So, by the look of the gw, we can see many pipes and such - I think many agree that wasteland has fallen and all spirits were actually kinda destroyed because of technology... Anyway, I believe that wasteland's waters are polluted with some sort of industrial waste. And we can also assume, that forest was a bit industrial, the blacksmith, shipping butterflies there and such. So maybe the rain is just polluted too? Like, we have met water before in sky and it wasn't harmful.

I don't think eden has a mind of it's own perse. I think itbis more like a corruption type of thing. All pypes in wasteland, ultimately come from the eden. In the art, vault was supposed to be this big city, but perhaps was too heavy for devices.
I reckon it is a story of ingenuity gone wrong.

There are couple reasons why one may think the eden may be creation of the spirits. The crystal design, the machinery near it. Concept art, snowing that it was planned to be a large city before demise. GW barricades confirm it. They are facing away from eden location, as if meant to protect it, not shield from it.

I saw. They may be figures of great importance during the before eden days. That would only solidify eden as being an important pointbof culture, civilization, and maybe even religion. Which would make sense why they are at the mountain peak. It is based around stars.

The winged light part is interesting. May be connected to skids. Perhaps skid is a last ditch effort to clean ip the eden mess they made.

the good thing with such vague lore is that whatever you come up with you can't be proven wrong unless it's in the canon lore doc or something like that but then again we don't have much solid substance to work either

If you are living a memory through a place that is actually broken, but you do not see the brokenness because of the memory, then in the end you do not teleport you just see what is actually around you
