how does it look like a manta?
Im just saying lmao
i'm actually interested in your theory
I think it looks like a manta
Doesent look like a bird tho
Supercluster are massive accumulations of galaxies
Galaxies have stars
Stars = skykids
Fallen stars = spirits and skykids maybe?
If we consider that megabird supercluster can be considered god since it can create life like real superclusters in our own universe
megabird, in lore and concept art , looks a bit like this (rough drawing)
In the end both views are correct
its usually a round ball with several squiggly lines
That looks like one of those jellyfishes in eden
But i get the idea
here it is! megabird
Ah it makes sense
Yeah now ur asociation with those pillars are true
But something isnt right for me
why those pillars point to sanctuary islands?
And not
Orbir
*orbit
Ik its a ingame stuff but if its part of megabird culture then why only at sanctuary?
And not like
At vault
Or valley even
maybe TGC just found the pillar fancy and added them, lets be real, maybe TGC doesent even know the lore
YEAH LET'S JUST SAY MAGABIRB IS A GALAXY GODDESS OR SOMETHIng
well, according to the backstory timeline, sancutary and daylight prairie was when society was new. everyone worshipped megabird. but as time went on, the elders got more, and more disconnected from megabird. they stopped going to eden, and became grounded (note the blue, cold almost stone like appearance of elders and etc)
megabird is warm tones, etc, so the elders being dark signify them being grounded.
Also its common of older societies to relate galactic structures with gods and divine beings
Meaning our both theories can be true at the same time
like zeus and stuff, right? you know, gods
MILLIONS of skykids
So it isnt a sentient being pn its own but a bunch of a lot of skykids who became stars
damm that GW door looks AWESOME
note how it starts out with the megabird being very prominent in the first and second gate, but the king being prominent and shifting in valley and golden wasteland
Such as the shift of medieval times with paintings and stories narrating god to the more industralized infrastrucutre
with the findings of dark stones, according to the backstory timeline, society of the elders thought they were better than, quote "this false god" since they could make their own tech
Thats a good theory the change of infrastructure representing the change of ideology of the elders
i mean, it starts off very simple, the world of sky. open fields, primitive homes. but as you get further along, you can observe more and more complex, detailed structures (valley of triumph being the "golden age")
Well back to my original point i believe megabird isnt an alive god neither the creator of everything
But a massive structure of millions of stars aka ascended spirits and skykids
But hey its just a theory
So i may be wrong
a game th e o r y
however, megabird supposedly existed before everything. like the sun. and skids are the "descendants" of elders. like, a subspecies
Y E S
Maybe a big bang but megabirdy?
Everything was once in a single place
Until
Boom universe
yeah! that'd be interesting
Meaning the megabird isnt anymore and its spread in the universe
And what we see are its remains or new shape
Oh i've seen those images
I would differ from the crabs tbg
Since it seems crabs are infected
has anyone figured out how crabs were created?
Considering in sanctuary there are harmless crabs
That do no damage at all
So aside of ligt and dark lifeforms
i remember TGC gave a hint at some point
Pure neutral forms exist
The movement patterns of the crabs represent their origin
I think that was the sentencr
Or lifetime
Tbh
I have no idea
Never thougjt of it
My best aproach is
Crabs are pure neutral lifeforms, neither ligut neither dark
Its confirmed massive light waves can stun them, but not destroy tjem
though, the corrupted crabs drop off dark dust from their body, like krills do
Also they can be infected by darkness
And strike against skykids to purify themselves
And return to a neutral state
Thats what i think
I may be wrong tho
Since i NEVER theorized crabs before
On the topic of the is megabird a god or cluster topic, i'm pretty sure in one beta version of isle a golden bird-like thing flew over the skykid and thats what woke the skykid up. Maybe megabird is light itself? we're children of light, and megabird is all of us, skykids and spirits both. We are light, but ion know abt the spirits.
Well your theories sound awesome but i'll stick with my thought that megabird isnt a god but a supercluster
man comparing that old megabird to this thing hits different-
Old Megabird barely covered a planet and this thing that we think is Megabird is an entire supercluster
True
Well some may think its god
Others its a galactic structure
In the end
Its just a theory
And i LOVE
Hearing theories
So imma keep debating to until we create the ultimate massive super complex theory of sky
I'm just waiting on one of those Iceberg vids
im sure TGC does not know the sky lore and just let us think what's all about
we are doing their job of making lore
Considering they have the next two years planned and Prophecy is a thing I doubt they're going into this blind
maybe they are
Back to Megabird though, I'm not too surprised that their sapience is called into question
The bird might have been a deity in concepts but until it's blatant in the game that giant golden lump in space is going to remain dubiously godly
Indeed
Well im an atheist so i really dont assume a massive shiny thing is god
Also i love astronomy and it really ressembles a galactic supercluster
Also a common mistake of ancient civilizations its to see galactic structures as gods and divine beings
So it can be a god in the eyes of the kingdom
But a galactic supercluster
I mean- I'm an atheist as well but I can't exactly deny the less than scientific happenings of Sky and the possibility of a deity in this universe
They have a magic system in place for god's sake
Ah I love this lore so much this is the first time I have ever looked at it before
Ah- welcome then XD
True lmao
Welcome to lore chat
U cant leave, just lore
Well its just a theory
I think its misconception as it happens on our universe where an ancient civilization thinks a galactic structure its a god
in the end its just a theory
The theory and just thought out process of the game is just beautiful
Exactly
This gamr so precious and fascinating that makes u think
whats the story of this
I love the lore of this game
And i have my own fan theory
Some disagree others agree AND THATS WHY I LOVE LORE
THERE ARE SO MANY THEORIES
I could definitely lose realities to this game, living in it would be amazing
That u never stop being surprised with a new theory
It would be awesome
Is there more regarding places like oob valley?
Mm thank you for all the information!
Np!
OK but we're talking about a game where the stars are sometimes shown to be conscious entities. A star cluster or galaxy would be a super-entity, which is the idea of Megabird.
True
But i dont see it as a god or sentient thing it can be one but i just dont believe it lmao
(Doesent mean i'll refuse to listen other theories tho)
I love hearing theories and discuss lore
What I love about this image is that these made it into the game, but as the entryway for each level's temples rather than the main aesthetic throughout the levels.
The other thing I love about this image is that the "bird of light" morphs into a stick figure and then into the King symbols, suggesting a trend away from unity with the cosmos, toward egotism. The temple doorways still have elements of this here and there in the live game, especially Prairie's and Wasteland's.
It's not an Abrahamic notion of a God but more like a Cosmic Consciousness notion
Interesting view
What is the wasteland and why does it look so gloomy?
i love how you explained that, its amazing.
wasteland is a large battle fortress and potential light power plant.
Then I hit him that it was a power plant
pfft, haha
yeah, i think foremost it was a powerplant (something like nuclear power plants we see irl, due to the amount of waste and pipes leaking toxic sewage its creating)
but it was suggested in backstory timeline it was a fortress the king built in case of another creature attack
I gather that it must have been the most important industrial area in the kingdom
And by some catastrophic failure, it would leave all the waste and stale water throughout the wasteland
another thing that makes me think it was akin to nuclear power plants we see is the amount of waste it is still producing today, even after hundreds of years of the elders being gone, possibly thousands. nuclear energy factories were known for being very high maintenance and continuening to produce waste even years after the factory no longer worked
we also see the same things we saw in forest, except a lot more bigger, and broken.
depicted: how exactly darkstone crystals were made. nasty process that combined the dark stone ore being mined from trees in hidden forest, combined with light from the creatures, to produce darkstone crystals.
there was also a more gruesome depiction of how they trapped the creatures in cages, filling the batteries we see rotating when the doors to forest temple open
and then they'd get the residue towed away to golden wasteland
I can't stop thinking that the krills came out of those wastes
yeah, i love the ideas of krills. there was a few early concepts of whales becoming krills
the light from whales would distort and harden, making the hard spikes you see on krills
what i adore is golden wasteland temple concept art..
so majestic..
I always thought that the wasteland would come out of place in such a beautifully visual game as this, but it adds a touch of seriousness to the story, despite the story being completely silent.
not to mention, have you seen what you were supposed ot go up against in golden wasteland before?
it was a lot darker.
I haven't seen it
eh
here's what you were supposed to go against
sentry towers.
note how the concept art was based off of post nuclear apoc pictures
we used to have giant black void mouths of nothing and you're concerned about sentry towers-
I applaud you-
it looks just terrifying
I'm happy we just have krillsš
the point was that they eat you and I'm just glad that sentry towers don't really do that
Oh yeah- rip for the arachnophobes
I always thought that the only reason krills attack us are because they canāt seem to find a light of hope and they get overly excited to see shiny or light things and go to them to fast killing it and get sad looking for it again
they look like sock puppets
Krilled whales?
I like that idea
just look at those spiders.. shudders
i can appreicate the beauty in truly terrifying things
One thing I think they should add is a way to beat Eden
the concept art of the krills looked scarier
That would be interesting
I'd actually like to see them
Then again clearly we have different definitions of fear so
I think if you tried to burn the crabs a bigger one or a lobster would come and attack you in like in the wastelands
Wouldn't that Defeat the purpose of Eden?
though,, sometimes i think of the old golden wasteland route we were to take.. over the walls, and such.
True but it would be cool, though hard
i think it would be interesting if they added turrets and krills..
Technically if we'd managed to save all the kids that's 'beating' Eden
Destroying the diamond was never our job
imagine, escaping the eye of a krill, but wandering into the eye of a turret...
Maybe a way to befriend krills or how theyād like line if they were light and happy
i have a theory that the diamond is the kings prison.
treat it like the convenience store security camera you'll be fine
The wasteland is like the forbidden zone of the kingdom
I feel like the stars we collect are gifts from the spirits who died and waiting for their souls to be relieved
i feel like finding a way to "beat eden" is not possible. sky is a game of life and death, and coming to terms that death is simply a point of life. that it's scary, yeah, but it's going to happen. there is no way to stop it.
As pessimistic as that sounds, I agree
True
Beating Eden would render the Rebirth cycle useless
death is beautiful, you know?
death happens. just accept it. don't fight it, and try to help everyone that you can before you die
After such a long time you die, knowing all the people you cared for and helped will always remember you and youāll never be forgotten
Because as much as you put it you were so special to some people
man just seeing some of these responses makes me feel thankful some of you have some shred of optimism left in you people-
yeah, that's why i like there's no way to render eden completely useless. to never be able to go there again. i've connected with a lot of friends over the struggle it takes to get past eden.
hold onto that tight and never let go I beg you-
i used to be really depressed and embraced the idea of death, but on learning so much on death it seemed,, softer?
I mean- death's like your inner demons
When you grow older you're not really looking at them the same way as you once did some time ago
I may still be depressed but death is just another step in life, if not the final one.
You realize death is just there- it's patient and it's waiting
You realize that those demons are still just you
And only you
Itās waiting for you time and itās not going away, the things you want to do you have to do them before itās too late, even if you donāt accomplish everything you did so much before that moment where you finally say goodbye and take you last minutes
it's not really the last step. it's just, the thing where you save the game. look back. and then go on, into a new chapter.
YASSSSSSSuh
Like that you can equipe, a small mantray or krill by completing a quest in a season or sum
the day we tame krill is the day i might just believe that the world of Sky is not in some kind of depressing, perpetual stasis
Yāall, Deep story..
I think that the krills are dead journey kids.
Click this reaction if u wanna hear
š½
?
May I uh- interject and say that lore-wise Journey has nothing to do with Sky
Still wanna hear though
I think krills are just look for a friend tbh
Ah- Okie >^< Is #general-sky-discussion would be the correct channel?
yeah
They get too excited and head bumb you killing the light and they get confused doing it again
There's #other-tgc-games as well, that covers Journey
Okie, If you wanna hear you can go there
in the backstory timeline, they are like "hollows", corrupted by the storm
the explosion caused by the destruction of edens castle caused a huge storm, along withcorruption and darkness to sprad through the kingdom
š¤
I have a lot of creature ideas ngl
share?
Like lore ideas too
Like maybe lobsters would be a good add, if the crabs go disturbed too much it would come out of the dark and attack you
I was told this is a good channel for Theories and Story telling?
Sooo...
Okay, Who wants to hear a story?
Way to escape it is flying up and avoiding its tail because one of its attack methods it jumping up and hitting you with its tail
sure
I have a theory, That goes with the story
Click this Reaction If u wanna hear both
š½

Okie!
Theory: Krills are..Dead Journey Kids?
Story: How Did They Become Krills?..
Why does it keep getting deleted
Rip-
I-
Maybe itās too long
Ok @median vortex and @hushed steeple Iāll DM u guys and make a group, for the story
Alright!
Hm how did they become dead krills
I mean skids
Iām supposed to be making a group for that RN..and My brain totally forgot how to do that!
No like-
Yee
My brain totally forgot how to make a group chat
I can make a backstory in 30 seconds
Its prolly darkstone that made them krills
or corrupting darkness
or they existed as that form
and only migrated due to the Fall
Ok lemme just share my theory i just realized the elements does have a use in each realm the blue one makes rain for forest the earth one makes floaty islands at praire and the wind one is making valley windy
But like why rain ?
I have a question:how powerful is megabird?
Is he like the christian god or like Zeus
She's uhh
Birb
Birb birb birb

Megabird doesn't have any apparent influence (and is potentially not even canon depending)
Hey guys, Iāve a question
Who do the bones in Graveyard (GW) belong to? Which creatures died there?
Wurtals
Whurtles yee
Uhh idk but I wanna point out that Hidden Forest's old name was once "Weeping Forest" and tbh it fits more
Oki
I kinda want the octopus to come back
we need more dark creature variety
How about fire? The elder in wasteland seams to put it inside some kind of turret. Could it be the canons up the entrance to vault?
Maybe
Whatās your opinión about that? Could it be a map they used for their boats? The first one is repeated in prairie and valley. The 3rd image looks like Isle constellation. The last one, I have no clue...
The last one is maybe the three big dots are the places to activate the mantas while the two small ones are the twos ways to get here, and the dot in the middle is the island in the middle
That makes sense.
I have a theory that eden king is ||the friends we made along the way||
Where's thatā
O

Why did u bring that cursed thing hereā
That's a relic from early beta those constellations are for different animals
Prairie one with 5 nodes is a turtle
Prairie cave one is an eel
Bird's nest and valley ones is a bird
You used to collect bunch of fragments which gave you patterns on your cape and a candle
It was accidentally activated in beta recently and we got it see how it was but there was no animal sadly
Finally no cursed stickers by floshie

My gosh the amount of detail and thought put into those Light Awaits capes

I mean we didnt want this game to be real phone burner anyway
Okay but JUS THINK ABOUT HOW ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL THOSE CAPES ARE
I'd take a microwave phone any day
If it meant I'll see my liddol skykid flapping round with their pretty cape
Recently??
Does anyone have a screenshot of that in beta..?
Heard about it too.. meditation circles started appearing right?
Ahh lemme see if i have a ss
Rip no ss

Its okay
But i found some pics of when bridge used to work
Ye it was epic
The bridge went down
Then a door slides open as you slide down
Idk why they changed that

Don't copy me

Idk you said the same thing
I said something similar
I said the eden elder is the friends we made along the way
I put together dream cutscene and few non seasonal ancestorās memories and made a video.
Does anyone know about that Island? I'm new here
You didn't saw my reply on #screenshots-and-videos
Where is it
so basically, i once watched this film called minority report, and there were these fortune teller people that basically got mentally and physically fed by this stuff called photon milk. Since photons are basically light, does that mean we also rely on a similar source of energy? like, we don't eat, so we either photosynthesise or we rely on photons
I'm like 80% sure that's the opening cutscene island(s)
i dont think skykids need to consume to survive, we're technically not alive by scientific standards
Yes, they are. A while back it used to be possible to glitch over there, some people did and posted screenshots. While they were on the islands, you could see the murals from the opening cutscene on them
yayyyyyyy weāre dead
why do some spirits have capes but some donāt
itās kinda sus
were only select members of society granted the gift of aviation

I think the ancestors before us didn't use the capes for flying, it was just decorative clothing or for warmth like how people in the real world would wear capes or cloaks
It also seems sort of like a honorary thing or a gift after completing some sort of rite of passage (based on the dream's most reason cut scene)!
Are u thinking that those two islands are valley???
šļø nope
What do we think those islands are?
It was explained up above, they are the islands where the game introduction cutscene takes place, the murals are painted on the walls there
Ohhhh
hey guys, what if the whole game was a dream
WAIT MAYBE THE WHOLE GAME IS UNDERWATER AND THE LAKES AND PONDS AND STUFF ARE REALLY JUST LAKES OF BRING (heavier than water and sink) THAT WOULD EXPLAIN WHY THE MANTAS CAN SWIM IN AIR
Whereād you guys find this concept art?
(Ping me with the link in case Iām not around)
And then why do clouds exist? Why are the candles burning? Why do we fall and not just float in air?
look in the pins of the channel
a lot is here
Those Imgur links arenāt working too well but the other link is great
Thanks!
Man... looking at some of this stuff is really cool
The old story progression and the holy land would be really cool to see return one day
no need to spoiler tag things here
I think you're right. Also since they used boats and ships, maybe they could get around even better than we can.
They also used to fly on these guys I guess
it makes sense they could be on top of mantas, gravity in the sky world seems to be much less powerful than gravity on earth
i mean a child can fly by just flapping its wing multiple times
Would also explain how they flew in the flying race + thereās loads of mantas always there too. It fits.
flying race seems to be very different from what its now
since there are a lto of ruined buildings
so flying race may have looked different in the past
Yeah but I think the premise is still the same, of them using mantas in the race
Do the events of Journey take place before or after the events of Sky? They're WAY too similar (and both made by TGC), so I refuse to believe they take place in different worlds. I'm just unsure of the placement chronologically.
tgc confirmed they're canonically separate, just similar in design philosophy. "sky is journey's spiritual successor"
Cool designs on this wall behind the back wall of wasteland temple
I didn't get adequate images
thats a nice looking door
is gw in a way connected to the king? cause you can see the temple of gw has a lot of his crown thing on the temple. so maybe he stationed there for a war to fight darkness and slowly it toke over him? or maybe after the darkness came and toke over him he stayed there?
Hello all
Hey, what if in sky you can time travel by passing time at the light?
And by accident go to year 14022?
No
Why?
Well, yes
I meant something else but ok
Hi, sorry to interrupt. Could someone help me understand the memory please? Appreciate it š
You can see the star in the front of the kid
Oh and if itās not too much to ask, please tag me! I donāt want to read spoilers š^
That's the one from the village right? Not the colliseum?
Yes!
Because I've seen it be interpreted as the Performer cheering up the girl and doing a little dance for her once in this chat
Ok, I blocked him just for the mean time š someone tell him lol
OH GOD SO THAT WHERE HE GOT THE VASE š š
Dude, it isn't cool to tell someone to just leave outright
Ooo ok, do you know if heās homeless? I noticed that heās in the back of the houses, and I donāt want to stereotype but his long beard makes me thing heās homeless since heās also in like the alleys?
Itās ok, I blocked him as soon he said heāll spoil
But Iāll unblock him once weāre done lol
Good
I don't think he homeless tho
What do you mean by this??
I dunno if he's really that homeless actually- the colliseum cutscene makes me think otherwise
Plus all four of the spirits were referred to as mentors? So they might have more history than they let on
You know in the quest
And resources while I'm at it
Ohh ok yeah I see
Can you pls
Oh yeah lol
Because tes is sbosed to be a lore spiler
Ok, so to summarize, he couldāve just been some random nice guy that saw her fall, and when he saw her in the ice, possibly hurt, he went to do a little performance for her and cheer her up
And teach her a dance move while he was at it!?
I'm don't want to be rude but can you spell correctly?
I think so and Awww that pretty wholesome
Ok am going to say
guys has the dismayed hunter been the only non-elder spirit shown with a weapon
Ok, thank you!! @stark quarry
How about the yeti
He have Axe
Wait two Axe
:0 that's true!
What do you think of my little summary?
There no tree in valley tho
Ah scoop, sorry š¬
Ok, thank you guys!! Thanks for your time and patience

And now, to unblock the guy and leave before any spoilers š
You're welcome lmao- feel free to ask more questions and share more stuff if you ever wanna XD
Yes, thank you
May i go back to my time traveling theory?
Wen you look on the front of the kid you se a tang and thet tang is the star the last meter wen it goes out you lose wl
For Performer - probably a street performer
Feel free dude there's nothing stopping ya
a lot of street performers have a little thing for passerbys to drop money in if they want
Ok
thatās what Iām betting the vase is
Basically how to do it, get to the light and then wait few years
The Lindsey Sterling but pipa pipa performances, and dancing? Definitely something I can imagine as a street performer
so basically ye random nice guy who cheers skater up
And a important note would be that it is unknown what is happening on the earth
TGC x Lindsey Sterling performance when
Yeah
That means skykids may meet woomy and veemo or sonething else
...Splatoon out of nowhere
ye
anyway
Maybe the krill the is sopos to be the peeps on earth just mining stars
Or you know
Like doing stuff
?
it took me a sec to realize you probably meant krill
idk while I view the krill as more methodical than most creatures I'm having trouble picturing them actively seeking out light
Or being sapient enough for... anything
The krill take away all the lights from you
I interpret that as them simply being averse to light- not hunting it down
And take wl
They don't take the WL at all- notice how when after the krill hit you, and the WL scatter
The krill don't go for the WL
Yeah because it in you
They just go on their merry way and ignore the spoils
The krill can take all the light but because its not in you
The wl is in you
But
If you get all the scattered wl you lose 1
No matter what you do
And if a krill hits you in eden the wl well go away nstaly
It only stays a little bit of time
You maybe right in that one
I could probably chalk that up to the environment, actually- the Winged Lights don't really last that long in the murky water, and I can't expect that on their own they'd last long in the darkness incarnate that is Eden
But if the krill sees you again it well atak you
Again
Even you you have no lit
But it mostly wats the lit
I'll concede that it can attack you while unlit because as you've mentioned- you carry a lot of WL around
Trace vestiges of light
The krill has no mrsay
I still see this as a mere aversion to the light instead of an active hunt, however
If it has wat it wants it well not stop
It well cantenu
The krill wats to be no lit
If it takes the light
It well try kill the target
And it can see you wen your rechargeing
In the first time you meet it
OK tats all my thoughts
Bye
Agreed
Krills probably see things differently than us
Maybe they can see like x-rays
Maybe they can see the light internally inside something
I think the krills are just almost soulless creatures that just move around like robots, and that they are uncontrollably attracted to krill sky kids, and maybe they were mantas and became krills, and that they are promised that they can turn back to mantas if they krill enough sky kids
That's actually interesting
thx
Maybe if they consume enough light, they'll become light creatures again
So maybe that's why they attack
maybe they think that, but from what we know it's not true
skeletons? not really. The krills move pretty "softly" and like a piece of cloth. They don't seem like bones. If you look at the elder mantas, they seem much more similar.
that is legitimately the first time I've seen the krill be associated with the word soft-
unironically
I kinda like it-

Yeah I don't agree with the theory
I think krills are their own species
And maybe they weren't always dark
i like to think krills were always dark creatures, after all i dont see why they wouldnt be since theres no light creature similar to them and darkness is a natural part of the world already
ditto to that
there were only a tiny bit of darkness in isle, significantly more started to appear in prairie, and things just got worse afterwards (not including valley because darkness was planning to invade during a war after that that according to my other theory) Doesn't it seem odd that krills only existed starting from wasteland? And no mantas/butterflies during/after wasteland. Sure, there are cosmic mantas in vault which probably survived because of some kind of mutation.
There's darkness in Isle actually
Under the Isle temple, there are a few dark plants
oh yea sorry for forgetting that
they didn't, we see in the prophecy mural they existed before anything major happened
additionally - mind you im a hobbyist - krills seem to be insects or reptiles, why would they live in a cold forest or arid prairie when a warm, moist desert is right there ? if they need moisture, which it seems they do, but also prefer heat, then desert is perfect for them
it just makes sense to me that they'd live there anyways. its the habitat. you wouldnt say its weird that king cobras live predominantly in india, would you ?
Eden krills
Eden doesn't seem like the right habitat for insects(let's be honest, it's not the right habitat for ANY life)
and i believe different realms are different time periods....but your theory makes sense too
eden (from my interpretation) is hot, and it has moist ooze everywhere, it'd be fine for krills in its current state
but this is arguing interpretation of a fictional species at this point
and let's remember that nothing is canon in sky theory (other than things developers bring up)
I know lol I've seen you talk here for quite a lot
or someone with the same name as you i guess
its probably me, ive sent 19 389 messages thus far in this channel alone
but...eden and wasteland....should warm be used to describe a place where you're supposed to die..? and sky kids are made of fire (also look at the wind in those areas)
wind isnt necessarily cold
but a place where fire kids are supposed to die is warm?
and wasteland seems more cool toned if you ask
eden in its current state seems to be indicating warmth. although i suppose warmth is the wrong word
the way i see it, its a blazing hot nuclear reactor, acrid fumes and darkness filling the air and dark clouds creating a greenhouse effect. its not warm, warm is a comfy fire. its BOILING. BLAZING. SEARINGLY H O T
although yes we are "fire kids", we're not...a nuclear-reactor-melt-down kids. depending on how you look at it, its poetic if we live sustained by fire and die in the blazing pits of eden, but hey, thats just me
im not surprised, more dim and cool tones in sky indicate danger and death. doesnt really say anything to me about the temperature
Yeah, plus in all of the murals they're shown in, they look the same as they do now
I think you're right on
Pipe sucks up birbs.
Huh ?
The pipe is sucking up the birds.
Ok ?
Hadnāt noticed it before.
Weird
Oh,, I thought that was just their route..
Btw long time no see spice lmao
Yeah I kinda wonder if it's just their route
Okay here is my interpretation of all the realm temperatures: Prarie is a warm afternoon temperature, pleasant with a cool breeze every now and then. Similar in Sanctuary but with salty air. Forest is cold due to the rain but there are warm spots (like in the caves or by fires.) Sunny forest is lukewarm. And Cavern is cold like forest but its very windy. Valley is very windy and snowy with snow and windchills all the time. Wasteland is just humid and gross, not much wind so the air is thick and choking. Except for Ark, which has a bit less humidity near the boat itself. Vault is cool but in a pleasant way (idk if that makes sense) and Eden is just either really stinking hot or freezing. Let me know what you think.
I like to think it's freezing cold
this reminds me a lot of another convo about the realm temperatures-
There was at least one involving a chart
But I do agree on Eden being either one of two extremes
Heck if we really wanna push it maybe Eden could be alternating between the two extremes? as if it wasn't disastrous enough of an area amirite
It's so hard to think about how Vault would feel temperature wise
But I do think it would be chilly
There doesn't seem to be a heater or anything in such a man made building
And it seems abandoned
So it ought to be kinda cold maybe?
Cold like an elevator in a mall is how I'd probably describe it
Yes
Or cold like in my bedroom without a heater ;-;
I feel like Eden is either very, very cold or very, very hot and there's no in between
better yet it fits both descriptions of hell
Alternating between fire and brimstone hell and Dante's Inferno-style ninth circle of hell
Because in the Inferno there's really only like one circle that's consistently burning
Somewhere around the 5th or smthn I can't remember
I just realized..
These things could probably be docks..
The entrance with the two king statues
Or roadways..
Itās totally possible
Iāve always been curious about the industrial look of GW and Eden
Theyāre the only places that have that trait, and I wonder if in earlier drafts, they were either a guard post or waste dumping site of the Holy Land
A city like that is likely to produce some kind of waste
Also makes me wonder if that much light attracted hordes of dark creatures
maybe it's like a dystopian human world or something
WAIT NO
WHAT IF EVERYTHING WAS JUST TINY
LIKE, THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THE GIANT SCREWS IN EDEN
WHY THE KRILLS WERE SO HUGE
THE HUGE JELLYFISH
the small jellyfish are just baby jellyfish
yeah, maybe we're just really tiny people
children are rather small/tiny by nature
yeah but i meant even smaller
yah, yah, ik
I was wondering about that manta from one krill chamber
I really font like the word chamber
like, we seen mantas, mantas fly freely, anywhere they'd want
why did that one manta didnt escape or tried to escape form the krills gaze
What screws
Please provide photo
What about isle
Technically you're right because we're walking in a post-apocalypse Kingdom with no one in it but arsonist children
and I too am curious about thsoe screws-
I mean this spiral part as "screws"
arsonist lol
It's a sick and weak manta
or a stupid one
I think Krill are corrupted versions of these big bois, because these appear in the Wasteland floor of Vault, but never alive in the other levels. Meanwhile, krill spirits never appear in Vault. The giant spirit mantas and krill spirits are one and the same.
What's this
These
Fish
but what about the clink clink clink?
The what now?
There's a caterpillar that looks like that šļø
oh i thought that skids were hotter nuclear-reactor-melt-down because they are stars
when you go near krills you can hear some sounds which sound almost like metal gears
oh, I see
Yeah, metal gears and horse chariot wheels rolling?
doesnt necessarily mean krills do have metallic parts tho
i am just saying that they don't seem like "soft" creatures
they have hard stone or darkstone jammed in between maybe
Natural armor like a pangolin's perhaps?
Except I cant see if its scale lamellar or brigandine style cuz I cant see a pattern except the outlines with all that black
All Ik is they seem to bite with what looks like spider fangs infront of their alerted eyes
Those are pipes
krill model that dev reika sent ! we can see here they have a soft underbelly and a hard carapace
#general-sky-discussion message
Thats actually cool, didnt know it had a soft underbelly, so it could theoretically be poked there with the massive spears but thats not us Skykids' job lol
Isle will be..
A little cold, but with morning vibes
Hi hi :) If you're curious about krills, i noticed that they are very similar to Journey's Guardians. Using Journey's lore i think we can understand the krills more.
they act the same
In Journey, the guardians are clearly shown be be the corrupted forms of the whale creatures, similar to the mantas.
on the first level you can see the machine you even free them.
At the end of the game the guardians are purified, turning them back into the pure creatures.
As i interpret the story, the rythulians (the players) used the whale creatures selfishly. They turned them into war machines, to kill all living creatures.
Although the guardians are very clearly more mechanical than krills, who appear to be partly shadows, the sounds they make are very very similar if not identical.
did we play the same game ? i played journey like last week and there wasnt any "purified" guardians
Yes:) you may not have noticed it. It's ok, i have played that game a ridiculous amount of times is all.
At the end, in paradise, you are accompanied by 2 whales.
They are the 2 guardians that you saw underground and in the snow.
As you are resurrected and fly to paradise, you see the guardians around you.
When you reach above the clouds, beside you are 2 whales. The same creatures.
hm im gonna have to press x to doubt that, chief
we see in the murals that the guardians are technological inventions, they're the equivalent of like. drones. "purified guardians" is like "purified airplanes". they're robots, not living things
Of course, this is my interpretation as i see it :) I just wanted to share it.
I believe you are mostly right. To change the whale creatures, they must have been given some kind of mechanical enhancement.
They are used as, and act, like robots. But they are living creatures inside.
Kind of like if you took a human, mind controlled them, and gave them a robotic shell.
i see..
i still disagree with you but i have school so i dont have time to debate this
Ok :) it was interesting to hear your interpretation :)
I think the krills are also guards, like the guardians. They are programmed to / commanded to / instinctively attack and destroy anything alive - which means any creature of light.
Oh u right, I agree
Topic:
What's with those chains of shiny bois in Orbit? Why do they have your friend's nicknames attached to them?
yes i think we see the mechanical shells come off the guardians and become whales
Well, they are children of light. They are your friends. And everyone fly to meet their end. « With the stars united, our light was infinite. »
Can anyone guide me to theories that say the krills existed at ancestors time and were a part of their ecosystem. Or tell me some
#general-sky-discussion message the real krill model
Well there's that mural on the Forgotten ark!
And the one in the cave of prophecy
Ignore the second image
Prophecy predicted everything
And enchantment is post destruction :pPopcorn:
I imagine Ark is from after the storm existed while ^^^ yes

The cave could be evidence that krill existed long ago, but maybe it was just a really really accurate vision of the future
A Prophecy predicts everything so-
I bet chonk boi must've predicted them
As he made
too
ok i need to start playing with the sound on i have never played with the sound on before
what why would you not play with sound
and there are creaky floorboards nad the headphones are downstairs
you never play at awake time?
i do, but rooms are merged and i'm not alllowed to
and also sometimes i just forget to turn the sound on
that's how accustomed i am to silence
wait you know all the skeletons in gw? are they whale skeletons? what if the whales were killed by dark forces and the krills are the corrupted spirts of them that roam the graveyard seeking vengeance?
the vault of knowledge must contain something explaining the history of what happe ed previously in gw?
but then why would the krills suddenly all fly towards the entrance when the blue crystal thing is lit....
what caused the bones in graveyard?
because there are so many spears and the remains of battles and stuff
i think in the battle quite a lot of whales were killed
and as there are several krills
i'm guessing that the gw was already corrupted to begin with, however after the whales were killed, their spirits were corrupted by the corruption of the golden wasteland, and then they took the form of krills
and i'm guessing....
that they were maybe used as some sort of bait
because that would explain why all the whale skeletons are located and bunched in one area mostly
and then the whales felt betrayed or something
so they search forcreatures of light
and attack them
as vengeance
idk why they would be bait
let me think
They're actually whurtle skeletons!
Or at least some of them are
I believe that they were used to fight against the krill during their incursion into the GW around the time of of the fall! The reason why we see their skeletons specifically in the graveyard and no where else might be because graveyard is a rather enclosed area while the others aren't, meaning that any skeletons that were present outside of graveyard got buried in the shifting sands overtime or aren't accessible in-game as the actual size of the GW lore-wise is massive
then we get blocked off by the wind walls
i know now
whale-turtles?
well then why would the krills be patrolling the graveyard? it's not like they were expecting the children of light
and even if they were
why wouuldn't they patrol a nicer place?
wait never mind
thats a dumb question
i think the light in other places would killt hem
it makes more sense if you look at different realms as different time periods
imagine if a krill just went through a hole in the clouds of the sanctuary islands like
actually yeah, maybe that's the reason whty krills aren't in those lands. because there's too much light the light would kill them (in ||eden|| when we stand near light sources the dark dust on our bodies falls off)
and also.....
scrolling earlier in the chat
maybe that manta was just a super young manta
that didn't uunderstand the threat of krills
and instead
or they just didn't exist until the time period
knew that light wouuld probably harm the krill
but i'm confused, how are we then able to see the storm of ||eden|| all the way in the isle of dawn?
i don't see how we could possibly look into different periods of time just like that
and instead, was trying to harm the krills
and then krills they attack kids of light because we're a potential threat
but hold on that makes no sense
why wouldn't they target the candles
oh wait
never mind
we need to be there in the first place for the candles to be of any use
but have you wondered why eden always seem the same distance away? it's just a mountain that was always there, but it hasn't been used as eden until after vault
They patrol the region mainly because it's the migration path of the light creatures! (which is their main source of food
)
which according to another theory is because they're trying to keep megabird alive
no i swear it looks closer from triumph
maybe the vault of knowledge is a wormhole
that takes us closer to eden
They're extinct in-game
i feel like because home seems so different from other places, and that it has all portals, that it's in a separate universe that they created in vault/eden time period
They aren't different time periods, the game makes a clear linear path that wouldn't make sense if you where just traveling through the same location at different times
yes, buut what about the islands in the distance
wait which islands?
if you look into the distance of home
It's actually the storm you're viewing, not the mountain! Also in areas like the Valley of Triumph or GW the storm changes it's location in your POV or becomes non-visable
what if it was juust a cirtual simulation
at this rate
i'm gonna need a big blank wall to write down all these ideas
I feel like whurtle is a joke. I can't find any pic or google result.
Is it a joke like pink elephant?
hey have you guys ever heard of game theory?
this sounds like a job for game theory
Good idea, GoldenYeto220!
it is extinct
also no need to spoiler
Yeah... but do we know what it looked like or is it just our name for that animal?
@tough marten ALSO THIS
I think it's just the name we give it but I'm not entirely sure
we can only guess
thats what we call it
i think they are the same as whales though
maybe they were older and bigger
Does it imply that they emerged from their deep homes and attacked?
i made a jamboard for all the stuff
like this
That's the whale that lives in the game
hey guys sorry to interrupt but iām very new to the lore and iām wondering if thereās like a general timeline somewhere?
They have turtle skulls actually! as a I learned the very very hard way
maybe the darkness has eroded their horns away
???
what do you mean?
I took pictures of their skulls from graveyard
The eye sockets for the WL skulls are large but then again I have no idea what the whale's eyes in the game are like
the skulls in the game suggest 2 eyes unlike the concepts
i think they looked exactly like this, just with 2 eyes
waddap
Sure! Most of the timeline we have assembled for sky is based off of this concept art (with some alternations)
Can't it be found on the lore doc?
Tom's site is there at least
@lilac oak there's also the lore doc and Tom Zhao's website (as Paul Sky and AGIN just pointed out) which can be found here!
https://docs.google.com/document/d/18B1-SKG3toG0oH0VhOWC5o-cG9u0STAN92QvmbhTDto/edit?usp=drivesdk
What's this symbol?
@slate saffron thanks so much!
we donāt know for sure but iāve seen it referred to as a symbol referring to Megabird
I keep seeing a moose but that makes more sense lol
I wonder why a symbol of megabird would be above the exit from prairie
There's also this below it. It doesn't really look like a symbol but it also does at the same time. It looks birdlike too.
It's from older elder designs. Forest Temple also has an older design in front
Interesting
I agree, that it is a bird.
:0
Maybe that's megaborb
It looks like the symbol evolves in that concept art
Dawn especially looks like megabird
But then it looks like it evolves to the symbol that represents the king's helmet which is a little creepy
In my opinion the symbol evolves into the Prince in the central door and then to the King. It makes me suspect that Tom Zhao had in mind some lore about a shift in worship from Megabird to the King as time went on
Exactly! I think the King became an egomaniac and declared himself a deity kind of like Infinity Blade where you have an evil ruler who calls himself a God-King even though he wasn't one.
Yeah
Or like in 300
I've been close to the eden whale the eye is tiny
hold on so far in the season they've been based around asian themes
maybe
there's something we can find in lore from asia (any counutry) that bears resemblanceto the stuff in sky
Either a teacher, tutor or a mother
Hi there
Is it mainly from the concept art? Or is this the timeline of the actual game (supposedly)?
the skulls in GW arent whale skulls - they're turtle skulls, thats why they look different
thats concept art, and is no longer canon
Ok, thank you.
I donāt go often to Eden. So today, I went to search for clues and photographed all that could be interesting (somehow, maybe, I hope).
Hmm, there is something strange. At the end, before the ascension to the Disneyās castle, we cross the altar from the vault. I really wonder why. Unless the bottom of the palace had its own. Or maybe this is the top of the Vault?
And also that place. Thatās really a long time since I went there. And now there is this shield and two swords (we are at the beginning of Eden).
This ended the faction war theory in my mind... Unless it was an outpost? But then why hanging swords and shield like that. It looks like a decoration. Not really war like.
This is just an eye candy. I hadnāt noticed those statues were repeated and in good condition when ascending in direction to orbit.
Or maybe this is an update I just missed because of never going there.
That statue might be vault elder
My idea is that it's the King's personal library or something like a shortcut to Vault.
Yeah it's the top of vault
I remember having a conversation before on this and I remember very vaguely people wondering if sky kids don't go to vault in person, but rather go there in a dream
There are a lot of these. Or maybe important figures in Eden.
Yeah they might all just be vault elder
Or other important figures in vault
Or maybe just the ones shown in the beginning of orbit is vault elder
When we are in vault, there isnāt really any exit... And everything is like a star soup.
But when we look at the exit before opening the door to Eden, we exit a tower like building.
Yeah that might be one reason why vault is a dream to sky kids, is because there's no exit. You just port to the Eden enter area after watching vault elders' cut scene.
And when you're on vault, everything seems.... Dreamy
Everything floats
Everything looks like it's in space
I doubt it's canon because it's messy, but you can fall under this building on the left side and there's nothing under it. I wonder if this is not the top of a tower but just a little temple the Vault Elder teleports you to!
But there are crabs in the archive... Dreams of š¦
And so we are not really at the top of the vault in fact (when we go to Eden).
Does anyone know what is meant in the canon lore doc about the crabs' walking cycle being a clue?
We still don't know yet
Maybe, but maybe it's just semi-out of bounds. It's all really ugly cliffs under the building like you're not supposed to be able to go there

Donāt know. Sounds interesting.
Ooh the eden shrine
Thatās why we are theorising haha
I think vault is designed to look like eden's tallest spire and the eden diamond is supposed to sit at the top of it like how it is in the vault elevator lmao
There aren't that many entity types to pick from to guess at the origin of crabs if there is such a thing.
I agree it kinda looks like the Isle icon of Vault at the top. Well, I don't agree about it looking like the Eden castle.
Like that? The second image is vault from below.
Yes
And so, the vault elder would instead teleport us on the outskirts of Eden. To a tiny tower at the entrance, that looks a lot like an archive.
I guess that if there are crabs in vault, it canāt be a dream. They are kind of upset, like always.
You look like a Sky historian!!
Quite a lot. The vault shrine is really high compared to where the red crystal is. If we think the red crystal and the crystal depicted on the fresco is the same.
Hahaha, I dressed to be protected from dust and flying rocks šŖØ
Well, good night guys. Another mystery solved for me.
I will assume that we donāt teleport to the top of the vault at the end of the elderās cutscene.
thats the adoptive mom ||i think the sk8ter is a prototype of a skid||
Where?
In Eden
And when we dir
*die
When we ascend
We ascend first via the same laser that comes out of that big red crystal
Do you think
That the reason why we canāt get that close to the red crystal
Is because itās actually really huge
And when we die
Our spirits go towards that crystal simar to how when spirit memories are revived they go towards the temple
And then the dark room is in the crystal (idk but when I was in the dark room for some reason I could see the outlines of the outside Eden)
And the crystal is our ultimate goal?
I mean
When we are returning the light to the kids
At the end
The position of the Eye of Eden crystal in relation to the ending flight cutscene is a little unclear
Theyāre all pointing to the crystal
Iām gonna sick to my theory for now and perhaps build on it
I agree that the dark place could possibly be inside there but I haven't seen what you're saying myself. Just some cloud edges in there
It could also be located nowhere
What do you think isnin here?
Yeah it could just be a dream
Like
Iāve seen videos where when you lose all your light you also go to the dark room
Hey, it could be the birthplace of us skykids
So the island far away is where the intro is?
Also the darkness blinds so I cast them away was just a placeholder text well ever since I played sky since gratitude I already made a theory on it
Imma try and go there with the new glitch
the isle of dawm
Its to small to isle of dawn
How about the island in wasteland the shipwreck
I see like a glowing thing there
Like a wl
Yeha me to
Hhhmmm
Strange
I should prolly do the new glitch again
Hey guys ,so I just remind that the questgiver and the spirit from Season of Belonging is different people ,I thought they are some people lol
éęę±
lol
Yeah some spirits from other seasons are there too
Nope.. they just share the same hair, and they have the rhythm ultimate mask too.
True ,They are all from valley spirit
I thought they are twin
Has it been answered why āeye of Edenā is called that ?
I think that has several explanations including religious ones mostly biblical.
What i believe is that the diamond is eden king's eye which was attached to his mask
Or
Storm/cyclone has an eye in the center and eden is where the storm is so eye may refer to the center
Most people believe it was called eden in days of ancestors
Thanks š
Ohh
That explains the look of the certain cosmetic
Hereās hopping we get to meet him one of these seasonās
I'm one of those people who believes Eden was called Eden back in the days of the ancestors. Because Eden means "paradise" or "bliss", stuff like that, so I don't think it would be called Eden now in its current state. I think Eden probably once was a beautiful and nice place.
I agree with you but I would argue that Eden still applies to it's current state, somewhat
Applying the forbidden fruit imagery and all at least
My garden of Eden theory intensifies
can anybody give a TL;DR of what the war was about back when the spirits were still alive
Can you do it?
Pls
i have zero knowledge of what the war was about. im interested so if anybody knew anything they could give a quick summary cuz i dont think i can to scroll up this chat to look for the bits
thats fine
I can't give exact details, but I could give you a run-down of the interpretations we have of what it could have been about so far
There's very little that's concrete about the subject XD
yes pls tysm
any info is good
When it comes to the war, one theory comes to mind and that's the Two Shields Theory and it's many variations
Over the months there's been adjustments but generally in this theory it's considered to have been a civil war of some kind
The premise was that there are two types of shields that are found scattered around Battlefield- ones with sun designs and ones with diamond designs
It's noteworthy that the Wasteland Elder uses both shields
Where the variations differ from each other are the motivations, the conclusion, and the factions involved in the war
If it's a civil war, the motivations for it could be due to social unrest amongst the Ancestors, an environmental uprising in defense of the light creatures, or conflict surrounding the Eden diamond
If it isn't a civil war, then the war is believed to have been fought against the dark creatures and/or a neighboring Kingdom
And that's all I can pull from previous convos I've seen from this chat without getting too subjective XD
thats very coool
tysm for summarizing it for me
You're welcome- but there's always more room for interpretation! I'm pretty sure I've missed a couple
Stuff like both shields being used by the military and not necessarily from opposing factions
and then there's the whole schtick concerning the Wasteland Elder's loyalties :'''DDDD
i see i see~ these are very interesting interpretations. i love it!
Lmao- hope I helped somewhat XD
Is it possible that Wasteland Elder's initial alliegance was with the diamond shields, but switched sides prior to their death?
Yep- and it's unlikely, but the reverse could have also happened
Depends on who exactly was on which side I think
What info do we have on this
(Itās in sanctuary, it was a glitch that i saw in a cave)
It looks like something from prophecy
It's a bug
I know itās a bug.
Where do those symbols appear? Do they even appear in game?
Well it seems to be in Prophecy murals' style. Esp the prince drawing which is still seen in the big Prophecy mural.. Probably an older version of it or some asset..
Prophecy is the one in a cave in isle of dawn right?
Yep
hmmm
Either way, we won't rlly get anything out of that thing
it's not, it's a mural describing a history
Yeah but itās not supposed to be floating in the air in that cave
so a glitch
#report-a-live-bug if you think is a bug. But for me it's a description of some tales.
All the murals that help us to find the bells in sanctuary are floating, in fact.
I thing it has been put here just to link that place to the main story. Sanctuary is a touristic island, with a vacation-esque background. Probably that golden character came here. And he was struck by a crab. Or engaged a play fight with wasteland elder and lost. Or they are student and teacher.
Sanctuary is a parenthesis. I guess elders had to take vacations too
It's a bug that has persisted for quite a few patches. Probably a low-priority one, it doesn't have anything to do with lore whatsoever, probably some random asset that found its way there. We've always told this time and again in the lore chat
It takes a village to reach a dream but dreaming too much comes with the consequence of deviating from the rhythm of light.
The citadelās vacant halls are gilded it in gold, accented in baby blue and crimson red. The eerie stillness is torn open by the distant sound of strides. An urgent message has been delivered to an esteemed Noble. I am that individual. The dusk bells chorus and chant as I open the parchment before me. I gasp as I see the golden seal which could seal our fate. my name is Raye. My specific duties are to ensure that the āvillage of dreamsā remains loyal to the lore of our land. The note before me is engraved in ominous runes warning of a lone corrupt dream with too much ambition, threatening to destroy the harmony and equilibrium of light. Let me explain - everyoneās dreams as a written by our elders' many resets ago fall into two sacred categories. As a race, our societyās balance depends on dreams not straying from these two ancient classifications. If a dream develops a mind of its own from being fed with dangerous aspirations our society could fall. It has happened before. Dreaming defines our citizens but if dreams donāt reflect the dreamerās ultimate purpose our world of light could collapse. It is my solemn oath to protect this lore, our survival as beings of light, of pure energy, depend on it. I begin to plan my journey as I seek the potential destructive dreamer. I look to the valley of Triumph.
My name is Wysh, my duty is the upholding the ancient lore of my snow-covered Valley. My home is known as - Triumph. Itās a place of exceptional beauty and visionary thoughts. It is bathed in a wispy blue haze, punctuated by blades of light. In the evenings you can smell the fragrant herbs and remedies from the late-night bathhouse where I labour. At the end of an arduous shift cleaning and attending to clients I begin to dream of a cool escape. I imagine freely gliding upon the surface of a secret frozen lake away from work pressure, social norms, duty and obligation. Isolation to me is as sweet as a night of peaceful sleep. I have a reoccurring dream that feeds me and I feed it. At night as I lay down to rest, the process begins. An extraordinary dream skates its way into my mind and pulls at my heart. I delight in its freedom as it dances with me as a partner, lifting me before an applauding audience. Then thereās a shift like a whoosh of blades, cutting through ice. In my dream, I am dressed in an avian costume. I am a masked phoenix with black wings of gold fire red as skate up before a crowd in an arena colossal in size. I am performing for kings and queens. I am adored and revered but am I reaching too high?
āThe problem with wishful thinking and overreaching,ā I sternly lectured the three loyal subjects that accompanied me to seek the rogue dreamer...ā is that corrupt dream language disrupts the cycle of light. Rogue dreamers dream for their gratification not for the common good. Ambitious dreams weaken our light. My three companions solemnly nodded. They were well-versed in our ancient language, spells, potions and most of all - connecting stray light beings back to the sacred cycle. I needed their expertise to subdue the destructive dreamer. Of all these disciplines, the spoken spell read from the ancient scrolls were the most important. These sacred words have lived on in our memories and oral history for light-years guiding us through mistakes and victories, light and dark, dreams and reality. It measured us as a society and kept us in balance like Libraās scale. But we were far from prepared for the sight that bore into our eyes as we approached our destination. The dreamerās dream had taken flight. Scores of villagers had each given into their obsession following The dreamerās example. Itās as if they were infected with their ambitions. Then I spied her, high above the town square. At the time I didnāt know her name was Wysh. I remember her smile both sweet yet conceited. The duality she emanated was formidable. I commanded my fellow lights spell singers to begin chanting. It wasnāt enough the dreamer had the aid of a group of light defectors. The conflict was at a stalemate. My fellow lights and I swiftly retreated.
