Hey so you remember the diamond shields in wasteland right? Well I found this exact same symbol on the arch ways in Hidden Forrest!

Now I don't have any evidence for this next part, but I think the Sun symbol was either associated with the Golden Wasteland or Valley of Triumph (as the daylight prairie seems a bit to small and friendly to have soilders)

ANYWAYS that means the shields could either represent 2 dueling Factions (rainforest vs GW or Valley) or it could be an symbol representing where the soilder is from/where the weapon was forged

As all 3 areas were technologically advanced and capable of making things like that

Alright so the sun probably represents the golden wasteland as I found this diamond symbol present in both the DP and Valley

The valley however seems to have a more intricate version of the diamond symbol present though

Valley also has this symbol as well (which is also present in the beginning area of Eden)

NEVERMIND I have no idea who the Sun Shield represents

Maybe it's just a alternate design for the weapons of the Sky millitary

or maybe it's just rebels

True. I just hadn’t noticed them before.
It’s also worth noting that Ancestor designs are intentionally made by the developers to be or appear to be bottom heavy, and aesthetically used triangles to help convey that. It was to show they’re “grounded” and earthy. However these are one of the few items to either not have an up-facing triangle, nor diamond. (I’m ignoring the triangle made by negative space, because that approach isn’t used elsewhere).
If it’s an inverted triangle, does that mean it holds something from the sky? Butterflies are from the sky, but they’re held in the square jars with diamond indentations. Also, these are top-heavy jars in design, an inverse of everything else the ancestors designed.
Just food for thought.

That would explain why the GW elder would have both shields and why the end section of the first part of eden (which is presumably an barracks or armory) has them as well!

You see it on valley and gw buildings

The other day someone said sunset. But I think it’s more like a pattern about earth connection. Like physical world. And the reversed triangle on the top of Eden spire could represent something related to the sky, like “hanging from heaven”.
This is a pattern we cross when the civilisation has evolved. I don’t know, I’m just throwing ideas in hope someone find a better connection.
Or maybe this is just a pattern the past civilisation shared on its architecture. From valley till the end there are variations on buildings.

Rectification. They are also on the isle of dawn temple’s doors.

Diamond shapes are also on tombs. So it could be a representation of light or the ethereal world. Crystals use light, if they have diamond shape it’s maybe because they are related to something highly immaterial.
Or nothing more than an artistic direction for the game to look globally connected.

Yes hh,, it used to act as Forest's social area back in Light Awaits when HF didn't have its own SA. The cloud tunnel there used to lead you straight to the rain area but now leads you to the Forest SA.

The boats are actually different styles

1. "If only they had listened" was referring to the elders. The elders went down a dark path, which led to their destruction, and the world of sky being enveloped in darkness.
2. The person, or rather, thing you hear speaking is Megabird. The god of sky. The center of all light. Every light being, sky kids, creatures, elders, etc, come from megabird. Megabird blessed the world of sky with another descendant, in hopes we could save what has happened.

No. Well... The eden elder was part of the problem.

Short summary, they stopped worshipping megabird. They started focusing on upgrading themselves, and abused the resources given to them. They sapped the light out of the world for their own selfish needs, and overpowered the creatures that were also living in sky.

They got so advanced, it came to their end. The story of the epic battle at eden... Oh boy just thinking of what happened there. 👀💦💦

In the end, the eden elder was punished for his actions. But it could not remove the damage him and the elders had created.

I think they were warned when they fell from the sky. And they reproduced their errors in the sky world. “If only they had listened.” It’s like giving them a second chance they spoiled.

There was three battles. The battle in forest, and the battle in wasteland, along with the final battle in eden.

They were warned because they started using dark stone technology in a way that was.. not good.

Well. No. But it did give them too much power.

And in the end, the dark stones were used to imprison the Eden elder, aka the king.

Note how, in both wasteland and forest, you can't see eden. Because the elders didn't want to be seen by megabird. They were somewhere forbidden.

The dark stone crystals were discovered to be able to take light, and convert it to energy. Which the elders used to their advantage, by upgrading tech. However, the way to make dark stone crystals, aka power crystals, was not humane. It required combing dark crystal ore and the light from a creature.

Here's the dark stone press from forest temple, where they originally figured out how to make darkstone.

There's a bunch more scattered in golden wasteland, but they're all broken.

And damage.

Here's the things they used to trap the light creatures

Batteries can be seen in forest.

The creatures attacked, but were overpowered by the elders and ancestors.

Just like we see the top of valley buildings submerged under clouds at the end of valley. Those two realms were connected.

I think that the spirit was melting/mining dark plants for darkstone in that cave. Meanwhile, Dismayed Hunter shoots down a whale in the distance, which falls down into the forest boneyard. This also causes the cave which the Tearful Lightminer and her friends are in, and they soon DIE

You can see in this image that the face extends down too far, with empty space behind the chin since it is a mask. Also, if you look at edges of the face, you can see an outline of a lighter color, indicating the side of the mask beyond the face part.

Nothing in prairie, they updated the map before and moved things.
The underground cavern in sunny forest and the family table with chimney.
The maze in valley’s temple.
The archive in Vault (that changed at least twice since first time live).
Forest was just the meeting point at the beginning and at the end of that season. It wasn’t really focused on this realm.
