Another minimum requirements reward is the barrier to the Shipwreck area (if you get at least 1 spirit saved in GW, you can skip the krills infested area)

From the 3rd floor(forest) of vault everything we see was stored knowledge of that level.
I think vault one is just a projection and this is real summit

So the vault is either in another world(like ancestors are) or it's truly broken

We can also see that island in orbit when at the top of the bottom half of the castle

My own theory based on the updated ushering stargazer spirit memory and the murals in the cave of prophecy is that, while the ancestors were alive, the child of light fell to the realms of sky, completed the 4 trials, and gave the power of the 4 trials, water, earth, air, and fire to the ancestors who became 4 of the 6 elders.
Prairie, Forest, Valley, and Wasteland.
The child of light ascended Eden, and is the character we see when we die, and leaves imprints as the winged light throughout the realms.

With the power of the trials, the elders terraformed their realms, leading to industry and the downfall of their society. Create the spell blessings, becoming merchants similar to those we see in Enchantment, and collectors of light, as we see in Lightseekers.

The child of light, now trapped in orbit either directly or indirectly through some other power, gives us the instructions from the intro to bring the stars back home to the last hope for this world, I. E. The descendants, sky kids, us.

so the seasons show us little by little the history

I was thinking that, because the Wasteland seems to be a factory-turned battlefield, maybe the Krill were meant to be a weapon?

It is, well I think, Krill is an advanced bioengineered apex combat machine to counter off enemies during era of Human. They abandoned it probably because Krill becomes glitch and hostile towards anything alive.

Maybe... actually, considering that mural there, I think I might retract my theory.

Maybe the Krill existed all along, and only became a huge problem much later during the Kingdom's collapse.

Actually, I have a theory that either the battle that took place in the Wasteland, or the Krill themselves, got all the way to the Valley, but the strong winds kept them mostly at bay.

That is pretty much my idea. A little element which might point it out is that krills might have different sizes.
It's hard to tell ,not sure if the Eden ones are bigger, but on the shipwreck we find something spiky which I always seen as small sizes of krills, maybe along the ages they fed on all light they could spot and grew into this huge monsters we know (meaning they cannot be machines)

in the intro cutscene, it's pretty much implied the elder's were straight-up kicked out of wherever they come from, like fallen angels style. at least that's how i see it. They lived godly lives until they didn't and were cast down to the sky earth, where they pulled ancestor spirits into their thrall and built kingdoms trying to achieve greatness (perhaps attempting to ascend back to godhood?) a lot of this is speculation of course. One thing is for sure though: the elders are not "good people" in the common sense of the term. They exhibit a ton of flaws and are surely responsible for what happened to the civilization they created

The only thing not fitting is the fact we now see the memory of the first sky kid falling, which can mean our species (kids) arrived even before the all Ancenstors died.

But It can mean the Elders arrived on Sky from Orbit long before us

In my head canon, for example, Elders weren't casted away

I think they forsaw from Orbit the coming of a Great Darkness (maybe the cold end of the Universe) and decided to reach the souls of the Ancestors who needed to be saved into ascension.

But in doing that, they lost their divine rights and had to help the Children-kind with empowering technology only to fail by causing the Eden Catalysm and possible the War (but I don't think it was a civil war, I think it was the Siege of the Krills)

Until our kind arrive, the Sky Kids, possibly their only hope to stop the Eden Giant Power Diamond or at least, saving all Ancestor souls into ascension

Yeah I think Elders are actually incredibly tall, depending on how much strength they have left

Valley Elders were the shortest, even at their full power because their strength is split upon two consciousnesses/bodies (in my headcanon, but I’ve got some actual evidence from the game ofc)

Somewhat unrelated, but I've come to sort of a conclusion

I believe that it is absolutely true that whatever conflict took place in the Wasteland, whatever caused the Dark Dragons to become as they are now...

It absolutely stretched as far as the exit of the Valley's Temple.

There's collapsed buildings at the exit where there clearly should have been some sort of bridge or careful climb down. There's markers along the cloud-covered descent that signal the tops of buildings. There's even a toppled structure you can land on in there. Heck, the exit itself is only obscured by a thick curtain, which wouldn't have been needed if there was a door there like there might have once been.

The Elders severed ties with them for a reason. The Eye of Eden is laced and coated with Darkness and infested with Dark Dragons and Corrupted Crabs for a reason.
