I always thought it used to be a great city, maybe even a great hub for the world. Maybe not the capital (the place with the castle probably is) but close.

It housed the Archive even then, being a great hub of civilization and all.

It probably was like London during the Industrial Revolution, having all those pipes and waste. Maybe was a great center for energy. Maybe the scholars in the Archive studied it or even were the ones who created and/or them

Once stuff started going sour, the city became a fortress to protect the Archive and a sanctuary for survivors. Idk if there was a civil war during this time or that it was a war against the krill but I think it’s clear that it became a place that was the main line of defense to protect the Archive for the skids (and maybe formerly, to protect the castle, the King’s abode).

The current season just started in Live too, and it can be a little sad to already be talking about the next thing in testing instead of what's happening now. well, the valley of truimph seems to have two themes, as far as I can tell.
There is Competition (such as Olympic sports, combat and racing) and then theatre (like that in gladiator arenas as well as stage performance).

I would not think it is impossible for the valley elder to have once been one entity and possibly focused on one of the themes, but then the twins became more prevalent as the valley became more divided, so to speak.

If the realms followed one another chronologically, then the valley of triumph represents the growing divide among the people. While some pursue the development of technology (the dark stone), others start to notice the effects and can either not keep up (being poor) or distance themselves to find a different way forward (possibly retrace their steps and attempt to preserve their resources such as clean the water and stop the corruption.

I'd like to think they could have been just one person. But then they were fractured into two pieces, which resulted in the twins. Since they are immortal deities, not gods, but almost as powerful, they reformed into two entities that rule as one. This might explain the throne being split, but still interpreted as one throne and how they are treated as one ruling member and not two distinct rulers.

If they were split at on point, it would be interesting if they could recall being split. Or they cannot recall the time before the split and always thought they were meant to rule together as a representation the element of competition in the realm.

Interesting thing, the possibility of the elders being one being, would have to occur before the elders even ruled over the realms, based on the concept art for the old lore.
I keep referring to the concept art as 'old lore' as some of the ideas the concept art had, might be changed or removed in the current lore.
In the concept art, there were always two elders (twins), as far as I can tell from Tom Zhao's work.

We assume elders don’t age because of “elders where always elders” and because it fits the narrative of a certain theory. They would be like angels or something. Not exactly born, but prolly created starting at the age they are now. That being said, baby elders fanart is still highly enjoyed.

In the early times of the game (before the android release, possibly the beta stages), the races used to have teams.
You sit at one of the gates and your cape turns either blue or red. You then help other players on your team collect more light fragment (which were butterflies ❤️ ) than the opposing team. At the end of the race, the points are tallied and the flags turn to the winning team's colour.
It was a cool idea, though I wonder why it was removed later on.

Either way, yes, there are two distinct sides/teams, that are red and blue.
Red seems to be the dominant colour in the arena area outside the temple, so I believe that is the high society's colour. While blue would be associated with the lower society (such as the dream village).

Funny enough, this could be a subtle nod to the Shakespearean story of Romeo and Julliet. The Capulets (Juliet's family) wore red, and the Montagues (Romeo's family) wore blue. (If I am wrong, feel free to correct me. It was a while since I read it).

A butterfly could be a player that has reach rank 10 on their capes (120 winged light), and are aware of the major facts of the lore (i.e. there is a missing elder for eden/ the used to be a king).

The game is 2 years old. And there is not doubt about players who have been on since 2019 are Veterans.
My question is, what would be the milestone for players to become veterans, or at least an expert of the game?
Would it be playing for a year, getting all the elder hair, playing through a certain amount of seasons, or having the maximum rank of winged light (over 150)?

I would not count cosmetics, especially paid cosmetics as there are players that either do not own a cosmetic from the time they joined, or prefer not to buy any cosmetics with in app purchases.

I would say butterflies are those who already reached a higher winged light amount and have the most knowledge of the things in the game, but not the lore itself

Sips tea and wears sunglasses moths are new players in a sense that can range in a way of having at least a few months of experience and are still slightly new to the game by enough time, butterflies or dragonflies because it sounds cool are just people that been around for enough time above 6-7 Months and above and at least been through the madness of the game and can at least understand most of it or above and just may be involved in something way. These guys can at least be at a range of where they have enough experience and nothing else, their are sub parts by time and that is all, got it. I am going to just say Veterans doesn’t have to be by constellation or progresses mostly by how people may not attend to that if they don’t want to.

I also get how the cosmetics are not reliable indicators. While they are good indicators to if a player is someone who made an in app purchase, or been in a past season with an ultimate gift; it may not apply to all players.

Perhaps the time past could be a good way to determine a 'rank' or title for the game.
As in, moth for new players who joined less than 6 months ago in the game (As you said).
Then butterflies are getting the hang of playing the game and been playing for a while.

Now, for the gap between butterfly and veteran is a something I am not sure about.

Would it be fair to suggest that a player who has been in the game for more than a year, could be promoted to a bird/manta?

One is the leaping spirit from season of rhythm (rabbit mask, found in the ice rink area with water under it) and the cheering spectator (a normal spirit you can find in the area outside the temple, at the end of the race).

Idk if any of you have heard of the book Brave Story, but the hug moment reminded me a bit of a scene from the story where the main protag has to accept the dark side of himself (he’s fighting an aggressive magic doppelgänger) and ends the fight peacefully when he accepts himself by hugging it.

His more evil rival doesn’t turn out so great. Kid fights the magic clone and stabs it...and so stabs himself

Idk why but this theory reminded me of a theory I have where Skykids are just the imagination of all the other creatures and beings in Sky. For the spirits they’re hope. For the krills they’re something to feed on. For the mantas, someone to befriend, as the little prince says. This is why no matter how hard we try we can never reach the end. We can never save the world of Sky. And also why there is an endless amount of accessories the spirits can give out (cuz everyone who plays Sky could get the same accessories and still it would never run out.) This might just be a dumb theory and I don’t know much about Sky lore but that’s what I’ve got.

Sure his spears are hazards and skykids narrowly miss vetting hit by them.

Sighs the lights that the ark has are from the lightseekers by what I remember and I have to tell that the elements of the Prophecy came first and the other light elements can be found in locations that relate to the current and pass area those elements could have been and are currently are connected to by locations that they stay at. The Water light at the Ice ring is to represent the pass of the several rivers of the area and such while the orange light in the Forest means the pass location of the fire element, the forest before it went into the Wasteland. The lights that the ark people use are elements, but more like lesser elements mostly how little impact they can be seen giving to just one location.

What are the uses of the ark lights

They mostly seemed to be lesser elemental parts of the original fallen element lights that have been used and harnessed by the Ark people to help in the making of spells that are gathering points of light to cast and project out some physical enough to touch and interact with what certain purpose they are suppose to do on a small enough scale. The lights from the Ark are able to effect a area in a way by how they are used to improved the ark, but they don’t seemed to effect a very large area outside of the ark itself. The elements used by them are very weak compared to the Main core elements since with the elements having been move like the Water element for the forest, it started raining from the mismatch and the wind element to valley which just seemed to be shaped heavily and frozen over. Wasteland would probably not be hell if it wasn’t the fact the Fire element should be in forest because of how much darkness it could hold in there and just allow the fire to manage it.

Looking at the different light orbs for the season of enchantment:
◎⃝⃘ Red - represents growth and evolution, it could represent a god or the force of life.
💠 Purple - is feminine and could represent a doorway for spirits to pass into the material world, according to alchemy.
🔥 Orange - Has no recognisabel alchemy symbol, though with the in game lore, could represent the life giving flame. So, it is either is represented by the skykids completing the life cycle, or the act of ascending.
💧 Blue - represent water. It could represent purifying water.
≋ Cyan - could be connected to Egyptian symbolism of flowing water. I am not sure where to place it with facts to support it. It could be just flowing air, which could suggest some of the elements could be refined (such as combining air and water).
🜁 Green - is an alcehmical symbol for air. If this was meant to be earth, then the symbol should be like this > 🜃. This one is also troublesome while looking for facts to support possible meanigns.

All in all, the season was my first and this season seemed to be the first one to have an actual narrative for players to follow along. Also, it is the earliest season you can relive the quests for.

It is possible that TGC might have made a mistake with the symbols, or the drink is muddling my judgement (seriously, after accepting that cocktail, I had to correct so many spelling errors!)

Though I am liking the time travel theory, I digress with the temples of the realms representing different states of ruin (becoming less stable).
True, the building style, architecture, can show how the ancestors progress and became more advanced. Though the temples have different designs, and thus represent the elders and their realms.
One can also consider the possibility of the architecture of Eden, or what is left of it to be the most advanced. Places where you could use for evidence is the giant statues being the most complex (you can study them form a distance in Point of no return and at the start of the ascension flight. The structures at the very start of eden and the gaint door at the start of the ascension section.

I have this theory where Skykids are just the imagination of all the other creatures and beings in Sky. For the spirits they’re hope. For the krills they’re something to feed on. For the mantas, someone to befriend, as the little prince says. This is why no matter how hard we try we can never reach the end. We can never save the world of Sky. And also why there is an endless amount of accessories the spirits can give out (cuz everyone who plays Sky could get the same accessories and still it would never run out.) This might just be a dumb theory and I don’t know much about Sky lore but that’s what I’ve got.
