My theory is that skids r dark or neutral and winged light is light and that is why we r a combination of light and dark. That also explains why the krill attack only winged light and not the skid itself.

I’m not sure how to articulate it but I suppose I’ve always seen there being two different types of ‘light’

1. Light from clouds, which I associate with mantas and creatures (since they’re born out of it)
2. Light from flames and fire, which I associate with skykids, since our hearts are composed of fire (the little dot that becomes the candle). Also we’re the only ones in the game that actually light fires, other than that we don’t see creatures starting fires or anything like that.

I’m not sure if I’m being clear but I kinda see that distinction as an important separator between us and light creatures

you know what is really strange, the CN translation of the prophet of air is prophet of wind. though this is probably because they are attempting to stick with the three character pattern, but there is no way to unambiguous describe "air" in one character, you need a modifier to pin down its meaning... technically you can say "空先知” but i don't know.
