TGC works really hard on this game, they aren't some huge corporation that has funds to spare. They're an indie dev studio. Let's respect the game so that they aren't forced to place restrictions on us or anything.

@ancient fulcrum i don't see anyone answering you above, so please pardon the ping; what most likely happened was your friend might've accidentally tapped too fast on her screen (probably while trying to jump/flap) while your character was overlapping the button and accidentally blocked you (because the block option on the friend tree shows up roughly around where the flap button is), but then immediately unblocked you as soon as she realised what she did -- that's the only explanation i can think of for being able to piggyback on a shadow player

the game's just showing her as a shadow player (as a kind of privacy/protection measure) until the next time you both log on, then she should look normal again

if there isn't another floating platform or protrusion of land nearby where you can stand, then the game's probably expecting you to light another shrine that might be behind some obstacles; i can't remember which part of the trial that is from those 5 seconds and just that angle though

the two black statues visible in those 5 seconds look too far away to be it, i'm guessing where you need to go is outside of the shot

I did look around and tried to jump back to the previous platform, but failed. Then to the left to a rock, but couldn’t make it in time. I can spot a shrine, but it’s too far away.
I also find that jumping is erratic and sometimes doesn’t work at all.

definitely submit it to feedback if you feel the directions aren't clear for the water trial, though i don't recall being too confused myself; i found that the trial was testing the limits of your timing and how you traversed as far as possible by using the bits of ground that appeared first due to their elevation (how you move from your jumping is definitely pushed to the limit, including the somewhat janky/slippery sky kid momentum)

@fleet creek The murals show different civilisations searching then finding the coloured stones,this particular one in your picture shows the civilisations in possession of these stones...each stone has a different energy attracting different things eg:manta (blue).. once stones are all together -that’s when the krills come out from the darkness for the first time because they are attracted to our light ..(winged light created by every stones power)

I'd submit it as a bug. Most benches have candles, so it seems like a bug. But even if it isn't, if you submit it, TGC will see that players are confused about the purpose of the benches and might adjust things to be more clear.
