what if all the spirits we see documented a fragment of the process which we are assembled, but they themselves do not know. for instance, the light catchers were collecting light imbued into our vessel, the spirits in wasteland were teaching us how to avoid and survive against the dark dragons. the light miners were mining for raw materials for constructing our vessel, all the expressions and stances we learn are deliberately in place to teach the children of light emotions, the strongest weapon against darkness, connections.

(heard this theory in a youtube video not mine) basically the reason for all the boats in gw is because when the spirits? not sure what to call them were going around the realms trading and all that, got caught in the storm in gw and then fell and crashed, but bc of the krills they cant get out so theyre stuck there. this also explains the ark! all the writings on the side of the boat show them going thru all the realms and then getting stuck in gw and crashing. the farmland, thats where they got their food. the marketplace when you complete all the quests, thats when they continued trading after crashing. not sure if someone already sent this here but its interesting

There's like two gates. The one in the fortress area where lookout spirit can be found and the temple gate so the temple gate is probably the last line of defence

oh regarding the bells: according to the bell transcription doc in the pins by mochi-daifuku, the bells look like tibetan prayer wheels. prayers are scribed onto them, so when they are rung, it's like saying the prayer. i think the bells work in a similar fashion - when they spin, the inscriptions on them work and summon light creatures into existence

So I was thinking about how “light miner” was a job in whatever past civilisation we explore in Sky, and that all doors and machinery are activated with light, and as we get into more industrialised areas there is more overwhelming darkness; I think light in sky is the physical manifestation of life force or energy, and this past civilisation mined and used it to such an extent that the areas they inhabited became devoid of life and started to corrupt. Eventually they consumed so much of the world’s life force that the barrier between life and death was destroyed and the world was split apart in some ultimate cataclysm, explaining the floating landscape why we only ever interact with spirits.

lambdaw or tebkanlo wanted my help in crab sizes before, so i worked on making this. Freshly done so tell me if i missed any crabs/ need to edit anything. I didnt label office crab as small because it seems to be bigger than sanc crabs (its like between small and regular). The BBQ one i was just curious on how it will look like if we were able to hold it

Okay so the iconography is reminiscent of Nephtys (goddess of night, death, and mourning). I’d say it also looks like Isis but for that Isis wore a crown that looked like a throne. Again, no idea if that’s relevant but I feel like our girl Nephtys would sympathize with the world of Sky
