They would need someone to do the accounting for that. TGC, while a great company doesn't have the resources to have someone bookkeeping in app purchases which is why they rely on Apple and Google to do it for them. It is pretty understandable. The nightmare of paying for a CC processor alone isn't worth it. Usually those companies charge 35 to 40 cents just to process the CC for you. Then add in what I said earlier of having a dedicated employee to ensure the payments go on the correct sky ID. They would need a guaranteed income through that method to pay that employee a decent salary.

Hi 🙂 i just got s new phone unfortunatley the old one didn’t supported sky so i was playing on my ipad. I love it there but it would be nice to play on phone too when i only have my phone with me. So my question is, is it possible to be logged in to the same account in ios and android at the same time?
If it is possible i tried the recovery steps which are pinned here on my phone, linked the right google account to the android game but no window appeared where i could chose to recover my progress from the ios game. Any idea what should i do? Also thanks in advance

I experience the same thing. Drain of about 20-25% an hour playing on my 3a. No lags, no broken textures. I also had a hard time replicating the wasteland bug and can't for the life of me get this game to crash in sanctuary on my 3a.

Only two manufacturers guaranteed to update your phone in a timely manner is OnePlus and Google themselves. Every other company is usually a month or two behind on security patches.

Hey 🙂 i had a question earlier about transferring progress from ios to android, following the steps which have been written here in the pins.
The soution was:

• deleting the app
• log in to the google account which i added in IOS
  (previously i was in my main google account which i use for different purposes)
• download the game again
• then link the account in the ⚙️ menu following the steps Ktjn wrote here.

This way it works properly.
So in my case, the missing step was downloading the app, while being logged in the same google account i used to save the progress in ios.
I hope it helps, if anyone else has or will have the same problem.
This instruction can be found in the game support menu, but was missing from the discord description

Also i went through almost all the maps now and the only place i had a little trouble was citadel. Is that a common place, where android users experience some lagging or it was just my phone? (srry about the massive amount of questions )

There's a little program called game booster plus. it gives you the option to adjust the internal resolution of the game as well as limit the frame rate.

Cobalt, the difference between the X1 and X1+ is the LPDDR ram and the process node. The OG X1 was built on the 20nm process by TSMC and the X1+ is on 16nm by TSMC. This let's the X1+ clock a little higher due to space efficiency. The OG X1 has LPDDR3 while the X1+ has LPDDR4

This often happens when Sky is experiencing server issues. It may be regional. It may be global. Best thing to do for now is quit Sky and try again in a bit.

Then again, if you haven't been able to connect at all since 8pm last night then you may be experiencing connectivity issues on your end. Can you try switching to data and seeing if that helps?

I've been experiencing something weird related to connection that only happens when i play Sky, so i don't know what to think about it.

It's not all the time but it's like 70/80% chance to happen every time i start playing, i'm starting to think maybe is OS related but i'm not sure, so i wanna hear what y'all think.

Ok here it goes, when i'm playing a lot of the times i lose my WiFi connection, it goes completely grey, i go into my WiFi settings and the connection is fine with a strong signal, as soon as i switch back into the game, i lose the connection instantly, go back into settings connections is fine, return to game, gone instantly.

I am 90% sure it is something to do with memory. All other areas use 600Mb max of memory, even Eden and ||orbit|| but Sanc uses over 740.

That's when I use battery saver mode. God knows how much it would use on higher settings.

Sorry, Turtle, there isn't an option to mute sound in-game at the moment. If you have a Samsung phone, you can use Sound Assistant to mute Sky manually. And if you're on IOS you can play a blank track found in #sky-music to mute bg sound in-game. Otherwise, you're out of luck.

But yes, if there is some odd memory leak, older devices or ones developers don't keep upstreamed with Linux main line will be more susceptible to that issue due to being out of date. There are always improvements to Linux source. I get update emails weekly on the stable updates and push them to my phone.

Nope, its not just you crashing. Taking screenshots was a fairly common issue a while back, but several updates have since patched this.

@mint storm Sorry for the late reply, but gmail cannot be unlinked manually. It has to be done via Support, so unless you've done that, the reason why you're still accessing your 'guest' data is bcs its still linked to an active gmail on your device.

What you can try is log out of that gmail, clear Sky data, then launch it again. Just make sure you're not signed into that gmail when you relauch Sky anew.

It is a security thing. A lot of malware developers kinda screwed it up for the rest of us on that front with some older versions of Android having that open for a long time (back in the Gingerbread/KitKat days) then they started recording and uploading the screen capture data and audio to advertisers and god knows what else without the user's consent.

Hey Fire, one way to do so is to unlink your current Sky account from FB and Game Center. Since you cant unlink Sky from your gmail, you'll need to send in a request to Support to unlink for you.

After that it's a matter of logging out of the gmail on your device so that when you clear Sky's data and start anew, it doesnt try to reboot your old account by auto-linking to your gmail.

Alternatively, you could just send in a request to Support to.wipe your game data, but Im not sure if thats been done before or.is possible

I have an H9 glass protector and have had no issues. I would suggest a screen touch testing app to make sure it isn't an issue with your screen protector.

Ghost touches are a thing with plastic protectors when holding a finger on the screen like you would with this game.

Whenever you encounter any graphical glitches such as scary clouds or fog in your face simply adjust your graphics settings and it will clear it up. Just be warned, if you had ever gone into the sanctuary in that current play through it may crash your game.

That's called your bitrate. If a video has a low bit-rate it will have pixelization. Some screen recording apps allow you to increase the bitrate. lowering the resolution of the recording can help with pixelization as a bit rate could keep up with the resolution. Increasing the bit rate will increase the file size of the video.

Sanctuary was introduced during the last update and it still has some bugs so after u go to sanctuary, restart your game to avoid crashing after a screenshot attempt.

Yes, it is a known issue. Please see ktjn's response above your post. TGC made some optimizations in the Sanctuary to hopefully fix the issue.
