@astral tundra it’s a new thing tgc is trying out in beta. There’s a mysterious friendliness bar that fills up as you play and interact with others, and when its full you get a badge like what you see above my head. You can see your own progress by going to your friend constellation and then clicking the little icon in the top right corner of your screen. Mine says “shepherd” since I got the badge, and then “guide new players through the world of sky”.

So my current theory is that the meter fills up when you help players that you find and friend in-game (not through qr).
Hold their hands and show them where stars are, upgrade friendship, take them to the office, lead them through levels... that sort of thing.
I was helping out people from discord and I didn’t notice a big difference in my bar, but then I helped out a couple people I met in-game with the office thing and poof! Shepherd
