Hey everyone! Has anyone noticed how we have a “light gem” thingy on the centre of our sky kid? When we take out our candle , it’s not there anymore. I think its the “light” inside us, that is , we’re the children of light so.. also in our shadows our cape does not appear. I think it’s because the cape is powered by light and light cannot cast a shadow. Which is also the reason we lose our cape when we lose all our light. What do guys think? I’m new to the lord channel.

I’ve not looked into any of the lore in this game but I was checking out the spirits in Isle and I noticed that almost all of (by that I mean two) spirits in there are teachers of some sort

The order of the realms feels more like a timeline to me

I read a bunch of the stuff in pins a few minutes ago and this is what I think:
The Isle of Dawn is when pioneers first started exploring the land and worshipping dem elders
Daylight Prairies is when “technological” discoveries were being made (the gathering of light, creation of bells) but worship of the spirits was still a big thing and nature was important (that worshipper spirit, the abundance of creatures of light which help guide and carry the light children throughout)
Hidden Forest had more technological breakthroughs (those fancy bridges and many lanterns and buildings around) but natural light was becoming more scarce (and also that stuff I read about wood and dark stone fusion)

Valley Of Triumph is where society was flourishing thanks to all these advancements and the people were mostly prosperous but there was an absence of creatures of light and similar nature things

Wasteland is the fall, Vault is when they leave knowledge for future generations to fix the past mistakes of the pervious generations

Mostly I just likened it to memory considering the Red Light summons murals in the Ark- kinda like revisiting memories but on a larger scale

Take that interpretation with a grain of salt tho, it hasn't been confirmed yet

As for the Fire Trial I went over that earlier- the dark worms bearing that kind of symbol might have had something to do with our memory

In this case- something to test your courage- manifesting into something one would fear

Likely the idea of memories being used like this has been present since Prophecy but it isn't until Enchantment that it's given a form of it's own I guess

In a completely non-lore related theory, it could be because muted red-orange stands out against pitch black well without making it painfully bright or obvious and simply makes the design better

To link the world of Sky to whatever Orbit's supposed to be

Using the Isle spirits for example, the spirits seem to be more similar to how humans are than they are to the elders. Worshipping fallen stars, the elders, as higher beings/deities and also when that one spirit hidden behind the stone stair things that lead to the Isle shrine witnessed a falling light child, their reaction had no indication that they were aware of what was happening

It seemed more like a “WHOA WHAT IS THAT?! OHMYGODIT’SACHILDGARYGETTHEFIRSTAIDKIT” situation

If we think of the skids as pieces of the Prince then the idea of becoming one works well and that whole scene makes sense

If the Prince played an important part in the story of the world of Sky then it also makes sense that he’d want to know the stories of the people who lived in it, hence the reliving of spirit memories

Okay so I've been thinking about that season teaser and I'm now quite confident that each of the spirits will be inspired by one culture each from within asia.
The one on the right is clearly Korean inspired with the gat and hanbok
The second from the left is most probably inspired by a himalayan culture (where the yeti myth originated and where that clothing is typical)
The one on the left seems to be Chinese inspired, with an angular version of that typical red/gold wave pattern on the cape (though I'm still not sure about that one, because I can't pinpoint the origin of the scarf in my research)...
But I'm completely at a loss as to what culture the second from the right could be inspired by! The closest I can guess at is a similar fur coat I saw in an image of Kyrgyzstani culture, but that's pretty far-out given only the coat. The mask looks a little bit like a bee's antenna or something but I just can't figure out what it could be... Anyone have any better ideas of what region it could be?
