So light created darkness, the more light the more darkness and so. Since light creatures are used to created power diamonds they are forced to created a lot of light which produced at the same time a lot of darkness and this darkness evolution into a new creature like an alter ego, so krills are mantas that were forced to created powers diamond. In the same time of this theory makes sense that the same happened to the prince, some how they created a lot of light that makes a new personality or person the king

You know how skykids are stars? what if sky kids did star things?
Solar flare would be a moment where their eyes glow really bright and then they pass out for a few seconds.
Sometimes, they explode and leave stardust everywhere when really excited or scared
Theyre really warm to the touch. When they stand in water, it actually boils around them.
They have a small rumbling around them at all times. Just the natural sound stars make from neucular fission
They are radioactive. Being carried by a skykid from isle to prarie gives you a dangerous dose of radiation

This reply goes to a headcannon /au from tumblr. Voidkids. Skykids who didnt make it back from orbit because they met the source of the darkness, and it forever changes them. That could be a black hole and the Lifeless statues that we revive in eden are dead stars.

When stars age, their core gets smaller while the outer gaseous wall gets larger. Thats why you get the planitary cloud when a star is near a collapse, also why stars get bigger and bigger as they age, but suddenly puff into a white dwarf more or less. Its because of the way the fission works. Maybe the reason the elders are so large compared to the kids (not matching human aging ratios) is because their bodies match star aging ratios, having a really big body, but a very tiny core

More than likely, the dead cores are the statues we go to to begin with. In this theory, skykids somehow deage stars, which has always been possible in theory. If oyu look at the size of the statues of the elders vs the size of them in the animations, the cutscenes have them MUCH larger. Its already confirmed that skykids have some lack lusture power over time and timeslines ||namely that Eden is set in the very distant future in a different timeline, and we can access it and profit from it regularly||so its not unreasonable to assume that the SkyKids have some other form of supernatural powers,. Or maybe its the World that theyre in? Idk, superpowered children that are the incarnate of stars

reminder we got supernatural elements to contend with. the Eden calamity could very well be likened to a nuclear meltdown – perhaps the big diamond was intended as a power source of some sort or a symbol to the ancestors' idolaty toward power diamonds and darkstone tech over the light. but something went wrong, causing the, well, Eden calamity. likely an explosion given the wreckage. but the giant diamond corrupted and is powering the Eden Storm, spreading darkness as it consumes light.

A little lore I came up with about Golden Wastland and Vault which matched up with a lot of my ocs

So basically a long time ago, before a big corruption outbreak/war. Golden Wastland used to be just another part of The Vault and was regarded as such and it was originally used to harbor many of Sky's bigger creatures without them bothering wandering Sky children. Though now, it serves as a way to separate Eden from the rest of Sky. The (sand/snow) and sky had a much lighter blue tint instead of it's now stale-ish grey one, and the sky were filled with bright starts and constellations and the (sand or snow) there glistened just as bright. A lot of the creatures there consisted of bigger Mantas, massive Whales, and also Krills. Krills back then only existed in Wasteland. They were know as ' respectful protectors ' and their bodies would absorb darkness that sneaked past Edens gate and convert it into light. They weren't very tame though and would ignore most Sky Children or the Elders that where there. Alot of the creatures took on different forms there as well, The Whales and Krill looked more like the cosmic manta that exist now, instead of how they look at the moment.

the air prophet does apply to most of these hints, while others are just extensions that the devs like to ellaborate on with the spirit.

For instance, the air trail focuses on climbing on sheets of ice and snow to the top, so stumbling is something you dont want to happen. Making the prophet a master at not stumbling.

Dusty relates to the emote of dusting oneself off.
rock climbing also ties into the air trail.
the dare mention could related to the daring task of scaling heights such as the air trail.
the challenge may relate to the air trail being difficult to master as the winds are unpredictable and the ice makes landing tricky.

Which may be the Megabird, or a star.

Other colours of Sky may include, White for Purity (such as Light creatures), Red for Corruption (being a warped shade of the golden hue), Blue for the Ancestors, and naturally, Black for Darkness.

The elder is a tall figure with a staff.
Since the story takes place in Dawn, and mentions that the figure is near or in the Temple, it would more likely than not be referring to the Dawn Elder.

Blue is associated with loss in Sky.
You briefly become blue when consuming light to flap your wings, the dark plants appear blue because they're constantly using up light (absorbing), diamonds glow blue when lit up cause they're using light, dead ancestors (spirits) appear blue, etc etc.

So it's not just exclusive to Ancestors, they represent loss, and mainly associated with consumption/loss of light

Eden was also supposed to be blue in early, but it got changed to red (I heard that it was because it wasn't scary enough, but not too sure on this)

We could Probably theorize a whole complex timeline of seasons, it’s just hard to figure out where to start for some. Here’s my general notes on how I see it, but they’re really messy, sorry.

• Assembly Is post apocalypse as well and that’s why all the spirits there has to survive on their own
• prophets are part of an earlier generation but not Too early. They were right around/before the stars fell
• rhythm and performance take place at the same time, both around the same time as valley spirits (I mean. Duh)

Yea you’re pretty much spot on. Abyss spirits were described as “scavengers,” perhaps struggling to survive low on resources in the post-apocolypse.

Murals on the Forgotten Ark depict boats attacked by krill or crashing in a storm, which could be the Eden storm. Also the spirits too are struggling to survive in the Wasteland and the Wasteland wasn’t always a wasteland. Salem coined the theory that the Enchantment crew were emigrating from Isle to escape the desertification or to carry Isle culture to the Vault to be preserved.

Season of Prophecy is all about finding a Chosen One who might’ve been crowned to lead the kingdom during the ancestor era. The Prophets maintain the Trials the Chosen One had to go through.

My idea is that there's a spectral realm beneath the waters in orbit that only dead-dead spirits can go to
Since sky kids simply get reborn, we are unable to go the the spectral realm, but other spirits can. So they often go to and fro while others have a more permanent spot such as the seasonal guides. Which is also why we get travelling spirits. They decide to drop by the mortal realm and perhaps sell their stuff to Sky kids for that precious candle wax.
Then my headcanon for Mr Ghost is that they originally belonged in this spectral realm as well as Ghost Jellies but got lost and ended up in Office. Many years past and they end up becoming a shell of themselves but a spirit finally found them, giving them hope and bringing them back to the Spectral realm where they belong. And I personally want to believe that this is Sir Rhys that found them and brought them back.

Some are on the ground and tend to act as barriers, or borders between areas or places that are out of bounds in the game (see Dawn for example, as a realm that is at sea level, yet clouds exist to obscure the island and frame the temple).
Eden may be the highest point in the game (aside from Orbit), however, it is at the centre of a storm of Darkness.
Hell in the game is not necessarily shown, or directly mentioned.
While Eden is implied to be a paradise by name, the realm itself is a chaotic mess that is tinted Red.

Nobody really gave you an answer, which is a little weird considering we have a pretty good guess of what happened, so here it is. You know how Eden looks corrupted and weird and all and has that shaky Diamond in the middle? The current guess is that it got corrupted first and spewed that darkness to all the other realms/exploded, and that’s what set off the apocalypse. This is why it seems to be the epicenter of all the corruption and the spot that looks the worst.

There was supposedly one point where the starting area in Eden had gravestones for skykids to interact with the vault spirit (for some reason).
Though that has been removed since there are graves stones at the start of the Vault realm already showcasing the realm's spirits (sans the season spirits), and there are no spirits in the Eden realm for skykids to save.

Honestly, with the second quest allowing our skids to tell their story (Meeting the Isle Elder in the 'weak' version is probably ours, and one or two others might be too), I like to imagine the skid becoming a part of the crew and their experiences now get passed on as well.

Normally you have oral storytelling and stuff passed on by adults, but the skids getting in on that kind of feels like one day this world will be theirs' too instead of just stagnation.

I want to revisit this subject when Harmony Hall opens because there is a lore thing but beta spoilers

Ideas about the 2nd quest story:

Most of the stories are not mutually exclusive and depending on the story, the "star" and "child" in the story are different from what it is in another story. Given enough time, we can arrange the stories into a biggol timeline.

perhaps the "weak" Isle Elder story are from skykids who have been around near the beginning of the descendant era, who were awakening the Elders for the first time, so the Elders were low on light and not as powerful as they are now. overtime, as more skykids visited the Elders and provided light offerings, the Elders regained their strength and surety over the situation. later-generation skids would be the ones telling the tale about the stronger Isle Elder.
