I have also now realized why we only get the ultimate rewards from elders when we finish and complete every branch from the constellations, once we help the spirits with their “unfinished business” and finally finish returning them to the stars the elders thank us for helping their realm citizens.

I meant technically, all statues are able to be saved, even ourselves. But the ratio is still off

Theres only 63 statues. The ratio is always off. But thats a new feature. The other players in the room with you in eden will become statues upon death, but do not need to be given a wing buff. At least thats how it was my last eden.

But actually I’m surprised at Sky importing The Little Prince into its universe. The Prince of literature is kind and wise, but the Prince of Sky is a clever, conniving boy who corrupted Eden and other locales, presumably after the Inhabitants made some blunder and called down the stars.

Each realm is supposedly shrouded in darkness. With the reception of vault, each realm has dark plants present (even dawn, they are under the temple, by the 'no' spirit).
With dawn having the least amount of darkness present, it is reasonable to assume it is th furthest realm, so would not have gotten as much darkness, while wasteland would have the most amount of darkness present before reaching Eden.

Is there a reason why Vault is the only realm with no darkness plants? Aside from the ruins, crabs and spirit animals and ancestors, there is not much else that suggests the realm is corrupted.

It makes sense for sky to have a strong connection to childhood fairytales.
Tales like Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins and so on, carry life lessons similar to most Fables (the rabbit and the hare for example).
The little prince being included in the game makes the connection very clear, at least to my understanding.

For instance, I dont agree with the creation theory, though believe the skykids are from the heavens, like a falling star.
For me, there is a difference between being created by humans for a purpose, and being a creation of a deity to complete a cycle of life. So, they are sort of like living beings, though certainly dont seem human.

Come to think of it, the camera panning up to the sky and the stars falling before panning back down is a nice subtle way of showing something did happen but TGC did not want to spoil that secret just yet. Though it is pretty nice of them showing what they envisioned the world of sky with new visuals.

Who knows, before reaching isle and what looks like a promised land, the surroundings look quite wild and hostile. They didn’t reveal everything, like always...
I found very accurate the robes and designs they made for creatures (a mix of primitive, exotic and bohemian style). It contrasts a little with the polished civilisation of Sky.

True, something of a larger magnitude must have landed on this very position to create such a crater. Based on the position of the adjacent boats, it seems to have come from behind the temple. I also speculate erosion and degredation but the boats suggest an impact. A catastrophic event.

Even with the game using the water around the desert to mark the borders, the trailer showed the grassy field (now desert) used to be much bigger than what it is now.
Though I think it is less to do with climate change or any in game event, though more like a limitation of the phone devices the game is running on.

There is the pointing candle maker's cut scene showing a young ancestor boarding a boat and on their way to the temple.
The fact that the ancestors would commonly leave offering of gratitude at the temples.
And how the temples allows visitors to travel through and resume their journey.

Idk if this qualifies as an idea for new lore but last night I had a dream about sky children of light where I saw this little moth girl wandering through a dark cavern and as she was climbing up a steep part of the cavern at the top was her older sister, but she was like a Child Of Dark you could say. When the younger one walked past the older sister, the older one stepped back into the shadows so she wouldnt be seen. After that there was this long passage way with the light bird thingys, after that passage way some guy with a sledgehammer ambushed and killed the little moth girl. Then the older sister caught up to where she was and found the younger sister's body in a small offshoot and she watched her sister's death through the little girls newly formed spirit. And that's where the dream ended

-skykids are actually blind and rely on echolocation and the emotes that require sight are mimicries of spirits who had eyes(ie lookout scout’s expression)
-the mask is a way for skids to cope with the darkness in the world as they are children in a sense and see things differently than others

-skids eyes are made of pure light and would be functional vibe checks so they wear masks to avoid hurting others

The maskless frature, I assume, is to imply they keep the glowing eyes to a minimum as part of the cosmetic. Other wise, we have a maskless skykid with glowing eyes.
When clipping into the head carefully, you will see the eyes are always closed for the model.

Though this may be mostly because of the look and not because of the skykid willingly closing their eyes while running, flying and sliding through the realms.

It does though pose an interesting question about if a skykid has glowing eyes because of the mask, or do they alsways have eyes that are glowing like the fire in their chests.

So basically a skykid can canonically have glowing eyes much like the pure light burning in their chests. Which would also explain the little bit of illumination they provide in the darker parts of the game like caves and stuff

I do wonder how can one prove this canonically in the game though.
As much as I like this theory, there is very little in game evidence as most skykids, elders and spirits wear masks. The spirits that don't wear masks do not seem to have glowing eyes.
I'll have to investigate this a bit further to be sure though.
I wonder if a maskless spirit is related to their profession.

Also wonder what does a mask represent in the game. Would it be like their identity within a faction or is it a status symbol?

a thought i recently had is that the recent animation of sky proves that a enviromental cataclysm happened inside the world of sky and that there are gigantic realms far away from isle, the trevelers go from a dessert to huge steppes of land to a kind of forest but with different kind of fauna, im looking forward to see more lore about the geography of the world of sky, i like how they made clear that this is a entire world and there's things that are very far away from us

Not only that, there are also candles that can be lit down there and skykids can fly through the water in there too!

It would more sense to me if the plane of water in there is either lower or removed, making the space under the ice a cool cavern (pun intended)!

A pantheon of gods that grant boons to the mortals like fire, transport, food and even how to make life easier.

Adding on what I just said and with what you said in mind. What if it is the ancestors can also creat butterflies?

Here is what can supoort this theory.
Murals and architecture show how the spirits draw inspiration of their respective elders in the kingdoms.
For example, spirits used boats as transport in dawn as the elder in dawn specialises in transport (shown with old beta scenes, the elder's mask has a detail with a boat, uses a staff and as seen in murals).
Then the forest elder creates diamonds from dark stone and the ancestors do the same as seen in murals and how these diamonds power boats and gates.

I am not going to analyse each elder now, though will look into it.

As for the priarie elder, the butterflies are made of light the ancestors gathern store in jars and bring to the temple (see laugh and wave spirits for evidence).
So even with the elder not present when skykids are around, the spirits did bring them to the temple and then used the butterflies to make diamonds in forest (see the butterfly jar in the forest temple as well as the mural in the door to the temple).

These butterflies do seem to live a long time as well as most light creatures that have not been corrupted or hunted.

I have a theory on krills actually. Krills were once some kind of light creature, like a manta or something. But then the ancestors started draining their light for energy. Evident with a contraption in forest that takes energy from mantas So with the light drained, these creatures became krill, who are hungry for light. So they attack you because you are light.

Sorry for the absesne by the way, I was exploring sky and noticed something interesting in eden.
It is still painfully hard to get to the point of no return tunnel with the wind (be careful in there guys).

First off the gate has a unique shape in the middle, it is oddly reminiscent to how the old intro showed the elders being connected to the eden elder (prince/king) , but it is 5 masks connected to each other instead.
My thoughts are these 5 people are the guardians that sealed the gates to eden.
And these people might belong either to the round sheild and spear faction or the blades and diamond shaped shield faction.

Speaking of that, remember the weapons in wasteland?
You can see the same 'sun/star' shields in the tiny temple at the top of the cliff in the first area. And with the one on the left-hand side is broken, and a pair of blades rests beside it. :SkyThink:

Other parts of eden also shows terribly damaged ruins but somehow still vaguely resemble the architecture of wasteland, but one that is just about ready to crumble away as the wind and rocks pummel at the walls.
Some of these details had diamonds or star symbols, so these might give us a clue to which side eden would be on.
I am certain it is not on the megabird's side given how it destroys the environment and how it clearly contrasts what the megabird represents.

I may go back and try to get screenshots to show these details, though it is late, I am sleepy and also got a bit scared near the end.

Normally, eden would not scare me, because I run it every week. But this time I was wearing headphones and was listening for audio ques.

While at the point of no return, collecting winged light, I heard an soft ominous sound that got louder the further I went in.
It could have been the wind coming from the other side of the tunnel since it is the metaphorical eye of the storm, but is also sounded like a low moan or a harrowing distant scream. I quickly went home and called it quits for the day.

Fun fact, when you tap on yourself in any other realm to see the icon that leads you to the temple, look in the other direction of said temple and tap on the icon. If you listen carefully, you will hear a sound as the camera pans towards the temple. I dont know what the sound is, but it is one I have not heard in the game before.

My headcanon is that the bells signifies the megabird calling out to skykids, and how the frame comes to a point at the top of the bell frame.

As far as we know, the entrance to Vault/end of Wasteland is located below the Storm/Eden, which is why Starlight Desert is so vast as it's below the clouds, so to speak. But something interesting to note is that the Little Prince isn't from around Sky. As you can tell, he has blonde hair unlike the white/silver, peach fair skin unlike the dark grey, and different outfit choices.
While many of you may say, "Ah, that's because this is a collaboration! There's no actual lore!" Well, you're wrong and I'll prove it!
The Vault of Knowledge is more of a central hub of things, connecting places from beyond for exploration, and most importantly, knowledge. An example is the Office. Many would think that it isn't tied, however I like to think it's an alternate reality where Sky would exist as a game but never finished as the world is still ever unfolding itself. Hence why the Office only has spirits left due to abandonment.
The Starlight Desert was brought to the Vault by it's own mystical gravitational force to teach Sky kids about a kid, a Little Prince and his rose. Due to the difference in reality, the warp of transportation had gone and changed the story a tad bit, though keeping the Prince and Rose' personality the same.

I would explain further however I have to wait for the final quest Hence, have this massive brainfart.

However, only some spoilers are told. For example, the concept arts, the Point of No Return, the Office, Orbit, etc. Others that are in the Beta or haven't come out yet eg. the 7th Quest for <insert current season> which hasn't come out yet are not to be discussed.
The only rules are that canon lore stays the same, the lore is open-ended (up to the players), and what is in Beta stays in Beta.

I got in with a galaxy A30 for what it is worth.
It got a bit laggy and lost connection at the very start, but that's becaues of the activity, not the device or the internet. That and it stabilized not long after entering.
