Talking about the anscestors- how did they go extinct?

It can't be a one place thing BC ancestors everywhere are extinct

Or, perhaps the krill aren't inherently biological? They were initially built/synthesized by the ancestors, and are powered by diamonds.

Perhaps once 'built', they were able to reproduce, and create the diamonds as a sort of brain.

there is 3 type of statues in Eden. First, the statue with blue crystals jutting out from the bodies. Second, the bare statue that shattered by the wind when we approache them. These two statue kinds can be seen just before the point of no return cave. and the third are those statues afte rthe point of no return that have blue lines and we can save

The first generation of skid are those bare statues that shattered by the wind. Why did i assum them as the first? Well, you see, unlike two other statues, this one didnt have any mark on their bodies. no lines, no crack, just bare stones. and yet they shattered easily by the wind. its seems these bare statues already there for a long long time ago before us.

Before i continue, did you guys remember our soul colour? Blue. The other two statue kind have blue color, only the shattered statue that didnt have any marking on their bodies. It means these statues didnt have any souls remains in their stone bodies. that is why these statues shattered, just like our body after we lost all of our wls in eye of eden. Its seems the souls of these statues already gone from a long time ago, thats why im assuming they are the first generation of skids

second generation are the statues with blue crystals. this one is quite unique, because unlike the bare statues and the statues in eye of eden this one have blue crystals on their bodies. Some assuming these statues are beta (Lights Awaits) leftover. I myself theorizing this statues are the 2nd generation of skids.

How so? These blue crystals statues have the same shape with the statues in the eye of eden. But why they have blue crystals? for this one im assuming thos eblue crystals are their soul. Remember the colour of our soul? Blue. The crystals are blue too. Their souls got crystallized and stuck forever in their stone bodies. Some crystals are clearly jutting out from the statues, and im assuming it because their souls still trying to escape the stone body

Moving on. Finally the last kind of statue which i assume as the third generation. These statues have blue lines on their bodies and located on eye of eden. The soul of these statues are also stuck in their stone bodies. Unlike the former two statues, we can save these statues by giving them winged lights

i believe our current skykid have the closest connection with the third generation, and we are created with the same feature like them. But we do have our own uniqueness unlike the third generation

Remember what happened after we died in eden? We went to some kind of limbo. We are capeless (wingless) here. There we find someone which looked like us (but shiny?), we comfort them and boom we get our cape and proceed to ascend to the orbit

In conclusion, what make us different from the former generations is we can save ourselves after death. We can find a way to ascend by ourselves, unlike those statues that need to be helped to ascend (by giving them WLs)

There was a forgotten king! He ruled along with the elder of vault. But as population grew, and wars began, there was a disagreement! The “king” broke away from the other elders, for darkness had clouded his vision. He tried to fight. He used krill, dark spirits, and darkness! But the elders and all on their side overpowered him, and drove him to Eden, where he was locked away and forced to stay. To this day, he sits in a crumbling palace in Eden. His face dark and brooding. He hates that the elders send children to save those who have failed. Okay. There you go. My king theory.

But they have those rotating thingies (I don't know the word for em) that I assume recharge your light
But how exactly does that work? There's no visible source.
And besides, why Valley? It's one of the least corrupted realms.

tvtropes lists the orbit as a gainax ending and that frustrates me, but sorting through my thoughts i am just bewildered.

is orbit a cryptic ending that happened out of the blue whose the only reason is “yeah that just happened”?
the office’s poster lists the orbit as symbolizing the afterlife. the music and visual agree that, after the burden, the wrath from krills and stones and wind, the painstaking sacrifice, after the limbo with shiny boi, the ascending journey feels commonly peaceful and relief, free from the long plight of death and into this ethereal state beyond. it is the exhale after a long time of work, although megabird might be a kind of jerk who created this as part of a ploy to grow her hivemind.

it is a critical element symbolizing the afterlife and everything peaceful after death. lore-wise, it shows the cycle of life and reveals potentially vital information about the life source that sustains skykids, elders, light creatures, and ancestor spirits, and heck even the entire sky-verse. it potentially reveals what skykids are really made of exactly because they have the ability to fly upward beyond human capability into space, that they may not be human after all but connected more closely than we thought to their creator.

not to mention sky repeatedly hints, and hints the detached castle above a mountain rained with thunder in the distance for every realm, and flying to the orbit we finally see it up and close.

but for some, orbit is instead a surreal ending for no reason other than to look breathtaking.

I always thought orbit was more like a sort of heaven, before rebirth. For the real people and spirits, they dwell in some sort of limbo between life and death, and can have some of their more prominent memories relieved as sky kids adventure. It is hard to see much about it, but I’ve always imagined it as something the elders have modified in their deaths so that it could be amazing. Truthfully, I don’t think tgc thought too much about what they were doing while making it beautiful, just deciding that this heaven would be amazing and that the players needed a treat after Eden (which is amazing, it’s just, you know, you die). It is commonly accepted that the afterlife is very beautiful and amazing (for those who were good at least) and this probably played into that. They took a lot of space elements into affect here, regarding the earlier idea that sky kids are stars and that this society fell from such, and it is also accepted that space can be incredibly beautiful, and that the constellations and patterns are breathtaking. Seeing as orbit is in space, tgc overly used that idea and now we see this amazing space. I don’t think there’s really any questions to why it’s beautifully other than it being a form of heaven, it being in space, and tgc probably thinking this is our last hurrah, let’s make this place epic, and possibly because they wanted to show off after Eden.

daleth and alef are fan given names, so more fanon than fanon. although they are hebrew letters, daleth is name of isle elder, alef is the prince thats not physically present in the game. so the two names are falsely attributed to the twins.
kakashi and dora are just names based on physical characteristics

they died unaware of a future generation coming back to repopulate the ark. i have mixed feelings about this, because this is just like van gough dying in his time without knowing his art will be renowned far in the future, but time is a funny thing — the future came. it was long, but we came. we eventually discovered this thing. the treasure is abandoned but still recognized. and for skykids who choose to restore the ark they can see what a valuable decision they have made.
its hard to put into words for me, because to be recognized not in your time is kind of painful.

Two cents I have on butterflies I wanted to ask about
Butterflies seem to be very peaceful creatures that exist, although seeing as they are some of the only creatures in sky, it is very possible prairie elder or someone before him/her/them created them for strategic use. They are yellow/white/gold because they are made of pure light. Sky kids can harvest light from them simply because they radiate it from themselves simply because of how they are made up. When sky kids use the emote, butterfly’s are called to them in the same way a bird is called to a human. They choose to go to them and be held by them. They turn pink as a result of the sky kids energy flowing through them. When they are placed in jars, they most likely hibernate until released. The jars are of course placed in the right spots for people to use them. When a sky kid calls them/deep calls, they swarm the sky kids and help them fly, and I’m not sure why other then because they enjoy the idea of doing so and because they are trained to respond to a call in such a way.

I have a theory that maybe the mantas were also created/bread and also have a power diamond (though it is not corrupted like the krills)

I couldn't get a good picture of a krill's light though

that fits with the theory of eden and the wasteland being corrupted by the use of power diamonds!! you don’t see any mantas in eden (besides when they fly up to orbit), and the only one in wasteland (that i remember ) is the one that’s killed by the krill. maybe the one manta in wasteland is a metaphor for some sort of resistance that was ultimately snuffed out in wasteland?

but that also begs the question as to why the other realms weren’t corrupted if they also had some power diamond use

I also have some evidence that supports my claim that krills were created to guard something or other in Eden and were originally creatures of light that got corrupted. On the wiki page about creatures, I was looking at the crabs section. It says at the bottom, "Note: There is a special variant of uncorrupted crab found in the secret area and a remote archipelago in Sanctuary Island which are harmless and simply roam around. These crabs do not have dark dust falling off them." So that means that crabs were corrupted and are actually not dark creatures. But krill also have the dark dust, showing that they are corrupted too.

So uh... We went wild. Could it be muscles or rings on their arms? Well yes. But it's more fun to think they have prosthetic arms. Also more fun to imagine Teth charges the twins, and whenever the twins can't pay, they get some low quality one without fingers.
