We "cleanse" the king and destroy their body and the prince wakes up flying us out of the king's body and out of eden

Thinking about it.. assuming that the prince is the white skid when we finish eden

Its like in the live version king gets destroyed and prince gets trapped in crystal

After we save the fallen in eden the prince awakens and brings us out of eden

Of course its just assumptions and trying to connect things

I did an analysis here at some point and said that literally it may refer to the eden diamond being exposed, vulnerable

While figuratively it may refer to the situation of the kingdom being bare at the precipice of war and conflict

Hello, I know this might seem like a minor thing to you, but I’d really appreciate if you didn’t depict wolves as evil and use them as shadow monster fodder — not only do they not act anything like what darkness creatures do, but it’s a nasty stereotype that has lasted centuries and led to many of their deaths, and it sucks to see it perpetuated

I actually think wolves would be light creatures; they travel in packs, they roam large distances in cycles, and they howl! Imagining the songs of a pack weaving together into one whole

There's no tree of life in Sky, though I like the idea that the Forest used to be a sacred grove (hence why it's described as forbidden in the concept timeline), perhaps the ancestors respected them since they look like pillars linking earth and sky just like the Eden beam links the kingdom to the stars.

Irl the tree of life has an overwhelming amount of symbolism linked to it, but a lot are described by tree trunks linking the profane (earth) to the sacred (sky), or by the patterns branches make with one source of power diluted and/or separated into multiple entities before reaching the most diluted states (iirc the jewish tree of life represents where god's power goes before reaching the earth, and vice versa with going on a journey from the most profane circles to beholding divinity).

The branching patterns kinda reminds me of how megabird is depicted with a "head" from which extend long strings that look like branches, so perhaps the head is the Light in its most concentrated form & the individual strands link it to more physical worlds, such as the kingdom.

Megabird is the so-called god of Sky, may or may not be analogous to the Light, a huge amalgamation of light and light beings in space, hardly seen in game aside from when descending from Orbit after the end credits (first image). the name Megabird comes from Tom Zhao's concept art (second image) who depicts Megabird as light itself.

Well at the start of the event, you freed jellyfish underwater. Marching Adventurer then walked around the area, each day adding another jellyfish to the line until Adventurer stopped leading them, yet the jellyfish continued moving on their own. It reminded me of a parent pushing their kid on a bike for the first time and eventually letting go, having the kid bike on their own.

There’s a thought that there are no more elder jellyfish asides from the ones in Eden. In the rest of the world, the jellyfish stay in one place, bobbing around but not moving. Days of Sunlight proved that they could move, yet they didn’t. Other light creatures migrate so why are jellyfish stationary? The lack of elder jellyfish to lead to them could be why.

IMO the red candles with wax are contributing to the system called "Daily light". Every day, Megabird lashes out light for sky kids to collect and help rebuild the kingdom (i think). The white candles, are currency AND sent from Megabird itself (again, i THINK). When you collect a white candle, a gentle beam of light shines down and gifts you with whatever amount of candles. It's like a reward for helping to reconstitute Megabird's full power and fix the kingdom? Idk it's just a theory A SKY THEORY- ok I'm gonna stop now

In extension the elders as well, notice that there are 4 treasure candles in a realm and the next day they become the daily quest realm (with the eyes of the faces on the portal lighting up as if energized)

For our efforts we are awarded with white candles, in the tutorial phases its even called a light tribute.

When reset comes darkness takes over the realms once more and megabird strengthens us for the endeavor (chevrons getting restored)

TLDR megabird caused Eden's downfall.
basically:
-king gets born or megabird sends king down from the kingdom in orbit down to sky
-king does the trials, becomes king, all that fun junk
-king does something wrong such as draining the mantas light for power diamonds for hidden forest [miki suggested that the abyss peeps collected the diamonds to cover up for his mistakes and i thought that was awesome]
-megabird gets really mad and destroys eden as punishment/judgement.

Some seasonal spirits were shown to be contemporaries with basegame spirits ! iirc backflip champion , fainting warrior and saluting captain all appear in Slouching Soldier's memory !

It seems like at least one Valley spirit knew spirits from the Wasteland, so maybe these 4 lived through the glorious before times crashing into the post-apocalyptic world we know.

If the realms can be used as a guideline to make a timeline of the civilization, I'd say the eruption of Eden could have happened at the end of the era the Valley of Triumph represents; perhaps the Wasteland is like this to show conflict for ressources.

I like to think the Vault spirits live in a post-apocalyptic world, but forced to stay in the safety of the Vault because of all the darkness outside.
Scholars living out their last days archiving all the knowledge they can to pass onto the future generations... The realm shattering apart as you go through it, just like old age makes your memories unreliable despite your best efforts and knowledge is inevitably lost to time... yeah.

Okay, let's be honest with ourselves, the sky universe doesn't really make any sense. We could try to make head and snakes of it, but at the end of the day we all only have a vague sense of what the story, science, or even characters are about.

I really doubt Megabird is that sort of god. It doesn’t seem Megabird is even able to interact with the world directly, They just send down entities to carrying out Their will (Chosen One, Elders, skykids) and it all seems to be in service of light. Why would a god of light submerge the holy site in darkness?

I don’t think they seem like the kind of god to wipe out a bunch of lives on purpose, many of them innocent (at the very least light creatures, children, etc) because of a sin that some of them committed — especially since they’re made up of what could very well be those peoples’ loved ones

Depends on what you mean by "making sense", because while we don't know the details, we can tell what happened to the kingdom by observing our surroundings. Story and characters definitely are present in the game, although it's true it can be confusing with all the info scattered across social media

As for science, I think it's a detail the devs aren't gonna go too deep on, so this is left almost blank for us to go wild with !
