I can explain this to you

We basically talked about siege weaponry, their land and naval tactics and strategies, and how their battles are probably fought

the phalanx tactics were an example

Basically, think of it as like two swordsmen clashing with each other

they both have momentum, correct?

As well as equal skill

but then imagine an axe being thrown at the enemy's sword arm and hitting

that's the light infantry flank

now distracted, and probably losing the sword, the enemy swordsmen can and will be cut down as he has no armament whatsoever

or, to use more simpler terms, the light infantry split the phalanx like an axe would a tree

and then, since they are halved and can't keep the momentum they have

they can just get crushed

It is interesting that this reborn thing is not a special thing for our planet but a common thing in whole universe. One way or another, living forms in planets created a way to reach to those reborn gates that is situated in space, In our world we have spaceships to reach space, but in sky world they found a way to give them unlimited wing power which is eden and they did reach space by flying with their wings. I wonder about the living forms on other planets and how they reached to space, did they cause a disaster like in sky planet or did they create wiser and healthier way to reach to space. It is somewhat cruel to say if you are not advanced enough you simply die, reaching to space requires great knowledge and technology and there must be thousands of empty planets out there which were previously full of life but ended up dying just because they couldn’t create a technology to go space and be reborn in those gates.

I understand that there is a WWII memorial of the same name irl, but I'm assuming, as many have said, that it is in fact either a place holder, left over, or foretelling of future element

I think that is kind of a bug for now. It's in the Valley stadium oob area, which the devs left open because players enjoy it a lot even though it's not like an official area. Since the most recent update, there is a sort of constellation there that says Star Field Memorial, but there's nothing to actually collect.

They don't really put things in oob areas intentionally, usually, so for now I think it's just a bug or something that got activated accidentally. But we'll see if anything comes out of it I guess

That boat is actually leftover from something in the early beta that was scrapped as well. It's not really there intentionally, it's just that they haven't completely removed it from the game so it can still be accessed. I meant that they don't tend to intentionally add new features in oob areas. I believe Ktjn has even made a statement about that at some point too, I could try to find the post

I doubt they will be, since those are two of the most popular oob areas. Their stance is basically that they're okay with it as long as it doesn't cause detriment to other aspects of the game or give some players an unfair advantage. Since those are just two places that are kind of fun to visit, it's not really hurting anything right now
