when you start playing sky you see a cutscene, and I remember a part when it said "only if they had listened..." did they even do anything to the sky islands or was it that time when eden crystal exploded

Well, it seem that they were holding some parts of elements in boats with some nobles but a krill came along the ark and destroyed the ship before it could make its destination,, it also seem that it was a market place for spells to @dull vortex

I'd like to think of it in this way, the Rhythm spirits were perfomers of entertainment and music. evidence that I could remember is that they have a l o t of instruments and smile-enducing emotes, as well as they are a band. On the other hand, Dreams spirits are perfomers of passion and interpretation as I interpret how this season unfolds. I like think of them as Musicians (Rhythm) and Dancers (Dreams). For they aren't rivals by any means because afterall, no music can dance for itself and no dance can live without a music.

Here is my interpretation of the Cave of Prophecy paintings:

Rejecting Voyager, Ushering Stargazer, Pointing Candlemaker, and his family, are depicted seeing off the boy Prince.
Stargazer’s spirit memory does indeed depict the Prince’s arrival from the stars.

The Prince arrives at the mouth of the Cave of Prophecy

The Prince completes the trials, gaining the powers of the elements.

The Prince returns, and grants the powers of the elements to his chosen. Note how the twins are depicted as normal people here. Rejecting Voyager and Ushering Stargazer, his adoptive parents, are depicted, greeting him upon his return.

The chosen, now exalted and transformed into immortal gods by the Prince’s gift of elemental power, each lead their followers, further developing the civilization. Prairie Elder leads construction of the temple. Forest Elder nurtures the natural flora and fauna. Wasteland Elder develops defensive technology. Valley Elders develop sky highways. The Prince leads his adoptive family and others up to the holy land, where they will commune with Orbit.

Time has passed. The Prince, through his union with the Elders, the elements, the Kingdom, and the holy land’s communion with Orbit, becomes the King. His power grows immensely. The Kingdom has expanded, and now revolves around his role. The Vault exists now within the core of the holy mountain, and the Capital city is built to honor the King. Vault Elder has been deified by the power of the King. Isle Elder is also depicted.

But... not all is right in the Kingdom. The King has forsaken his sacred duty of leading the people to worship Orbit, and declares himself instead to be the object of the Kingdom’s worship. Stars begin to fall again, as they did in times of old. The King is losing the favor of the cosmos.

Darkness is creeping into the corners of the Kingdom. A stormy wind blows, portending an ill omen.

This paragraph seems very relevant. Maybe the red crystals are consumed /used blue crystals, becoming waste. Was golden wasteland where they created the light crystals? i mean usually they store the waste in the same facility. we know that the waste still affects us today, and it's been years. it damages everything.

In the caves at ark, the crabs seem to have come from either the ground or the sky.
