That isn't the reason... The reason OEMs build their budget phones on 32 bit systems is to cut down on development time to reduce cost. AKA: They're being cheap on their cheap devices.

Unfortunately not all phones can handle that kind of quality for a whole long series of heavy calculated animated pictures.

Kill all other apps before launching Sky. Check if you can download "Game Plugins" (by Samsung) from Galaxy Store (not from other sources!). Try using it to improve performance by reducing graphic quality. I don't know if Game Plugins support your device though.

When it asks you to abandon, its asking you to abandon the current version you are on. So if you reinstalled and then had to “start over” before connecting to your old account, you will be asked to abandon the new game so your old account can come in and take over.

I've been crashing a lot as well. Andriod generally has this problem when going into different areas and high maintenance areas like forest, golden wasteland, and the end game. If you crash more than 1-2 a day, or even if not!, i highly suggest you reporting it to #bug-reports-android with your specific phone information and track a list of places it happens and if any, actions that may cause it.

Also, make sure you have no background running apps. Apps with bubbles, like Facebook Messenger have a heavy memory footprint. Also ensure battery optimization for sky is turned off

Yeah, its strange. Sky has some of its own optimazations to work almost simularly like the iOS build, since they made sky on iOS initially for a year. So the andriod version has been on since march, so theres still improvements to be made.

Yeah, at this point, they need to optimize with OEM customizations (Additions to stock Android, like Samsung's OneUI, MIUI, Motorola's Blur, etc). Base stock android has no issues, from my experience in this latest update.

As I guessed absolutely no way to uninstall these things, I never agreed to the TOS of Galaxy/Huawei/etc... apps I did it solely to have a better experience while playing sky but once you agree it's a nightmare. There's no way to truly uninstall the launcher and all

I actually use game booster. From my understanding it helps improve the gaming experience, not hinder it.

Where I have seen other phones with the same chipset as my 3a fail in sky, mine just works due to no oem bloat, and OnePlus is the same if you don't want a pixel for whatever reason.

It even benchmarks lower than DreamFyre's phone in Geekbench but runs the game smoother for some reason.

practically all android phones and most android tablets use ARM instead of x86

I have a friend who wants to play sky, but here's the scenario:

The first time she opens the app, it works perfectly fine. No issues, just the normal business. She came as far as Prairie without putting her phone down. When she actually puts her phone down and opens Sky later, the screen is stuck at the opening screen, without a play button.

What's up with that? She's been reinstalling the app more than 6 times, still the same problem. I was hoping someone here could answer this problem...

Given the circumstances... She may need to reset her phone. There have been a few bugs that the only way that's been found to work is to reset the device to factory.

Only do this if she has ALL important data backed up.

Oh wait restart as in restart from 0? If you've linked your game, then you cannot unlink it yourself (unless you're linked through facebook iirc). You would have to contact support and explain that you want to restart anew. Then deleting the game, restarting your phone and redownloading it should work. If it still automatically logs you in, try redoing those steps but also logging out from google play before you restart your device.

Today I wanted to inquire. About the graphics settings. It doesn't really specifiy the resuloltion we are playing when changing them. Battery saver (low resolution and low fps), Default (don't know the specs here), boosted or performance (60fps but don't know resolution either), high definition (supposedly 1080p 30fps but don't know).

I tried the full graphics options, high definition, and my phone seems to consume less power than in default, I don't understand that at all.😂 😂 😂 it should be the other way around.

Since that is personal info and in the rules to not share. So just telling them if they live in US or Canada, they most likely will have the Snapdragon Variant, and a few select countries in Asia also still have CDMA2000 to need it also.

Bomidor, Adding 32 bit code would require a lot of man hours and delay other launches. Sadly 32 bit got phased out in Android about 3 years ago and Manufacturers who are still using it are going to find out their devices won't be able to run most updated games here shortly as Google is forcing all apps updated after August 2021 to be 64 bit only. (All new apps (Sky was released after this date) made after August 2019 needed to be 64 bit)

For 60 FPS, except waiting for optimization by dev, I've found screen sharing on a TV would be able to have 60 FPS playing experience even if your host device doesn't support it. Although there'll be some minor time lag between your phone and TV screen tho.

pdrthms, sadly, no. The game checks your device and makes sure it can run 60 FPS against a database of benchmarks. If you don't have 60 FPS option, it is because you device couldn't deliver consistent 60 FPS.

You can just add abiFilter to Android build gradle.properties so that game would build unoptimized 32-bit code, just for checkmark.

A lot of their algorithms depend on 64 bit processes, so they would have to rewrite a lot and break the 64 bit build of the game which they would have to release in tandem with the 32 bit version. (Google is forcing all applications released after Aug 2019 to have a 64 bit only version and by 2021 all apps must have a 64 bit only version to be in the play store)

I just read some of the texts that I missed... And I noticed a few things. As far as I know smartphones with the Power VR GPUs do not support sky. The Samsung Galaxy A21s is equipped with the Exynos 850 which has the Mali-G52. It also has options for 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM. @ashen cradle @keen dock

That's not exactly a setting you can change... but there are things you can do with your device to ensure that it is running at full capacity.

One of these things is making sure that apps are not running in the background. Like Facebook and Instagram.

The game booster plus will allow you to adjust the maximum resolution as well as the maximum frame rate of the game. So if your issue is graphical, that should fix it.

Depending on what the issue is, reducing some of the load on the GPU could reduce the likelihood of a crash.

I'm not sure what the problem with with your specific device is... But if you keep crashing, you may need to put in a bug report. Cuz it's not something that optimization could fix, if that is the case.
