Realms foods:
Isle: Pretty heterogeneous since it still is a huge melting pot of cultures, you will find a lot of variety but folks tend to use spices they don't have access to at home. Lots of travellers means lots of spices !
Prairie: Farmlands, lots of homegrown things, probably a lot of vegetables and fruits. Lots of cheese too, and meat. Roast, soup, pies...
Forest: Not very agricultural so it relies on imports, but local food includes a lot of mushrooms and berries, as well as game meat. Areas closer to prairie will have some really good cottage food.
Valley: A lot of imports on that end too, so like Isle, it's very varied. Probably where you will find fast food too.
Wasteland: FISH. They live by the sea and for a long time lived off it.

Sky lore in a nutshell is a mix of what the devs have released in the game, what we are able to read and see in the concept art for the game and from what theorists on this channel have theorised on.

things about Resh/the king/the prince come almost solely from concept art, mostly Tom Zhao's, while the fanon Elder names come from Yui's concept art. while little to none of these early concepts made it into Live, in the dearth of given material, a lot of the community refers to these concepts. however it's worth noting that since few of these concepts made it to the Live game, they may not be canon – hence why I refer to the Elder names as fanon, not canon

In short we would say Dawn elder or whatever realm and the name elder.

Those would be the canon names for them.
Although you may have heard of other names that were their placeholder names. Even though they are not canon, they can still be used in fanon.

yea, that's my criticism of the broader Sky community – they tend to focus on Resh/the king/the prince to the point of portraying them as the lone protagonist or even the villain of the world, yet there's little to nothing in the Live game that indicates as such. Season of Prophecy and the new Eden mural points at a Chosen One that lived during the ancestors era who is often equivocated to Resh/the king/the prince, but it's doubtful they are a villain as they were in concept art and as many in the Sky community thinks them to be.

Sky doesn't tell a traditional story. the point of Sky is not you playing the main character and saving the world on your own against a big bad evil guy – it's forming bonds with spirits and friends and doing as much as you can to heal a broken, damaged world. it is about the community your share and what teamwork and companionship is capable of, the ✨ power of friendship ✨ so to say

Yes, at some point of the game's development (back when it was called Light Awaits), there were changes to Eden (formerly called Storm).
As how the mods in the chat said they can no longer be saved. Thus implying they would have origianlly been in the game, but is no longer present in the world of Sky.

Oh I think one of the bigger facts we know are about power diamonds/darkstone, basically sky’s Industrial Revolution but to power them they need light, (and they end up over farming mantas for light ) also eden diamond could possibly be darkstone to channel light but it broke but we don’t know for sure (as per usual)

darkstone is a blue mineral that is mined from the earth and refined into power diamonds, which are the octahedron shapes you put your flame up to in order to activate mechanisms like open doors. power diamonds are basically a battery one puts light in to make things function.

There's a bit of confusion because the whale in Sanctuary and the whale are different creatures with the same name, though the latter is also called fish !

Whale in Sanctuary is likely an elder manta following the pattern of bigger and bigger mantas emerging as you complete the quests, while the whale you can spot in the forest caverns, wasteland lobby and the very end of eden is popularly assumed to be an elder fish because it looks like a dunkleostus !

I have a headcanon that all proceeds from the Manta races went towards researching more sustainable ways to gather light from Light Creatures without harming them. It worked pretty well until the diamond went boom and everyone died. I also have a headcanon that the Mantas we see in the flying race are racing Mantas who survived and are happy to be able to race again with us.

For a bit of background,
Cipher Enigma is the story of a special Skykid being able to pilot a mech to defeat an incredibly powerful entity of darkness
Sky Creature of Light tells the tale of the friendship between dark and light creatures

So my question is
Are any of these scenarios plausible to be presented to the players? Because conflict has occurred in that past, and the krills used to be light creatures before corruption set in.

And with the direction of the game getting bolder with each season (Season of Shattering), could there eventually be a culmination where we get to see the events which unfolded in front of our eyes?

Hopefully the Sky community won’t sacrifice a lore theorist to get what they want

I headcanon Valley culture as being really heavily tied with mantas; the poorer citizens especially practically grew up around them because they’re a more widespread and accessible way to get around than darkstone boats, which require huge expensive mechanisms to work (think the dreams gondola). Mantas also came with the bonus of being trainable to perform other tasks besides just being basic mounts, and if you were especially skilled, you could learn how to become a manta acrobat (I headcanon this is what the Aurora spirits are, think plane shows but with mantas) or manta racer, which could both be really lucrative professions.

Anyway. All this to say. Valley spirits who really love and care for mantas and take a lot of pride in their companionship; some of them (nominating twirling champion) hold classes getting kids and spirits who have recently moved in from other realms acquainted with mantas, how to pet them where they like it, how and what to feed them, different riding styles, etc.

ok. I failed to find a qoute from a developer in the server about the King being gone. (sorry Alasdair)
However, there is evidence that can show the King is in fact either scrapped, or missing in the game (as in dead, or changed beyond recognition as what the concept art showed).

The concept art of the elders used to show the King and the Prince, and yet were not present in the line up of elders at the final stages. This may imply either the concept art of them were not posted online, or they were scrapped.
The Eden realm is the only realm in the current game of Sky without an elder. Therefore it is logical that the King would have been the elder of Eden (or Storm as it was called back then).

While I don't have the source, there is evidence that implies that there was a livestream from the developers answering questions. One of them was about the Eden Elder no longer there 'to be saved.'
Several users on the lorechat (including moderators) had made references to this fact.
So, if one were to take it with a grain of salt that it is not true. Feel free to do further research.

About the reference to be saved. It may be a reference to the old concept art of the realm layout. Where it showed the King being in the final area of the realm and an intense area for skykids to reach the king and 'save them'.
This either never made it to the closed beta of the game, not shared about online, or very difficult to access.
We can see how the final area underwent several changes in youtube play throughs, as well as with looking at the Blue Eden OOB.

Blue Eden is an old OOB area that used to be in the game back in Light Awaits.

I have "general" and "private" names for skykids. General names usually have a noun or verb (E.g: Fight, Wander, Vow, Silence) and then private names are just how randomised names are created in sky (interchanging consonants and vowels so it's always pronouncable. E.g: Ihikot)
