I’m telling you the sizes are off. Look at how the sword is supposed to look next to a soldier and look how the 3D render looks compared to the 3D render of the wasteland elder. It’s not consistent
I overestimated the Elder's hands but that sword is massive oh my
The soldier is supposed to be able to carry it with 2 hands, what
So one developer joking about “giant spirits” isn’t really an answer. They’d have to be bigger than Tsadi/wasteland elder with the same or bigger hands. The spears are manageable but there is no good answer for the swords 🗡
well what do you think used them then?
I cant tell if the handle of the sword is too fat or not for that soldier
Ackshually, doesnt it look manageable for the soldier when it comes to the ingame sword or..
It’s manageable for the soldier but he’s also like 5 times the size of what the elder is to the actual sword
This concept art gives some reference, at least.
people of sky
labor ... intellectual ... warrior ... civilian male ... civilian female ... child of light ... dawn ancestor ... day ancestor ... rain ancestor ... sunset ancestor ... dusk ancestor ... night ancestor
I don’t think they weren’t used. I think regular ancestors used them I just think that the game design is off. Like a flawed game mechanic ie; ending up cape-less or warping to Eden without the storm brewing or more closely related .... Reika herself said some things are just not lore like the texture of gold I found on the stone wall. She said it was just a texture error. So maybe the size of the weapons is just exaggerated or the spirits memories are smaller versions of what they actually were while living beings
The warrior spirit is smaller than the captain spirit so I imagine they have different sizes but to account for the vaaaaaast difference in those weapons/swords and the spirits’ hand sizes required to carry them effectively... we’re talking about spirits with pop-eye hands 🙌 who are the same size as the wasteland elder or larger ancestors that tower over even the wasteland elder
Only now I just noticed the captain was taller than the warrior
Perhaps they all had growth spells or wore rock golem exoskeletons
laser towers
i dont think that image is to scale
lol
the king turrets are meant to be a lot taller
Perhaps all the soldiers could become towering figures twice their natural height. The King here resembles those cave painting soldier figures, as well as the statues in game.
maybe the other "giants" were depicted as small and normal because they werent as important as the elder/commander
The mural. Represents the 8 weapons/turrets not the actual king though. Unless there were multiple kings
can children of light become elders?
But they would still be depicted as bigger than normal non giant ancestors
You see laser towers, I see a row of armored magitech soldiers
why would wasteland need fire for fighting?
do they shoot fire?
cause thats not gonna do any harm
unless if they were fighting against those made of darkness
Maybe for healing and burning dark plants?
maybe they also powered the turrets
I don’t know if that generation would heal by fire though like kids can
well it seems that they need some flame anyways
Why do you mention fire? I only assume that fire was a big part because nothing has any paint left on it
Fire harms most things here in Earth but its Sky so most objects dont burn unless they're dark plants or candles Ig
I wasnt paying attention to prophecy murals oops
Oh, the elemental power of fire! usually in Fantasy, that can take all sorts of forms
if darkplants absorb and feed on fire/light, why do they burn from it as well? Is it too much to keep it balanced?
imagine destroying something by overloading with nutrients
Basically any sort of magical weaponry can be explained as flowing from the elemental power of fire somehow
They probably absorb light but how'd it absorb fire if it dies from it
isnt most light also described as flame?
Oh yeah
/well- manta doesnt really have a flame?
oh no not the cursed vault elder
Isle elder seems like he would steal my candles

dont all light creatures do?
/they have light, but no fire
i think in sky light is the same as fire/flame
/*sorry but why is your name full of squares- old phone probs-
its actually covered in eyes and emojis
They’re emojis and special characters
It's all eyes
theres a setting i think which you can turn on to enable emojis or something on your system settings
/why is that that some flame gives you a currency and some light is just- energy?
i forgot what it was, because most modern phones enable them by default
that light is wax probably
When you wanna get into the lore but don’t know where to start:
maybe they release the light that they once had absorbed
Hello new Lore Moff!

Aaa tysm
/woah hi bricky
greetings
i see i missed some king discussion, what a shame 😔
The King is such a mystery even in concept art
indeed, but i like it that way
leaves plenty of room for fun headcanons
I still have no conclusive opinion on the King
/yupp- i have head canon that he is santa clause who rides krills
I like the notion from concept art that the Prince was the same size as the players, as if he was the original child of light.
maybe he is
/he probably is
/Paul friend what do you think about the white kid in the dark room during eden?
ey maybe people who goes through the ascension before the diamon explosion might seen something better than the ruins of the palace/vault
It's definitely derived from the older story of you entering the King's body and finding the Prince inside and escaping together
/what do you think has change to fit the new story tho?
like idk, maybe they seen the enormous, beautifully made palace filled with people who bid them farewell and good luck in their next live
thats sounds so pretty
Actually I wont even form one, Ill just admire everyone else's headcanons
There's no longer any explicit King we confront, and no specific location of the dark area with the lonely light child
Same
and before they reach the sky they seen the biggest diamond they ever seen, surrounded by the statues of the elders and shooting golden light that will guide them to The Light
WHOOOO OKAY this sounds better when i write it

im glad
i just woke up so i didnt know how to write in english haha
/imagine you taking frens like:mom im going to ascend tomorrow with Emily?
-That's sweet dear tell the big fish i said hi
awwwwww
oh maybe... what if the ascension was being lead by the prince? insteda for the ancestors to enter ascension by themselves, the prince lead them just like how current skykid lead the ascension
OH NO WAIT i got a different idea. lemme get the video example first
what if the ascension was planned to be like this specific scene from a movie titled 'Big Fish and Begonia'?
so people who already on their end of their life (its either like that or the spirits of the dead who already leave their physical body) will gather on a specific time. the prince/king will open the gate to ascension, which is the beam of light we always seen whenever we want to proceed to the orbit
what if the other reason for the creation of the diamond is not only as the biggest power source, but also so the prince/king can manipulate the gate of ascension?
Cool
Anyone knows why valley elders Yeet the light?
Just curious :pEyes:
It seems like the light is all heading up the mountain and they add your light to the rest
Oooh :0
maybe eden is the king's body, and we fly out of him when he is not corrupted as well
I don't know. Everything goes up the mountain in this game! 😅
wait who has that image
The one where it mentions flying out of the King's body with the Prince into Orbit? I tried to find it but can't.
no not that, but someone drew an outline around the prophecy mural depicting the prince being crowned king in eden
well yes if you link that image with what i said just now
Yeah I remember the outline
Anyone reckon why the lighting changes in and out of the Pointing Candlemaker’s cave?
I see what you mean now. The statues especially on top of the fortress roof are unequivocally turrets. They have barrels visibly jutting out.
Tall Vault elder mask :0c
That colossal wall behind the fortress is perhaps the most ominous aspect of all. It was a 'when you see it' moment for me.
or was it a cannon, perhaps?
maybe thats the big wall of vault?
vault elder looks like they wear a very tall crown
Is this the central statue on the fortress viewed from the side? Could you see the wall where you were there, to your right?
yes
According to the concept art for Sky, there used to be turrets in Wasteland so it’s most likely a turret I think, but then again different interpretations of lore is always accepted-
I subscribe to the idea that there is an actual huge mountain under the storm, and that Vault is a tower hollowed out of the core of the mountain.
We never get close to the base of the mountain, but I very much hope it will come in an upcoming season!
Really scary. That wall does look Vault-blue, doesn't it?
Perhaps it's like this: Wasteland fortress in green, Vault entrance wall built into side of mountain in blue.
ohhh
wait i just realized the whole mountain is painted with Life Cycle mural
and they all going upward
goddang
Omg same
I hope it's eventually included in the game. I wrote my idea for a downhill experience on the mountainside and included this image and sent it to the feedback channel. I want to learn more about the ancients journeys and lives on the mountain!
It could have terrible visibility like wasteland to allow it to run on phones

They've proven they can make great mountainside environments with Season of Dreams. I hope they will tackle the big momma mountain some day.
oop
eden mountain goes brrr
Has anyone wonder why the diamond tech here is yellow?
Flopps
The power diamonds usually turn orange or yellow when activated by a light source
So that might be why
Ah ok
Special Dev diamonds
oh maybe ita diamonds that not corrupted by darkness?
or maybe its like how that valley boats turns yellow when we light it
imo its debatable if we can take the diamonds in the dragon into account for lore bc its a meta aspect of the game - its not necessarily part of the game world, its a reference to our irl world
^ yeah
Imagine downhilling through the channels of that mural!
I jus remembered the sleepy traveller's boat is here again and I wonder if the spirits are finding good 3.3 deals via the meditation net
You can see the same elder things you see at the top of vault at the top of the Eden castle
Imagine we would get a season in eden
And learn more about the people that lived there
That’s exactly what I was thinking
I think boon said that in the early beta when the sky used to darken wherever someone used or forged a white candle you could see that mural in wasteland
I only doubt this has much credibility because it has a lack of evidence for it at the creation/launch. Which means the growth spells would have to be a retconn created to fix the disparity or that if they were naturally that tall we would see other evidence in the form of other giant items.
So far we have a statue next to the catapult that seems life sized (or smaller if they were giants) and the larger than normal swords even Tsadi/wasteland elder can barely handle.
All murals and relive-able spirits (including ones who were warriors) are smaller or fit the catapult statue size.
That’s why I believe it’s just a rendering Error or an aesthetic choice to make the world feel larger to a small child. I don’t know honestly
I’m looking to create a piece of lore on that battle but I can’t even answer why those weapons are ridiculously large even for an Elder
We have proof that there is a normal sized warrior but only one weapon in all of wasteland that he’d even remotely be able to wield
i think i just realized why the prophecy looks like the prophecy icon
if this is the kings icon right

and the season logo looks like that
and the season tells the story of how the king and/or prince became king
then maybe the icon is a display of the king?
Yes you are right we had a lot of discussion on that
i wasnt here for that smh
You can search prophecy in lore channel you can read the recent ones
i should do that
psdjdhssdhd the way they discussed it
its always a fun time with Sup in lore chat
but yeah im so late to that realization i apologize

what makes dark creatures "dark"
like
i know it means that they hurt you
but i want to know why they are like that

Nobody rlly knows
We kinda just make a bunch of theories ocassionally about that
And...
I forgot all of them
hmm
Could prob just look up "dark creatures" in this channel and read up. The searching system is so, so helpful and good to use for this channel.
The only simple theory I can remember is dark creatures being polluted because wasteland and Eden seem to be polluted
So they were light, but ended up polluted
Or corrupted
Or they just.... Always were like that
Lightness can't only exist and darkness can't only exist. There must be a balance of the two.
the dragon is alive perhaps. and i don't think it uses darkstone for some reason
Or maybe ||megabird exploded and that created the darkness, or maybe darkness was always there, and when there was war between the valley twins and darkness took advantage and controlled the some of the living creatures that were really weak, or maybe darkness promised the mantas/butterflies protection if they become krills/crabs||(yep these are my theories)
Why the valley twins?
From what image did you crop this?
It's just amazing to see which parts of these concept art pieces are 100% in the game and which parts are like 1%
Tall King may even be a removed character for all we know
I suspect he's more like an obliterated character and that if Eden were still intact we would see tons of evidence of the King
Do you suppose Eden and the red rocks are radioactive?
May I ask where that mountain is located?
Eden?
in the concepts, that mountain is meant to be eden. however we don’t see it in-game
Dang. That'd be cool to see in-game
Idk if it's just me, but this game reminds me of another game by that game company. "Journey". ||You can watch gameplay on Youtube if you want||
yes, sky is the spiritual successor to journey
I mean it has the same game play down to the ||Krills||! Like it was some type of beta for Sky (||probably wasn't tho. it was on the ps3 ps4 & mobile so what was the point of spreading it if it was a beta?||)
As you see, they are really competitive, a bit too much to be friendly, and that valley being right before wasteland shouldn't be a coincidence.
no need to spoiler tag things here, bro
I actually think that Valley and Wasteland were connected and the Valley Elders used to live with Wasteland Elder (as I think the Valley temple isn’t really a place to live in?) but they had to move because Golden Wasteland got polluted
Also the Elder temples are at the end of each realm and well Valley are just... Valley Elders
I went OOBing in Underground Cave in Forest and decide to look at the gate impossible to enter, near the Winged Light
What do you think are made of those crystals?
heeeey can anyone send me the link of the lore and theory file? i lost it askjdaksjdsa
In Hidden Forrest there's a small bunch of candles next to a stone slab with a perfect circle on it. What is/was that for?
Continuing into this: Since valley elders seem to be really young, what if wasteland elder took care of them when they were kids?
I actually headcanon that!
(Also I think they died quite young btw)
O
Wdym???
Do you have a screenshot of this
I also headcanon that they tried to climb into Wasteland’s bed and he always put them down in fear he’d squish them xD
Oh that
I don't remember seeing another one anywhere
it's not candles near it, it's a patch of darkness, my bad
I can't remember what it is, but I think I recall someone explaining what it was and it wasn't anything that lore worthy if I recall correctly
boo
Yeah I know
It sucks when something that looks really important ends up not really being that cool
I'm always torn between games adding mysteries that never get solved vs mysteries that get solved disappointingly
Lmao
I think that different realms are different time periods, and that
is
Oh interesting :3
But I think that all realms exist in the same time and the Elders are people different from each other
Children that are meant to safe the world but actually just do chaotic stuff
Stone dolls with light sources as their internal organs probably idk
Wdym???
But what type of children, aliens?
Idk
That's definitely a possibility
we’re children of light
Spirits of Stone dolls
Just like we are our consciousness inside of a fleshy shell, sky kids are probably all 100% light but their shell is their stone bodies
I dont think that sky kids has stone bodies
When we start to play every day we come from the sky
Their flesh basically is stone-like is what I mean
i hc that skykids are made of clay, mostly inspired by golems from jewish folklore since we’re also protectors of communities
Yeah
Or could be that our stone body is like the body of Vision xd
Clay hardened seems stoney
And we can change the composition of our bodies
I just wonder how skids operate, run, think, and etc if they're simply made of light and hard flesh.
Silicon brains
magic, that’s how
we’re statues given consciousness by light
occam’s razor, my friend
I hope they leave us with more questions each time they offer new lore, like with Cave of Prophecy
I heard that it's a clock for a rainbow to appear but I don't know
yep
I agree, except that I would estimate that Valley used to extend all the way at least to the end of the boneyard, with the battlefield being Wasteland Elder's original domain: to defend Vault and the mountain.
Sounds good
oh, thats cool actually.
I agree :3
There's also that part of Valley that still exists that we can see but can't reach, except by rocketing up. The very beginning of wasteland? Maybe there was more cloud city like that extending all the way throughout GW, once upon a time.
One thing I noticed is that I think the building you have to fly through in the air race might be the same model used for the broken temple, where you meditate in GW?
Nevermind it's far smaller
Wait wait what
Broken temple is the GW first area + first krill area, the only place you meditate on is GW's elder temple (other than ark boat)
So uhhh,, which one—
Iirc broken temple's area is a similar building to Forest elder temple. The room past it to the entrance of Graveyard was a relic of the old beta, a cosmetic closet was supposed to be there.
I know exactly what you mean and it makes perfect sense, but nevertheless, the daily quest instructs you to meditate in the broken temple, and it means that roof structure stuck in the mud near all the crabs in the beginning.
Oooooooo
I get it now
I think it's supposed to be one of the floating buildings like the ones above the GW social area
Maybe this piece came from the actual ruined temple/first krill area.
Yeah I think you're correct
fun fact: the buildings there are also the far buildings you see when you go to the Valley stadium OOB
Cool
Is it okay to ask lore questions in here?
Anything you like yes
Yes
Okay well, does anyone know what the markings here represent? I just found the place and I'm curious.
looks like forest temple to me
It represents the sort of work they did here
Ah. It seems there's boats with light jars in them, so that makes sense.
Mining, processing and delivering 'light', possibly in the form of the power stones
Thank you for the explanation.
Also, the boats might of came from prairie
Since you see that the pots were placed into the boats
So form prairie to forest
Ah so that's what the forest temple door means
They needed raw materials from both Forest and Prairie to craft those glowing stones
Hello 👋 i’m new in this but don’t u guys think that that the secret butterfly area in forest was made by that monster thing in the cutscene?
Welcome. Maybe to some degree, like the entrance tunnel?
yeah, it might of done some digging for the entrance of the tree, but it seems unlikely that it fit through the entrance. Maybe it grew up there?
I noticed that to when i first got to valley oob
is it vaild that the Pointing Candlemaker's wife and kid may have left to go leave the candles in the other realms ?
since they cant really fit all those candles they made in their house
imo i dont think they were candlemaker's family, i think they were more like apprentices of some sort
Wait when we saw the spirit memory in Isle and we saw a skykid laying on the ground doesn't that mean we were there before?
That was a winged light or a star actually
Was there ever another spirit memory with that sort of winged light or skykid character featured?
No i don't think so, i havent seen all of the seasonal spirit's memories tho. The normal non-seasonal ones only have one winged light in their memory and that's "come here" spirit
The spirit memory of "come here" spirit from isle having a wl star child in there
also wondering if any other spirit memory has a wl featuring in it too
Oh, i really dont know what that can mean
Maybe one of the first sykids to ever arrive?
Idk, it clashes with what i have in my theory
So i really dont know
But arent winged lights different from us skykids? That was probably just a star that fell from the sky
I have a question which is not related to this topic right now.
Is it possible that the vault elder is “the king”?
I dont think so tbh
It looks like the main priest of the vault
Not a ruler neither an ex ruler
But look at how all the elders sit at the top of the vault, like the vault elder is in the middle...
that's probably because the builders of the vault favored the vault elder
or that's his sign of saying that 'this is my property'
In the final cave of prophecy painting, the central figure and the Vault Elder are both pictured. It depends whether you feel the central figure is the King, but the Vault Elder isn't really given a prominent position in the painting, fitting for a king, either.
posts again cutely

if everything else needing diamond to activate (eg doors) work so well, why arent the turrets working anymore??
Technically the turrets were jus an old concept of the game that most likely never made it to the final design
But lore wise I think they jus broke and weren’t operable anymore due to aged decay
Hehe I always think that those creatures were real in Sky but they went extinct before we came
I just realized lmao
These aren't diamonds but recolored bricks
What if they used manta juice to paint over them so they'd look glowing
H
They look similar to the white portals—
The 8 player door in prairie and sunny forest entrance from boneyard
Maybe they're the same material—
I got a picture of the final wall mural
Kinda horrifying to see them stealing light from mantas and putting them in jars
And the fact that they harvested light from the giant manta for the largest crystal.
You can also see how they harvested ligjt in the laughing spirit
I think they aren't harvesting light. They are storing information in the capsules in vault. From the mural you can see that vault's spirit/memory mantas are just projections/holograms of the organisms whose information was stored in the diamond
Tom zhao concept art
I think they are harvesting light. That's why the mantas are in the picture
Also the laughing spirit shows how they took light from the birds
I have a theory:the true elder of eden is the friends we make along the way
How exactly do they— acquire the manta juice?
Manta/light creature juicers (e.g forest temple, broken temple (GW)
do you have pictures?
I’m a bit too lazy to look
Lmao
Ok I'm gonna show you the proof
You know how you meet the elder of each realm at the end of it?
Yeah you meet all your friends (bot replicas of them with their name)
Also the elders face are on their respective realm portal
And the eden portal has multiple face on the portal
Friends prehaps
Pls ignore my sky kid
Those are the masks of the elders. From left to right: Prairie, Forest, Vault, Wasteland and Valley. Probably
I’m doing my trials and on the wind trial I keep getting overshot and undershot ;-;
Yeah what Crimson said
@sharp socket How did you get that shadow role
And what is it
Nvm it's gone
I don’t know-
check the pins in general
Oka
y
Ohh I see
Also oops I asked in lore chat which is unrelated zggsikgxkgx
Also
With the elders' faces being on the Eden portal
actually BRB let me get a screen shot
okay anyways
So the elder faces are on this portal. On top is that diamond shape which is often a symbol of the king. Since the elder faces are on the portal, then the diamond on top of the portal represents the king possibly, and since the king's head is on top of the Eden portal, maybe it symbolizes that he's the Eden elder.
good theory.
however...
we said all elder faces except isle’s is on this portal. there are 6 realms, 1 elder per each (assuming valley is 1 bc their stone is two halves of a whole). that means without isle there are 5 elder stones on eden portal. when you look at the portal there is 5. so from this i conclude eden elder’s face is not on this door.
Eden elders face is above the 5 faces

I have just one more evedence for my theory
The eden constellation in the vault elder cutscene looks like the favorite friend constellation
random thought-what would happen, if we were just to break the whole of the vault of knowledge and have all the jars break and hell break loose
the corrupt elder creature looks like toothless
Why are there so many pots in vaut? Wut is its use? What’s inside?
this is terrifying
if this....thing, acutlaly came and devoured the prarie, then i swear, i would just toss my phone in the blender and make a smoothie to comfort myself
It would be like burning an ancient library with centuries of knowledge. There would be the loss of precious archived information.
Like the Library of Alexandria
I think those are stored with people's memories but idk
no...? that’s forest elder’s. 5 elders (except for isle) from the realms, 5 faces.
Prairie, Forest, Valley, Wasteland, Vault, that’s 5 elders enough (seeing Valley’s as 1). eden door has 5 faces
@sinful anvil we're talking about this not the faces
oh
lol
Good thinking polusky
Also that bell got the same sound slike the one in the flying castle
Why do sky kids never ever open their eyes?
They have eyes? I thought they just didn’t have faces under the masks
They have faces though
Yeah they do
Chibis “blink” so I guess they just don’t like opening their eyes without the mask or something or simply because think of how creepy it would look
They only open they’re eyes when wearing masks as I’ve seen
They probably do! Just never without a mask
Sky kid shy
I think Skykids’ eye sockets are empty and they have some orb of light in them instead of an eyeball
And me and my friend were theorizing that it might be some fashion trend of some sort
Like just to do strange stuff with one’s eyes to make them literally sparkle
But that doesn’t make sense
What a painful trend to have as a sky kid
Yeah
Also, I have a question, when your relieving memories, and you get to the part when you have to light up the spirit, does that dark stature represent where they died? Or is it just the most prominent memory they have?
👀
I guess the most prominent memory they have but maybe they died close to where we find their body
Yeah that’s what I thought it was
I think it’s just a memory, would be bad to have a dead elder body laying around
I can imagine Tearful Light Miner dying in that cave of grief
:’3
Cuz the crying spirit in forest could have died like thier friend and be overtaken by the darkness
Maybe both?
Yeah
Maybe their bodies just poof
Nah :’D
And turn into light and went to orbit
Like they die and their spirits just poof to their most prominent memory doomed to replay it over and over again until they are ascended
They can’t go to orbit without our help I guess
Welp
I guess that could be right
If so that’s a very sad afterlife, especially for the tearful light miner
Their forced to watch their friends die again and again
Now if you excuse me I have to go free the light miner cuz I’m sad now
Isn't there a king?
King?
I think it had at some point, as Yue mentioned, it could be the king
Woah
It's name is Aleph wasn't it?
Resh
Corruption?
Alef was the prince but they could be the same person
Wait you can be corrupted?
Yeah I guess
I mean if you look closely at shipwreck, there’s a lot of pipes with darkness leaking
I actually headcanon that Wasteland was corrupted in the past, it looked like a psychosis with a big tendency to violence against other light creatures and the delusion that every light creature is evil and one is actually a dark creature
(Just a headcanon)
I actually think it’s more like trash water
Tar
Yeah sky people being bad of some sort
Someone succeeding in all the trials and becoming ✨ultimate shiny✨?
Buff moth doesn't need a cape to be buff
Lol
The entrance murals are about the trials, and each mural after than represents some part of the trials and then some shiny dude a s c e n d I n g
Wheeeeee
Like they got all wisdoms and somehow the Elders had those and dude became shiny
(I’m sorry I talk nonsense I just woke up
)
Also do we have theories about what in the world GW and Eden were producing in those pipes? I'm thinking both of them sort of act as "the perils of pollution" but I'm not sure
What if Krill are just sewage alligators but BUFF
Yes
MANTA JUICE
Sometimes I imagine Forest Elder trying to find a way to clean the waters in Wasteland and Wasteland Elder is like “COULD YOU STOP EXPERIMENTING WITH MY WATER OR I’LL COMMIT ARSON IN YOUR REALM”
I’m sorry I’m gonna go
Bai
M-
M a n t a j u i c e ????
Why does that sound like something some skykids would drink
I do 🧃
Im-
Wait, so I don't know the context, why do you think it was manta juice of all things???
Wait, do manta even have juice???
“
”
You can go here and then go to environment the first theories are all about wasteland water
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-SOY_5WrhQ2ftVZEM9VMBsz92-n_53kBzQoHKmY2-24/edit?usp=drivesdk
How do you make juice
Poor mantas
Manta juicer in forest aka forest temple. Wasteland was filled with these factories. The wasteland water could be polluted with darkstone ore. Darkstone is another name for the material the diamonds are made from
where's shipwreck lel
After graveyard? On the right side pipe
Right.

Iirc wasteland elder's concept is that they were supposed to be in some sort of,, ye,, psychosis.....???????? Until uhh the skykids help them snap back to themselves again but then GW elder sacrifices themselves by opening the gate for the skids to safety while staying back to fend off the darkness creatures
I was talking about my headcanon that was inspired by this concept. He was corrupted and the kids brought him back to himself.
In my headcanon he now still suffers psychosis but his corruption is gone and he manages well so he isn’t dangerous to light creatures anymore
Oooo :OOOO i see forgive me hhhh,,, now that's interesting

:3
And I have a headcanon that everyone kept distance from him when he was corrupted and only
visited him...
They basically thought corruption is some superpower and they found it really cool
Now I wonder how the visits went
: “Hi-“
Wasteland: *flinches* “ITOLDYOUNOTTOCOMEAGAIN”
: “Lol”
And when Wasteland was more calm
would sit on his shoulder and be really happy like that
||This one is cute||
OMG IM SO SORRY
Sjsks
Anyway
There were probably some moments where Wasteland got out of control but
can run and hide quite fast and then run back to him when he’s calm again
And they’re just like “H-how did ya do that that was so cool
”
I was just imagining
dodging all the earthquake causing spear or fist strikes
And if they’d get hurt
would cry and Forest will come bonk Wasteland with her hammer because actually she cares a lot about Valley
Hammers are blunt and ignore armor, especially without padding so thats possible
Oh what if the hammer smacking his protective mask partially smacked away part of the corruption
Lol
Maybe
Forest would be happy to have a reason to bonk him more
Like, partly corrupted but atleast the bonk made him talk first and fight later
GW elder: I feel g—
Forest Elder: grips hammer
GW: gREAT
Valley:

Also I guess this happened a lot
: “I wanna become corrupted
”
Forest: “No-“
: “Yes!”
Wasteland: “A terrible idea, really”
: “Wanna get corrupted”
Meanwhile
always like:
Hi, so are any new lores?
It would be terrible idea cuz imagine these sporty fast bois acting aggressive-
I actually think if
was corrupted they’d be double dead quite soon
Yeah
And nothing but their appearance would change
maybe all elders were corrupted in some way
Corrupted
would be a big problem tho
replace the bat with a sword

Ouchies
But tbh I think Forest would just bonk him and he’d be like “Nvm I won’t kill everybody for now”
The bat can be a blunt weapon
i'm sure the blow will be devastating
Not as blunt as the hammer but its like a club
do you think people in valley of triumph held fighting sports? like gladiators or something
Yeah
it would be weird to see people fighting in the colosseum
HmMmmmm, I'm not sure, did they spar? The Golden Wasteland surely sparred
a war is different from entertainment
Though maybe when it was like in the cutscene
Yeah, sparring is for practice and entertainment
what if they fought to death/extinguished?
valley elders sure seemed quite aggressive
Yeah
In Valley, I think those people who died have their grave stones in the Valley temple as well as the Valley Elders themselves
ok j have abother question:
I think that the Valley Elders died in the stadium, either through fighting each other or fighting one or several enemies together
Though the star constellation says they fought each other
since valley if triumph have the opposing teams red(dreams) and blue (rhythm), would the valley elders be on any side?
Oh, so they werent just sparring, it went as far as gladiatorial fights
I think one took one side and the other the other
Do the scratches on each team's banner imply any of this?
These banners are just quite old I guess
@scenic surge it's the rainbow clock:
It appears thete at 5:00 (Pacific time) so you need go there according to your time zone to experience it
Gladiator fights on ice
I don’t think there was always ice in the colosseum
Back when Valley were alive, there wasn’t ice, I guess the clouds that were there once kinda froze over time (which isn’t possible I guess but let’s pretend it’s possible)
Cloudy fights
Yeah I guess
So the colosseum/stadium looked like Valley still remembers it
And thinking about, would that mean the story of Season of Dreams played after Valley Elders’ death?
Or maybe Valley’s memory just sucks
Quite a shame if these gladiatorial fights resulted in the loser's death, those skills would be of great use in the darkness on GW
Yeah :’3
Yes

To relieve myself, lets just say a touched from the blades counts as hit, not going ham on eachother
Bonk
It's cute
I just remembered when I once thought about what would happen right after Valley awakened from their coma after their soul and body split...
would have trouble walking and they’d get really excited when they can finally walk without any support and they’d run outside to tell
but they stop when they see him already playing soccer and they’d get really sad and go back inside

AAA
YES

Thats the first time they feel jealousy
Shkshskaha i love this hc sooo much
And then that’d repeat and repeat and repeat with other things until they choose to make
’s life hell out of jealousy
hey just doing some reading here bc i'm interested with lore, one question, what does headcannon mean?
Something one thinks could be canon but isn’t really canon I guess?
ooooo i see, thank you, sorry for interrupting
this talk about the valley elders sounds so interesting tho
Like in my headcanon this and that happened but there’s just very little evidence for that so it’s not a theory
Headcanon: Valley like milk
Okay that’s random back to
’s jealousy
Okay but a question, what if manta behave like cow
What

||Hi I’m a manta, I behave like a human
||
Oh like i have this hc where a manta want to bevome a skid
And they ask a skid for a way to be a skid

Die and hope that you get reborn in a Skykid body
Anyway uhh idk maybe they can ask enchant qg for a potion for it
Ah yes that would do
||To comfort myself, Ill just think manta juicers are just mantas being milked like cows, dont want them be acquired any other way||
..manta juice?
Why do I think Manta juice would taste like sour milk to dark creatures
Oh-
What if it taste like stale milk
Anyway im on car rn so gotta off rn, cya later

Oh bai :’3
||i do not want to imagine the ways of acquiring manta juice i pretend i do not see u-u||
Forest: :)
So anyway-
would get so jealous of
that they’d try to hurt him and it never really works because either he dodges or Forest bonks them
Until Valley get to the point that they fight each other in a duel and both die
||Krill juice
||
: “A yes that’s tasty” *cough*
: *throws up all the krill juice they drank*
I think krill juice would taste like a really bad taste medicine lol
Except its not medicine
Yes
Just a ||light sucker, like contaminated water||
(Afk)
ooo idk if this makes sense but
getting jealous reminds me of their cutscene, their jealousy could've started when
managed to steal the skid's light offering from
and
bonked it before
could
idk if that makes sense tho just wanted to share my thoughts
(I’m back)
I think it started before
Like I really think it started when
started to become stronger and more skilled than
despite being given the same training and education
Hc : before the diamond goes boom, mushroom already killed asparagus and actually regret it. After the diamon goes boom and all elder goes to limbo, mushroom included. They stuck in the void alone. That is, until the skid come. Mushroom reunited with asparagus right before the skid meditate to meet them
Ehe
Oh
Asparagus is not angry that mushroom killed them, rather they actually feel happy since mushroom is considered as the weaker and by finally beating them is like proving that mushroom does have power
Uhhh you got my point ahahahah
Though I think Valley died at the same time and were stuck together since then
And
hated every second of it because they couldn’t take being weak in front of someone strong and healthy
A w
wants to reunite with them and even support them but
doesn’t wanna accept it because they wanna be strong on their own
im living for the angst
ooh yeah that could be too
Also
would rather be angry than happy if
gave them the fire or let them have it, because they wanted to claim it on their own and
“felt the need to make it easier for them”
Aw-
This got me thinking, what if asparagus tried to be the strongest so they can protect the other half?
And yet mushroom never know the reason why asparagus always be the strongest
lmaooo asparagus
Lmao im sorry
I think that yeah,
wants to protect
but he only receives punches and kicks from them in return
i refuse to call
anything other than asparagus from now on
Ah y e s
Sibling misunderstanding each other
Hell yeah
Asparagus always rememnber the pain they felt when they got splitted, and to ensure that kind of pain never befell on them and their other half, asparagus try to become the strongest
They also know that mushroom is weaker than them, so they try to be stronger to protech mushroom too
Yet muahroom misunderstood
But I think
was kinda born more healthy than
because Megabird tried to balance the twins
He doesn’t even realize that he’s that strong, let alone would wanna use it to do harm,
would use the power to do harm though so Megabird didn’t give them power
:33
I also think
would want to help
but they’d refuse
But sometimes they’re too weak to refuse and that would be the most wholesome moments in their life
This reminds me of the "The problem with being faster than light is that you can only live in darkness" thing
Valley twins agree on one thing and one thing only: Causing chaos
You're so fast your bro resents you
I actually have some moments in a roleplay where
tried to help
the best he could and it was really wholesome
...or would be if my friend didn’t love angst so much

maybe causing chaos is their only bonding experience but it would often get out of hand bc
would start competitions or smth and
would get angry
can i have the transcript for that in dm?

Hey i love angst too mwehehehhe
angst is great if done correctly
Oh oki sure :3
Example : starmybunny's sky story
Ayee
Oh i was gonna say something... hm lemme write it
Nvm im at loss of words oop
Basically its about how Megabird decide how to balance the freshly splitted valley twins
At first she choose to made them balanced, with same power etc. But then she saw darkness in one of the twin's heart that they got when they got splitted. Se instead she give more power to the other twin
wait who are we talking about?
In case of when that darkness taking over, the other twin have strenght to stop them
Or at least the stronger one can keep their twin's darkness on bay, like preventing the darkness to entirely control the twin
ever tasted the dark? thats what it tastes like
You eman coffee?
coffee has a bitter taste
darkness tastes like darkness
because krills are made of almost pure darkness
what does light taste like
Dark coffee without sugar
Whoever said the water in GW is soy sauce, just letting you know that I'm
black oil
Oil contaminated water
Lmao Soy sauce 😂😂
does anyone know in what world the next season is going to be in???
yea
I see
i want it to be vault
yeah, but what would it look like in-game? pretty cool, i guess lol
||maybe a "seasons of memories" where there are hopscotch and cartwheel emotes that everyone has asked for, and a longer, curly hair, and a "diary" where you can put images and stories in?||(I should move this to wishlist)
Is there a discussion what could have been happened to the residents of the realms?
not currently, but it's been discussed in the past
since TGC hasn't revealed what has happened to the inhabitants of the world of Sky, you are free to create whatever theory/interpretation you would like
nah its oyster sauce
would it be allowed to share the link to a doc of personal theories? It is not intended to replace any existing materials, just provide insight into my personal take on the lore?
I don't see why not, but you can double check with the mods in #contact-the-mods if you're concerned about it being against the #rules and/or getting taken down before people can read it
In the game “Journey”, the people fought each other and destroyed their own civilisation.
And the game looks a lot like Journey’s plot...
We’re talking about drinking the GW water?? The elder asks that you PLEASE DON’T
elder is dead
elder told us not to drink the water
conclusion: elder died because they did not drink the water
action: drink the water
crabs are alive
crabs live in the water and thus, likely drink it
Conclusion: Crabs are alive because they drank the water
action: drink the water
yeah, there's a lot of similarities between Journey and Sky (TGC made both), so there could be some lore similarities
I want to see that ! I was analysing the frescoes. There are a lot of things that hasn’t been explained yet.
I want a season about the main story line.
I just want a LITTLE info TGC... plz
Do you think that ||Krill could have been “built” by the ancestors ?||
no need to spoiler tag here!
that is the theory docc
Ok 😉
Youhou, that’s reading time !!
only thing we're not allowed to talk about here full stop is beta only content
not even with spoiler tags
Ah...
also obviously don't talk about things that would break the #rules
Noodle, I've only just started looking through it, and it's a great presentation so far
I really like this piece of concept art that appears to show a krill as being bones + darkness, that's my favorite explanation for what they are
also, I'm really glad people seem to be enjoying the doc
noodle, it's a great presentation
really does a good job to sum up a lot of the major points in this channel and concept art
You did a great job really ! I haven’t finished to read, but wanted to say thank you before the chat moves to another topic.
thank you!
I never spotted that this “Prince” could be some sort of king. I thought it was another sky child. I have trouble understanding that character’s timeline... 🧐 I’m now all confused hahaha.
- where is that fresco about blue energy from the hidden forests trees? On the door of the last temple?
Sorry guys, with that silly question, but I have a big doubt about the king and the prince , we know that the king exists through conceptual arts and the statues of eden and etc. and we know the prince by the paintings of the cave of prophecy, in the beginning and in the memory of the spirit of the dawn island, (at least I think it is), well, my question is where did the King come from? Do you have any explanation for this, because he doesn't appear to fall with the elders in the beginning, will there be any explanation of where He came? I'm sorry for the interruption ... •́ ‿ ,•̀
Don’t be. I’m curious about that little one too!
In the doc, if I understand well, it’s a character that went successfully under all the trials in the cave of prophecy. And then he “gave” his power to the elders ? 😭 I have to replay the game from the very beginning.
there's not really any canon explanation of the king and/or prince, but there's a lot of theories from the Prophecy murals
some concept art had the king and prince as separate entities while others had the prince be crowned as king
it's unclear which concept (if any) was put into the game as it is now
I'm endlessly disappointed that completing the trials and unlocking that big mural didn't open a door to something cool, i thought for sure if you flew into the gold center part it would turn you gold or something
Ark really did set us up for potential disappointment after the whole Ark shop
That being said, I think Prophecy was intended to be more lore focused than anything else
even if it was just a cool grove to meditate in or something. the mural itself is pretty cool though, imho
it's hard to please everyone.
technically each trial unlocks a new element in the cave itself along with the mural, so they may have been going for an overall effect rather than one big one
So far, isn’t season of prophecy the only season to be linked to the main story line ?
depends on what you want to call the "main story line"
All seasons are apart of the main story line
Except the seasons are more for world building rather than the main story, prophecy sort of explained some gaps tho
There's a story line?
there's a story line, but the purpose of this channel is to determine the story line as the devs wanted to keep it somewhat ambiguous
Yes, I mean, I see the last season and the enchantment season like a “slice of life” of what happened during the golden age or the collapse. That’s difficult to express. I’m not a native English speaker...
I think I see what you're saying
TGC flat out said that Sanctuary was more intended to be an escape than anything else
I'm also not
There doesn't seem to be any forward progression in a story
To me, the season of enchantment (and season of lightseekers) was more of a side story
there's lots of world building but seems like the game is in a static state, narrative-wise
It’s meant to be incomplete actually
I tend to think of the journey through the world of Sky as a bit of a history exploration where you're seeing a ruined world and trying to piece together the story yourself
Yes, that’s what I feel. And the one of Sanctuary clearly is some sort of “pause”.
It feels a little like we're ghosts in a post-society world, reliving spirits and kinda inhabiting ruins
the story is about adults sending children to fix the problems the adults created
I get more of a feeling that we're uncovering a story that already happened, but that there's little active story happening
Thanks
Just like Journey was...
the two games definitely share a lot of characteristics
Sky is a much happier game than Journey
And that’s a bit annoying don’t you think?
I was so impressed when I played Journey the very first time! I sort of... expected something different. And we seem to be in the same narrative construction. Being an avatar that land after the grand crisis. I love mystery, that’s why I play the game. But somehow, I can’t stop thinking of the similarities...
I kind of see Sky as a build off Journey. furthering the ideas with more resources and game design
so it doesn't bother me.
but i played Journey on PS2 and had a LONG time between it and SKY
idk if that would be different if i'd played it more recently
I see. It’s been several years since my first “journey” too. But enough to remember the way I enjoyed the story. (Maybe too much). Haha.
We will see what the next seasons will be about.
By the way, do you think the next one will be in forest? This is the only kingdom with vault that does not have a brand new “big area”.
Isle has Prophecy, Prairie has Sanctuary, Valley has Dreams.
I'd love to see an expansion in Forrest
I think Vault could use it more though.
Forrest has that cool cavern and a few open if not huge areas already
I'd like to see a more open area based around vertical travel
like a giant tall tree to climb
Well, they did dig holes in Isle before the cave of prophecy. I hope forest is next.
I think the games pacing could benefit from more desolate spaces too. Isle's HUGE empty areas are kind of fun
Reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus and all that huge empty space to explore
Ho! I send a note on the wish list chat for that. And I think that they can’t put to many details in the maps (datas). The world is almost a desert everywhere. There are no trees in the sanctuary islands, it’s so empty... The ones in the Forest are just trunks without leaves.
(I’m not complaining about that. It’s just an observation).
Totally. This kind of scared me... Haha. To be alone, and lost, and being manipulated. Haha
Right. Sky has no feeling of alone, and it could use that contrast
there's other sky kids everywhere
if the zones had areas that felt desolate and isolating, then the home area and starting area's would feel more special
You’re right. Well, now it’s night time for me and I have even more questions than I had before joining that chat room.
Good night ! Thanks 🙏
Amore
So up on top of Prairie I got a good view of this mountain with a beam of light and lightning. is that Eden?
You got to the top in Prairie?
I assume so (||but that's just a theory....||||.......||||...... ||||a game theory!||)
That's obviously Eden, it has the beam, the lightning
it did say when you went there "An escape from daily civilization"
sanctuary is like that one beach episode trope in tv series, a fun break from the main plot an noooooot completely canon
let's just talk about how the mantas' shadows are circles

they're what
manta shadows are circles, although imo its probably more for technical reasons. if manta shadows were rendered with RTX ray tracing then our phones would be able to cook an egg
You just made me realize how amazing the lighting is in sky technically how did they do that
AIGHT
Y'all know how yeti slopes kinda looks like Eden?
What if that's what Eden once looked like, and we're actually seeing the past through a dream. The entirety of the area is nothing more than a figment of our imagination detailing what once existed before it became the Eden we now know.
You ever wonder what the Ark’s destination was

hello! i have a question
what was the mega birds purpose in the lore? what did it do?
in concept art, megabird was kind of like the creator deity, iirc
all creatures were born from and returned to the megabird to be reborn again
in game, megabird lore is very, very fuzzy, if it's there at all
If you think about it, when you see the credits; there are multiple stars(?) Each one for every person who was a part in making sky.
In the end, said stars(?) Zoom out and form megabird.
So technically, Megabird represents the creators as a whole and is therefore still the creator of sky 0vo
Jkjk
ktjn's clones are watching

I finally thought of an theory if anyone would like to hear 🧍🏽♀️
I see an answer, I might take an while to type it all out because it’s gunna b an kinda long message
Okay so like the other day I remember seeing someone say in this channel that they have an theory about the different realms being like, different timelines in the game, I forgot who it was that said that but credits to that person for thinking that, and like I was starting to think deeply about that, and I was thinking about how the valley race you have to collect all the fragment lights to finish the race, and I was thinking that the twins were mostly the main reason why the other realms are like, abandon, I can’t really think of an word to perfectly describe the other realms, and how using fragment lights in both flying and sliding races seem like wasting energy, if that makes sense, and even in the cutscene the twin elders were fighting over the little light, which would end up with one of the twins punting it at the sky, so maybe the twins during their time when they were alive would cause an very very big problem, which would then make the twins fight over light and possibly power too, but that’s just my theory
I have another theory connected to this, about Golden Wasteland buts it an work in progress, you can give me some critique with this theory :]
Not really much lore but I just wanna talk about the meaning behind this
. If we assume it's a Phoenix cape, it can symbolize 'eternity/immortality' . Maybe it's a reward for someone who never giving up their DREAMS ; just like the Phoenix that always rise back from the ashes/fire
That sounds very interesting :0
Btw headcanon: I like to think that the Prairie elder is an father figure and Forest elder is an sister figure to the Valley elders
For me the Forest elder is like a mom to the Valley elders
That sounds cute

the fact that sky kids can kip up after falling on their back proves their frighteningly strong and thus further validates the existence of
Imo gw would be father figure for the twins, and prairie will be older brother figure

Either way they are a very big family
quite literally
So she teaches them to steal from sky kids....... Interesting
This makes more sense and makes it more cuter
In the valley of triumph, we are in the mountains. I doubt that the village of dreams would be some kind of illusion from what Eden was. I think it’s more the suburbs of the coliseum. This area was once the more populated. And it represents the apogee of that civilisation, isn’t it?
There are houses and buildings all along the races when you rush trough the mountains from the citadel. So I think the purpose of valley and the upcoming seasons taking place there will all be about splendour hours, dreams people want to accomplish, competitions and performances.
To me, Eden is more quiet than this place, and more luxurious. It was a palace as I understand.
Guys, what if the final reward of the season of dreams is megabird costume?
It would be a clue that somehow TGC did not give up that idea.
When you enter the citadel, there is that bird statue on an altar. It’s wings are open, and the belly is facing the sky. Pretty much like an offering or a tribute. The position of that animal suggest that it’s a carving and probably not a bird that was petrified. I think. Could it have been there, on the top of the mountain, some sort of bird worship?
I’m connecting the dots little by little.
In the wasteland, there was some kind of war. And I’m favorable to the théorie that two factions of ancestors went into a war to access and defend the vault energy stock (diamonds of light).
Here is the connection. There are scattered shields with a sun and others with diamonds. I didn’t spotted any sun shapes in valley, but, if there was a bird worship there (sun, origin, creation god), maybe that conflict opposed Valley and Eden.
Those two look to be the two powerful places in the game. Like Bevelle against Zanarkand in FFX.
The wall is clearly visible with this glitch
The wall that protects the Vault?
Can I just
my silly headcanon
So, you know the dragon showing up in Home lately? And the way it drops orbs that act a little like darkness?
My headcanon is that it was broken down a long time and, like many other pieces of ancestor tech, got infected with darkness and whatnot. The dark orbs are meant to be fireworks, but they're infected by darkness and their light is trapped. But! Now the dragon can celebrate with everyone again, because the skykids are here! The skykids don't mind a little darkness! In fact, they love to burn it and are delighted that the dragon brings them these light-filled gifts.
that's my headcanon on dragon lore.
Oh and that dragon emit the same sound we hear when we activate elevator btw
Buzzing sound
If you hear closely
Hi guys, I think you already went through that archeological process, but I’m new to that chat room. So let me expose my théorie.
In that theory, Valley attacked the Vault in order to access the energy stock. Somehow they went short on ressources because Eden and the palace monopolised manufactured light and they were destroying the world to create a giant light diamond. Or maybe, Valley people worshiped sun light over manufactured light and wanted to put an end to that crazy race for power.
I went in a little run to search for clues of that.
In the citadel (Valley), the round platforms are in the shapes of the “sun shields” found in the wasteland. In the wasteland, the statue near the catapult is doing the same pose as the last travelling spirit (duck mask) that comes from season of rhythm (Valley). The first zone in the wasteland is called “broken temple” and bears the architectural designs of valley. So maybe that zone was an extension of the Valley territory.
Still in wasteland, there is a temple that looks like the forest temple. It has diamond shape designs on the walls. Diamond shapes are found on the shields before the entrance of Vault.
And here is the diamond design that suggest an affiliation to manufactured light :
Enchantment murals are screaming rn
Wh- what is that sticker- I-
Pspspspsp that dragon was suppose to throw crabs instead of pearls
Good observation he he we do have several discussions on that now and then
Wasteland was actually a factory area and it was converted into a fortress on king's order to protect eden
The war theories are archived here
You can read theories by different people here
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-SOY_5WrhQ2ftVZEM9VMBsz92-n_53kBzQoHKmY2-24/edit?usp=drivesdk
Cool thanks !
The why people attacked has not been revealed...
No we know nothing about who fought the war and why it happened
So I've noticed that there are two conflicting theories about what sort of war was fought in wasteland (whether or not it was a fight against an invading force of krill or a civil war) so I've had an idea! What if both happened?
Well, it is possible that its either a traditionalist sect that attacked or an invading force
Or a coup
Very possible
Had a conversation with pyre over another chat, he discussed krills potentially becoming a version of landmines
Wanna see
?
I have to backread a bit
But I can just screenshot it and put it here
Like some sort of civil war had broken out between the diamond shield faction and the Sun faction but during the fighting or shortly after the krill arrived. Already weekend by the previous conflict, both factions or whatever faction that was victorious would have been unable to withstand such a formidable foe and would have been decimated.
Sure!
Also, there is also his theory that at some point the loyalists might have used the krills but backfired spectacularly
Sorry for the pictures being long lel
That’s what I’m thinking too. Maybe the cause of the war was the problem of manufactured light and because of that, Krill went down the mountain attacking ships and causing ravage. This lit the civil war... Maybe.
@magic gust thank you!
Or they sparked the war before then and used the krills as directed, reusable, barely-controlled weapons
Which is kinda both smart and idiotic on their part
Since chances of 'friendly' fire will be high
But the mayhem
Will be large enough
That any opposing army will stagger and just fall into disorganized chaos
Or the Krill are the forces of the planet. Big manta corrupted by darkness.
If I remember correctly, in the forgotten arc there is a mural of the krill arriving with the storm and hunting down all the light creatures
Hmm
So that's either that
Or they basically turned the plague
That they were combatting
Into their weapons
Oh
So it came after the Fall?
They're a lot like an invasive species if you think about it
Yes
Maybe! I'm not quite sure
Maybe the storm symbolizes the civil war
Also possible that the ark was basically a cargo ship that goes to and fro the Kingdom's territory
Idk, haven't visited it yet
But I'm at GW
The Arc carried magic inside of it
You can actually buy spells from it if you complete the quests there!
Oh really? Thanks for the tip lel
But in Prophecy, the krill already exists in the clouds, it’s shown going down the mountain when the king is on the top of Eden.

'The kingdom shall prosper under the Child of Light reign, but beware of the darkness lurking'
Thats my interpretation of the final prophecy mural btw lol
Hmm i womder what the lore about the krills

"Crustacean bad"
Found this inside a skykid's body 🤔???

How did you manage to perform an autopsy on a skykid??
It's from early beta
Stand near a wall and adjust camera angles
Hey, that's my picture :D
That's me and my pal I named Gaster
Early beta testers know many things that we don’t know

So each realm has its special building style.
Isle: Stone Cave
Prairie: Nest and Village
Forest: Machine
Valley: here are
Wasteland: Factory and Ports
Vault: Library
If you're ever curious about anything from the beta, feel free to ask about it.
Thank you!
So I wonder what quests in beta were removed after global live version launched?
Just like “Activate the ancient machine”
It wasn't really a case of quests being removed exactly at the live launch. More that they were trying out a lot of different things over time, many of which eventually got removed. By the time live launch came, those quests were already long gone.
But let me think... It's hard to remember many because most of them were terrible and removed for good reason. I rarely did them. There was "Change your pants" and I think "change your hair." There were some location specific ones like finding the golden pot in vault, the barricades in wasteland, or some specific cape buying stations back before spirits sold the capes. Modern quests like "meditate with the spirit mantas" are like an evolution of this. Back then you just went to the spot and there you got it, but now we at least have a fun activity to do when we get there.
There were also multiple quests for flying continuously, some shorter and some longer, but all the same thing. Basically you just had to fly around on the clouds for a while. Was sorta nice and zen at first, but the 5th time you get the fly for 1 minute straight quest it gets OLD.
Thx, now I understand it
i listened to a silent podcast and i could hear some singing here
This is the pendant from season of belonging. Why does it have the same design than Valley buildings ?
Can someone remember me the plot please? I participated but honestly I forgot. Was it the wanderers we have to gather in the new forest area (table tree with a chimney)?
the new forest area is for belonging season iirc
...nvm i read your question wrong lol
i think the belonging symbol is symbolizing the family strong bond like a chain
something like that idk
and the one in valley is representing sunset
Sunset. Okay. Can we assume that the season of dreams is taking place “before” the global fall?
And that globally each season belongs to the timeline of the kingdom it is in?
Not exactly lore and vey confusing:
does anybody else frequently hear the notes that are at the end of orbit? Like this for example, I hear clips of it in every realm
I don’t know. It sounds like distant birds.
those are manta, actually
Oh lol, I didn’t give a good example
i spent most of my time playing around with the mantas in sanct, so yeah
i get what you mean btw lazari
Yeah I had no clue how to explain it
i think its like to represent that prairie is... uh, got most Light?
and the fact that they got the whole island tfor the mantas
and jellies
