• that's possible that it could be an entirely new map, though not a realm. depends on what you mean by map though. it could also be an expansion of a realm... or more than one realm

• there's grass and stone in the photo, i doubt it's vault but it is possible, who knows?

• if it is a scroll, it could be related to the prophecy. it could have a prophecy, it could have a solution to the prophecy, it could have plans to carry out or stop the prophecy. who knows? also by my convoluted thinking process i have another theory that it is the blueprint for the eden diamond or related to it but that might not be likely atm

The opening cutscene tells us mostly of how the sky kingdom was created and it's downfall, the elders falling from the sky, building the Sky kingdom, and how they somehow got destroyed after disregarding the narrator's warnings. The isle murals depict the ancestors worshipping the stars and finding fallen stars one day, and then bringing them above the clouds with flying boats, the isle elder mural depicts him either bringing the stars down or returning it to the sky.

My theory is that since all the the spirits have very different clothing, but all of them have stone animal masks, they come from different kingdoms but have the same job

opening cut scene:

• for some reason, the child of light in the intro was disconnected from the elders in orbit. to me, i think the child of light willingly disconnected from the elder stars. this disconnection broke the infinite light and darkness came. the stars and the child of light fell due to their disconnection with the light and perhaps being kicked out by megan (megabird).
• child of light in the intro took form as the king of sky. from the isle murals, i think the ancestors were wishing for light. perhaps child of light wanted to be with the people and help them. so since these 7-8 (with the twins) randos fell to the sky the ancestors would definitely worship them since they'd probably be some godsent gift or something like that. i would think that the elders did respect the child of light as they were all connected to it, which brought infinite light, so the child of light thus became king.

"if only they had listened" - could the elders have been warned about abusing the power that light could harness? as possibly the king discovered power diamonds could be made, they could help the sky kingdom in many ways. so power diamond factories were set up. very very useful, and the ancestors began to worship the king even more. king became too prideful, wanted even more power for himself - ordered to make an eden diamond. eden diamond is made but i doubt a power diamond so big could hold itself up, it farted and eden became a whole storm. king's body got destroyed, the pure child of light part of him became stuck in the diamond from the explosion as there's no where else to contain it. the rest of the child of light's parts of it/its soul are scattered across the realm in the storm - or they were deliberately there as sort of memories of the king as he made his way through sky kingdom.
now we are collecting back pieces of the king to store in ourselves, like a sort of reincarnation of sorts, reliving our past lives.

From what we know now, you may be right because no theory is "wrong" per se, we're just discussing and you've got a point there with the cave.
In my personal opinion, some rock formations are present in Storm close to the diamond, although I have to admit that I do not know their shape or if the silhouette in the picture matches the actual rocks I was reffering to. Maybe I'll give them a look myself later, though it's kinda hard to distinguish shapes properly there because we all know why

@kind bobcat In case nobody answered you here's my opinion. I think they are the miners cheap tombs.. the first two dies in the cave in where the plant-infested spirit and the crying spirit try to dig to save them (so before burning the plant you can see there are two in the middle of the room) then even the infested one dies and so there are 3 thingies in the middle of the room
My hypothesis about the plant:

• the loved one (the male with the plant) died because wounds (and then infected by plants)
• simply infected by plants
• his first friends death was too hard to feel for him and the plant represent depressions (which later was exploited by the plant to kill him, infected by heart wound ? )
• he died somehow, not sure why, and then just the crying spirit is left without her loved one and this tainted her (sweet) memory of him.

It's weird that after all the crying spirit is not the sitted spirit from the start, it seems to revolve around the fact that this is the shared her memory of his life. ( she is the one who get the upgraded color, but you still need to touch him to proceed in 3/5 of the process)
