I think this season's meaning is that other spirits decided to go to the other relams but the darkness found them. The upcoming season spirits knew about the darkness. That's why they are higher spirits (it's from my imagination). It's a very rare season, cuz its older design. Probably means lot more to TGC than the other ones, before prophecy.

I think the red diamond in eden is a very strong source of light. Since the spirits are too desparate and greedy for the light source, they set boats to go there to retrieve the red diamond but apparantly, they could not store it and it bursted all its energy out, causing the storm

In my eyes what we do in the storm is helping others even when we’re at our worst. Because it’s the right thing to do. Even when the sky is falling we help those we can. And in return somemone helps us

In my group I’m often the one leading people through places like Eden. Litterally I haven’t been alone in eden since the first time I went. Mostly cause it’s always on Monday morning I get at least two: MORS CAN YOU TAKE ME UP EDEN

So for me, my experience with Eden is almost always protecting another person from the storm.

But this is why the lore is vague, isn’t it?

For me the Storm is this place where you desperately want to cling to your light. But you look around and you see others who need light to. So you share and keep pushing against the storm. And you realize all this light wasn’t yours in the first place. It’s their (the statues) lost light so you share and share and share.

You make this selfless act. And when you collapse and have nothing left you keep on. If nothing else the last night doesn’t have to be alone. And in turn, they help you.
