default recorder. It only records game audio if ur mic is on. If u mute the mic recording, then in game audio is muted as well... Tried 2 other recorders from play store. They seem to record video, while in game audio is not muted. But when I play the recorder vids they don't have audio

It was not like this before. I think a recent android update caused this.. The default screen recorder was working just fine.

I had a similar issue. The remedy was clearing Sky's app data. As long as you linked your account with Google, Facebook or Nintendo, clearing app data won't do any harm and may fix the issue, also

I got the SteelSeries controller ($35 if you get refurb) and it's been a dream for the 4 months I've had it. as long as it's android compatible Bluetooth, you should be fine

a note though, that your phone does need to be a new enough software version that it has thd native controller compatibility or you'll have to get a 3rd party app to set up controls

Only way to have 60 fps mode on an non compatible GPU is to use a tool that fakes your build prop. The Adreno 618 cannot get a consistent 60 fps, so TGC disabled it for devices with that GPU. If your friend has 60 fps on their Redmi Note 9, then they did something to make Sky think it is a different device.

Only if your motherboard or CPU doesn't come with TPM pre-installed. 90% of AMD Zen CPUs have what's called fTPM that works. Most non-Z Intel board need the chip, though. This is wildy off topic for Sky Discord, though.

If it's an OEM board, you're out of luck upgrading to Win11, unless microsoft removed the TPM requirement. Also, don't forget, you need DirectX 12 which is only on discreet video cards. Any nvidia 900 series or higher or any AMD 5000 or 6000 series GPUS from the last two years. Older AMD cards didn't support DX12.

All right clear Sky's data (settings, apps, Sky, storage)
Reopen sky and try to log in with the other account. If it automatically attaches to the wrong account, temporarily remove that account from your phone. Once sky has attached to the correct account you can re-login to the other account.

Also make sure Google Play isn't trying to make the payment on a different gmail account. Best way to prevent that is log out of every other gmail on your device besides the one you are making the purchase on. Then log back in to those gmails after you're done purchasing.

As long as TGC haven't made any statements about Windows compatibility, playing Sky on PC is not legal.

Windows is entirely different from Android, therefore it needs a separate emulated environment = emulator. The fact that the emulator is built in and not 3rd party is not an excuse. It's best to contact in-game Support about it because Sky had made a mass ban wave recently.

Slight technical explanation: iOS has a different permission stack with Apps requesting access to the Vulkan renderer for capture. Android does not. Every app is stuck in their own sandbox. The best thing TGC can do is utilize a full screen recording feature, but it would cause a lot of device overhead and lost quality.

Unless it's an official release for that platform, expect no support from the developers. To find out the Windows 11 running Android is emulation or native. Run PUBG mobile, it can check you are on emulation or not when you run the game
